REDDEN

I don’t think these photos or the experience were worth 7k. Communication was seriously lacking throughout the entire process. There were some gorgeous photos, but redden was a nightmare to work with. I wish I could attach email screenshots to show her lack of communication. In early August, just before my wedding, I had to follow up several times to get answers to my questions. Further screenshots would show us following up in early September, asking for a preview. We did not receive a response until the end of the month, and received our preview nearly 2 months after our wedding. I followed up in November after to ask about the rest of the package, as I wanted to get a photo album as Christmas gifts for people. I did not get a response until December. At that point, she said we would have them by Christmas. We did not receive them by Christmas. I followed up. She said I’ll have them by the first two weeks of January. Didn’t receive them. Followed up. She said by Tuesday at the latest. Didn’t receive them. Followed up. She said by Thursday or Friday at the latest. Didn’t receive them. Followed up again, this time more directly (screenshots attached). Redden immediately got defensive, told me I have a double chin, & said she doesn’t operate on hard deadlines. She also said I have been repeatedly threatening her when I told her ONCE that we would disputing the charge on Amex since she was in breach of the contract. A couple of takeaways from this: - redden had legitimate reasons to extend the timeline. However, as a business owner, she did not communicate well at all. She did not follow up after missed deadlines, nor did she provide any kind of reassurance. - She made personal attacks on me when all I did was call her out on her behavior not meeting my expectations as a customer. - How are you a business owner & you don’t operate on hard deadlines? lol Anyways, there are some good pictures, some trash pictures. Who knows if she was being spiteful or just didn’t think to move a steamer from the shot? As the bride, I had a lot going on that day. It would have been nice of redden, a “professional” wedding photographer, to try to capture moments with my mom, me and my siblings, etc. as there are so many important family members I have no photos with. Wish I could take back my choice, but I can’t! Don’t make my mistake.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Redden at a wedding, and let me just say that Redden is amazing. She is a whole lot of fun, allowing the couple to fully relax in front of the camera. She is organized, enthusiastic, creative, and extremely friendly. I cannot forget how talented she is behind the camera. As a wedding planner, I'm always appreciative of photographers who are collaborative when it comes to creating a timeline, and Redden is 100% a team player. Within just a few weeks of the wedding, she provided a huge sneak peek of the wedding. And let me tell you, there is no ounce of disappointment. Redden is a gem, and you'd be wise to hire her!

If for some reason you're questioning whether or not to hire Redden, DO IT. She is the most amazing person, let alone photographer. She is sweet, funny, engaging, and will drop an Anchorman quote in seamlessly. Not only does she capture the moments you wanted, she captures the ones you didn't know you needed. She has an artistic style that is so unique and will set your photos apart and show who you and your spouse are, truly. She is also just a great guest to have at any occasion. She did our engagement shoot, ceremony, and will be at our delayed reception, and honestly, any other event I can convince her to shoot. Absolutely phenomenal. Could not recommend anyone more.

Redden is an absolute ARTIST and a DELIGHT to be around! She did our engagement photos and wedding photos and they are .... unbelievable. Her work is so stunning, as anyone can see by a look at her instagram or website, but when she photographs your wedding/engagement/elopement and you get to see how her vision also captures your love, and the special moments of the day, and who you and your partner (and wedding party and family and friends) are as people, it's even more special. Her quality and keen eye is consistent throughout the album (imagine getting over 1000 magazine quality photos of the best day of your life), not just a highlight reel. And she's so fun to be around, puts everyone at ease to bring out everyone's natural personalities, and so sweet to boot. Plus, the beautifully designed keepsake box of prints from your wedding she sends is a gorgeous keepsake and something that could otherwise be overlooked in our digital time. HIRE HER! I honestly don't know where to start. The only reason I reviewed Redden as a 5 star vendor is because I can't review her as infinity star vendor. We booked Redden by reviewing her social media and website since Colorado was a destination for us. She was so sweet and got back to us as we tried to find a date that worked for her and our venue (YMCA of the Rockies). We didn't meet her until our wedding day. The day of our wedding was flawless. She had the sweetest second photographer. We married outside in October and it was COLD! But they were both troopers. But you don't hire a photographer because they have the best personality (and Redden certainly does), you want those magazine worthy shots, and shots of all the little details, and emotions. And booooooy, did we get them. We are absolutely amazed by these pictures. Obsessed. In Awe. There are not enough thank you's in this whole world for Redden.

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Redden! We have spent a lot of time with Redden over the past year and each time she brightens our day with her humor and carefree spirit! We first met her at a taco shop in Denver, and immediately knew she was our perfect match! She is fun, outgoing, adventurous, and ridiculously talented. She did our engagement shoot at Dream Lake in Estes Park, CO and it was a blast! She also met with us for an extra “gift exchange” shoot in Denver and out did herself again. She spends so much time and effort getting the perfect shots, while also giving you space to try and get less stages shots. By the time our wedding day came we knew exactly what to expect from Redden and she did not disappoint! For each event she sends over tons of beautifully edited photos. A huge bonus is she always includes detail shots that really add to each album and help you to feel like you are reliving that day. We have received so many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos and cannot thank Redden enough! If you are lucky enough to be able to have Redden as your photographer, you absolutely need to!

Redden was an absolutely incredible photographer! She was a joy to work with and made Matt and myself feel so comfortable in front of the camera which is sometimes difficult for us. She is flexible, easy to get in touch with, and by far one of the best people ever to be around! You will not be disappointed working with Redden!

This is a 2 for 1 review here but we had Redden for our Engagement session where she went on a 5-hour hike up into rocky mountain national park. Where we took the most breathtaking photos up there. We were blown away by the tone, mood and aesthetic of her shots. Also by her enthusiasm and trying to get the best looks out of us. When it was time to book our photographer for our wedding in Hawaii! I knew it may have been a stretch to book her being the distance so far. But she totally came through for us! On the day of the wedding was not the best of weather conditions but we powered through to plan B. She and her partner totally made the best of it. Pictures captured the moments better than I remember also with all the small details and colors pop with that film camera feel. Could not have been any better. It really pays off to have someone like Redden capturing your special moments in life. Thank you so much for being part of our wonderful day!

I am so happy that we chose Redden for our photography. My husband and I are quiet and honestly not very comfortable in front of the camera so when we were deciding who to pick for our wedding photography it was important to us to find someone who could make us feel comfortable and bring us out of our shells in front of the camera. I knew Redden was the right choice when I first met her over a Google hangouts call. I'm so happy we chose her! She felt like apart of the family from the moment she arrived. My family still talks about how great she was to have around. The pictures turned out stunning. She made our wedding look like a scene from a movie! I've looked through them everyday since she sent the final copies over and I'm still delighted. I will recommend Redden to anyone who asks for the rest of time.

Let me tell you why Redden is my favorite. She is consistent. She is thoughtful. She is out of this world hard working. She loves what she does, and she cares. She is present, and joyful. She brings her art, eye, and love for what she does to every moment she's a part of, and she will give you something you can be proud to show your whole family for years to come. She'll make your mother cry, and just about everyone else with her insane talent and outrageously beautiful work. She is an artist, and she is the best. We love you!

I am literally so speechless. We hired Redden for an adventure engagement session (our wedding is next year!) and she just went so above and beyond. She literally hiked all the way until sunset with us, just to get the exact shot we wanted. We were at 12,000 feet and she stood there, changing angles and working her absolute best to get everything she needed, and we ended up with what can only be described as magic. She is endlessly hardworking, and her work shows for it. I cherish my photos and I cherish her. Go big for your engagement photos!!

We just looked through our photos for the 5th time and are blown away with every single one! We are so grateful for the wonderful sneak peek you gave us, with no delay, that helped hold us over until our full gallery was delivered! Oh my gosh Redden, you did such a phenomenal job. You are SO talented. We just looked through everything and we feel as if we've just relived everything over again. THANK YOU. I wish I could put into words how incredible Redden is at what she does, but no matter how I try to describe it, it doesn't fully do justice to Redden's talent. She just photographed our wedding, and as I'd been dreaming about having Redden as our photographer probably longer than I dreamed about getting married, my expectations were HIGH. And yet, I'm here, lost for words. The photos were AMAZING. Every. single. moment of the day, captured so perfectly, so full of emotion, so genuine. And when I try to think back, I can hardly remember seeing Redden all day. She was so discreet, so endeering. She blended in so well, got on everyone's good side and it shows!! The photos are the best wedding gift we could ever receive. I've looked over our gallery 7 times now and I'm still crying within 10 photos. Aaaaaah I could write you a love letter, Redden. Redden is AMAZING! She is so talented and made our entire wedding day come to life. I loved looking at all of the pictures and reliving the highlights of my wedding day. Just wow. Your photography is stunning. I loved reveling in them all weekend. I poured over each category marveling at the quality of light, composition and visual choices you made. Redden was awesome and we are so happy we went with her. My husband and I are both journalists, and capturing the "moment" is huge for us in our work. Redden looks through the lens and captures the stories and the moments from the day. She made us feel really comfortable.. There were times during our wedding when I completely forget she was there. That's the great thing. She's present and vocal when she needs to be, but also hangs back and is able to capture those "moments." Her editing style is so unique and pretty, but I feel like OUR style was also highlighted in our photos beautifully. Redden is great at communicating too. We live in Minnesota and she's always quick to respond to emails and texts. Do not pass up an opportunity to work with her!

We chose Redden to do our wedding photos for our May 5th wedding this year. My husband actually went to high school with her and as soon as we got engaged he said 'I know the perfect photographer!". And perfect she was indeed. Our wedding photos are absolutely stunning. Redden is extremely professional and was very easy to work with throughout the entire booking process. We forewent an engagement session with her, but she kept us informed and in the loop all the way up to the date. She has such a creative eye and really captured our special day perfectly. She is fun and makes you feel amazing and comfortable in front of the camera. She also works with incredible "seconds" or second shooters, if thats the package you choose. You can tell that Redden values quality and we literally like every single photo she took--not an easy feat to accomplish! Everyone always says to choose your photographer wisely because you'll be spending your entire wedding day with them, which is why Redden was the PERFECT choice! The thing about Redden is that you will never find anyone better than her... I would stop my review there and just assume everyone can take it as face value but let me break it down. Redden is the most creative, dynamic, comfortable, worth-your-money, hilarious, darling, and accommodating photographer. I can confidently say that my fiance and I wouldn't have been half as comfortable taking our engagement photos with someone else. She makes you feel like you've been friends for years and like you actually are models that know what they're doing. She takes your awkward moments in the shoot and makes them look like endearing candid photos. Just do it. Just book Redden. Stop looking for someone else.

Redden is the BEST. She's so professional but also fun - seriously, she will get down on the dance floor with you and your guests and it's such a blast. She's so good at directing with posing, but also making you laugh so any awkwardness you might feel from being in front of the camera completely disappears. More than that, she really cares about documenting your day and telling your love story through photos. She captures all of the big moments from your wedding, but also remembers to get all of the small details as well. My husband and I put so much work into the details and small decorations at our wedding, and she made sure to capture each and every one of them, so now we can look back on our photos and remember everything from our day! I highly recommend you hire her if you're looking for someone who is thoughtful, fun, professional, and will take amazing, creative photos!

To say working with Redden was fabulous would be an understatement! She captured my wedding day in ways I couldn’t even imagine possible! We used Redden for our Engagement photos and our Wedding photos and both turned out beautifully. We are located in Washington state, but got married in Illinois and she was so easy to communicate with. We had her travel to Washington for our Engagement photos and it was super easy to coordinate travel plans with her. Our engagement photos included hiking and climbing on sea rocks. She did it all and captured amazing photos! On our wedding day we had all day coverage with a second shooter. Both of them were so professional and fun to work with. They captured our day so beautifully and really captured our personalities. It was important to me to photograph all the little details and Redden made sure it happened! While at the same time she wasn't in everyone's faces trying to get photos. The photos she took in the background are some of my favorites. If you're looking for a fun, energetic, adventurous, talented and professional photographer she's the one for you!

Our engagement and wedding photos are absolutely beautiful. Redden is a joy to work with, very easy going, goofy, and has lots of fun ideas. We keep getting compliments on our photos and I can't imagine having anyone else be our photographer. She was always in the right place at the right time, I didn't have to worry about her on the day of - she was discreet and sensitive and captured all the right shots!
