Vanessa and Karla were our point of contacts. Every step of the way they were making changes on the fly with the patience of a Saint and extreme enthusiasm! We had excellent service at our table night of with being waited on hand and foot and getting every single desire we had for food or drink. The bartender impressed as well by making pisco sours for my sailor table and using aqua fabba as the foaming agent perfectly. Food was marvelous, no complaints from anyone as they all thought it delicious. Only complaint I'd say is dry bread, but their honey butter quickly solved this issue!
This vendor was wonderful in all ways. They eased my anxiety by ensuring that they worked with my venue, helped with set up and tear down, made unexpected last minute accommodations and the list goes on.

beginning of the event set up, she checked on us multiple times throughout the night to make sure we were happy with everything, and fixed any little problem as they came up. The bussing and serving staff were extremely friendly, and they also boxed up our food and packaged them nicely for us, as well as helped us with our cupcakes. They also checked with us at the end of the night to make sure that we were happy with everything, and to make sure we didn't need anything before they took off. The wedding menu included veggie and cheese trays, and filled red potatoes. For dinner we had vegetarian lasagna and enchiladas, green salad and bread. Everything was delicious, and we had plenty of food for 140 guests.
Occasions also provided bartenders, who were professional and helpful.
I am so glad I selected Occasions for my wedding and would recommend them to anyone in the Olympia/Tacoma area!

I'm writing this from the point of the bride-They make it really easy for the planner/bride (in this case), as they take most of the work off your plate so you can focus on the many other parts of the plan. I also wanted two items that were not on their menu. A chocolate/caramel fondue (which they accommodated, and it was SO GOOD) and a specialty item from a local restaurant, which they allowed us to bring that in on our own (which I found most caterers were not as open to this idea). Bottom line, they wanted what WE wanted, and they did whatever it took to make that happen. Brianna, our catering manager was a saint, and I would recommend her and this company in a heartbeat. You wont be disappointed in the slightest! The only thing I would recommend is that you read your contract/proposal carefully in case of accounting errors. But that goes for ANY company...catering or not. (because NONE of us ever make a mistake when it comes to math lol) At the end of the day, I couldn't have been more pleased and my guests had rave reviews. They even stocked our room full of food since we (bride/groom) didn't have much of a chance to eat. We didn't miss a thing from our menu, and THANK GOD. Because it was delicious!! You wont be disappointed!!!

cheaper than other caterers in the area), the servers were on top of it, and the atmosphere was beautiful.
They helped set up my centerpieces, and never tried to "up sell" anything at any point. The contract was straight forward, and we even got our deposit back in less than 3 weeks! For our limited budget, we were able to feed everyone a lovely buffet dinner, serve our own beer and wine (with no corkage fee), and they set up and broke down everything.
I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to give their guests a classy party, but are only working with a budget under $10,000. Thank you Occasions, you made my day fabulous!!!
Tip: they were cutting off our guests at the bar because they have a limit of getting 3 drinks per hour. Well, a lot of these people were getting drinks for other people (like myself and my husband). So, just be prepared for this and plan accordingly.
