Melissa would send me recommendations of other vendors if I asked. They had a cute and much needed questionnaire of the photos we wanted to be taken. On the wedding day, not only did they take amazing photos but they were the leaders I needed. They kept the whole bridal party on schedule. They made sure my husband and I didn’t run into each other before the first look. If things were becoming a little tense for me they would lighten up the situation. Melissa would help calm down the chaos with the bridesmaids and family. There was a time where Melissa noticed there was a few things I wanted and she helped me out right away! I needed this more than they realize! Melissa and Dustin truly do want the bride and groom to have the best day of their lives. I love my wedding photos and it is truly because of them! Another note to add… they are the best husband and wife team out there! I have been in another wedding who had photographers who were a husband and wife team and they do not even compare to Melissa and Dustin. They are one of a kind and I am truly grateful I chose them!

Dustin even saved the day with his tide to go pen when I spilled chocolate ice cream on my wedding dress. Honestly these two are the best. otographers were! We got married in one of the hardest churches to capture pictures, due to the strict rules and dark lighting. You would never know this after looking at the pictures from the ceremony. The pictures are gorgeous, lighting and all. I was so worried about the weather not cooperating for outdoor pictures, but Dustin told me they already had a backup plan, if needed. Of course, it was 45 degrees and pouring rain our entire wedding day. No worries, these two literally came up with photo locations on the fly! We were on the party bus driving from one location to the next, and Melissa spotted a great photo opp under a huge bridge. These ended up being some of our favorite photos from the day. Pouring down rain, yet our outdoor pictures are amazing – and we didn’t get wet! Being an event planner, it was hard to let myself trust others with planning my day. There was no reason not to trust these two. They know the best timing and schedule, for everything throughout your day. So much stress taken off my plate by hiring these two! Melissa and Dustin also work perfectly as a team. When one is snapping away, the other might notice the lighting needs adjusted slightly. They complimented each other when one had a great shot idea, and assisted each other when needed. When I originally told my husband we’d be taking pictures for around 3 hours day of, he about lost it. He hates pictures. During our wedding day, he told me how awesome and fun Melissa and Dustin were, and how those few hours of pictures flew by. He didn’t even complain once! They are secretly miracle workers as well 😉 . I wish you could give more than 5 stars, because they deserve a million more. If you are looking for a photographer, BOOK THEM! I’ve been trying to come up with a reason I need pictures taken, just so I can hire them again!

them. After talking and meeting with Dustin & Melissa, we knew they were perfect for our wedding! I loved that One Red Door doesn't charge by time. We had looked at other studios that charged based on how many hours you wanted the photographer there, which means you won't get professional photos of your entire day, which was important to me. One Red Door charges one flat rate, and you get your photographers (two of them, which is really awesome!) ALL day. Dustin and Melissa were with us literally for 10-11 hours that day and EVERY part of our wedding is photographed, getting ready, the ceremony, pictures after the ceremony, traveling to the ceremony, the reception hall before guests arrived, cocktail hour, and the entire reception following. We also get digital copies and printing rights to the pictures they took, which is great. They were so helpful and easy to work with throughout the entire process of planning. They were so easy to get a hold of, either by email, phone call, or text, and they were willing to help answer any questions from their extensive wedding experience. They were always willing to give advice or an opinion, but were NEVER pushy and I never felt obligated to do anything I didn't want to do. I can't even explain how helpful they were the day of the wedding. They were with us from the time we started getting ready until the reception was wrapping up in the evening, 10 or 12 hours later. Dustin and Melissa were so in sync the whole day and helped keep everyone and everything running smoothly. Dustin helped make sure the guys were in their places on time, cued the bridal party when to walk down the aisle, told us when the guests were ready outside for our exit, helped round up all the family for photos afterwards, coordinated with the DJ at the reception hall, and I'm sure many more things I wasn't even aware of. It really felt like we had 2 wedding assistants, not just photographers. They also had an assistant with them most of the day too and she was just as wonderful! They really made the day so much less stressful and I was able to really enjoy it all because I wasn't worrying about making sure everyone was in their place. We have over 1,500 pictures from our wedding day, and to be honest, there is not a single one that I do not like. The pictures really speak for themselves, they are beautiful, and it is clear that Dustin & Melissa both have a passion and talent for what they do. They captured moments that I didn't even know were happening and we have a picture of nearly every one of our 230 guests at our reception. They even mailed us little announcement cards that have a link where guests can view all the photos and purchase any they would like. They are prefect for putting inside the thank you cards. Working with One Red Door photography was absolutely the best decision we made. They are truly wonderful people who care about each of their couples. They went above and beyond in so many ways and I really feel that we not only hired GREAT photographers, but we hired wedding EXPERTS. If I had to do it all over, I would choose One Red Door without hesitation and would recommend them to everyone!

This was espically nice because I spent a lot of time doing diy projects and it was so special to have them capture all those details. What makes them so special is that your not just hiring photographers your hiring the best husband and wife team that will make sure your wedding day runs perfectly. They honestly saved our wedding day. With two hours left before the ceramony Melissa and Dustin solved what we now refer to as the "pants fiasco". Unbeknownst to me there was a major wardrobe malfunction on our groomsmen side. Melissa and Dustin came to the rescue by going out of their way to stop at the store to pick up all new matching pants for our groosmen. This all happened without me (the bride) knowing until after the ceramony, which by that time it was all solved so I had nothing to stress about! I could go on and on about how amazing these guys were to work with. We love them, our friends love and our families love them too. They are not just wedding photographers, they are wedding superheros!

What I loved about their concept was that I was able to get every photo they took for the night, not just a certain number that was selected for me. Personally it was much more important to me to have lots of photos instead of a smaller number of photos and things like prints or product. In the end we had over 1,500 photos from the entire day! I can't say enough how much we appreciated having such amazing people to work with on our special day, and we would choose them again for our wedding photography. I'm sure we'll be using them for any future professional photography we need.

The pair were incredibly accommodating and even squeezed us in for an engagement shoot with about three days notice. Communication leading up to the wedding was outstanding. They wanted my ideas and had lots of suggestions. On the day of they continued to be spectacular. Dustin even went as far as picking up pizza for the bridal party. We had the photo booth option which I'm still torn about. There were a lot of great pictures that came together in the photo booth but it also resulted in Melissa being there all night and only Dustin taking action shots and candids. Again, I cannot recommend the pair highly enough. Beautiful pictures. Very professional people.
