Rosemary's Catering (The RK Group)

like royalty on the most special day of our lives. The staff made sure that we were served hors de'oeuvres during our cocktail hour and made dinner plates for us so we didn't need to stand in the buffet line. In addition, Rosemary's prices were reasonable and inclusive, which allows them to maintain the high quality of their service. I highly recommend Rosemary's to anything planning a wedding or other event in the future.

idn't like not having a choice, but Art put my mind at ease. He was a complete pleasure to work with!! My fiance and I were in complete agreement on the meal, sides and salad, but couldn't figure out what appetizers we wanted. (Possibly a result of the 13 weddings we attended in less than a yr leading up to our own). Art scheduled a second tasting with us, and not only had notes from our first tasting, but suggestions galore on what we should try next and what wasn't there to try, but would be perfect. Don't get me wrong, the food at the tasting was delicious, but what we got on our wedding day was out of this world!! Not only was the food delicious, but RK/Rosemary's followed up on venue questions I had, when I couldn't get in touch with my event coordinator, they had individual servers for both me and the groom the day-of and they even had someone dedicated to my mother-in-law who was fresh off of extensive back surgery and was still in a lot of pain. We had a plated dinner, so I don't mean they brought her food, they did that for everyone. A server brought her appetizers, drinks, extra ice the works. The same over-the-top service was done for several of our guests. If that wasn't enough, anticipating our every need, my new husband and I had the cutest basket of food, silverware and champagne in our getaway car, to eat after the wedding. You don't just get what you pay for, in this instance, you get the full royal treatment! A month out, and I am still trying to figure out how to have a re-do of our wedding meal, for our first anniversary!!! You literally can't go wrong going with Rosemary's!

in dress and service. The "late night snack" of breakfast burritos, were the best. I think about them and mouth still waters! The reception meal was exquisite. All of our guests were very impressed. Thanks so very much. It was a pleasure!

incredible to work with and was SO accommodating to everything we wanted. We sat and picked our menu out together and she listened to what we wanted and also made great suggestions. Our tastings were delicious and that's when we knew we had made the best decision ever. I sent tons of emails back and forth to Christine about ideas and things we wanted to add or change, and never once did I feel like I was a burden or asking for too much. They flipped my reception space in an hour and set up my tables exactly like how I envisioned. There is seriously not enough words to describe how perfect and amazing they truly were to us. I mean they seriously listened to every detail I said. Rosemary's provided us with our appetizers, entrees, bartenders, our bar, our mixers for the bar, our linens, cake cutting service, and an incredible staff. You're crazy not to book them!

ny other caterers. I have to agree with them - Rosemary's is the BEST! Emily, our catering manager, was super helpful, ever patient, and professional. My daughter had some significant dietary restrictions and Emily ensured that her needs were met perfectly. The buffet meal was delicious, fresh and tasty. My personal favorite part of the meal was the Bananas Foster that the Chef prepared onsite. It was incredible with the Amy's Mexican vanilla ice cream that the bride and groom paired with it - a "to die for" dessert that beat any wedding cake! My daughter, her groom, the wedding party, all guests and parents thoroughly enjoyed the delicious catering by Rosemary's. The meal was handled with precision professionalism and care. We highly endorse them!

In addition, they were able to provide the chairs, tables, linens, etc. - very convenient to have it all in one place. If you want food that actually tastes good at your wedding, I highly recommend Rosemary's.

that we were not 'easy to please' clients and kicked it into overdrive to make sure we were happy. We ended up choosing Rosemary's because they (Rachel) did not give us any cause to question capability. They ensured that all of our food was prepared according to our specifications (which were pretty detailed). We originally wanted to go with a boutique caterer but chose Rosemary's because they made us feel most comfortable. Another positive factor was the number of staff they bring. Our other vendors knew that everything would go off without a hitch when they heard Rosemary's was catering. They brought a staff of 25 for 200 guests. We had 200 guests at Vista on Seward Hill. Our menu consisted of carved beef tenderloin (my recipe supplied), beurre blanc chicken breasts, crispy brussel sprouts, au gratin potatoes, and roasted broccolini. Apps were wasabi tuna on wonton crisp, beef carpaccio, and watermelon feta skewers. We also had passed grilled cheese/tomato soup post dinner. ALSO, they do a free tasting. So why not?

plated dinner at our relatively small (60 guest) wedding. Rosemary’s made this possible and never left us with the feeling that our wedding was too small or inconsequential. From setting up our tasting, to renting chairs, tables, picking out linens, and everything in between, Rosemary’s delivered. Our Sales Manager, Christine Hannah, was amazing! She was on top of everything and was very accessible and diligent. The food and service was impeccable. My husband and I are still receiving compliments about how outstanding the pork belly crostini and crab cake hor d'oeuvres tasted, as well as the flavorful pork tenderloin and quail we served as main course. This was truly a one stop shop for us, Rosemary’s provided our chairs, tables, linens, passed hor d'oeuvres, salad, plated dinner, bar services, and even cut our cake which was delivered by a different vendor! Rosemary’s Catering took the time to listen to all my concerns and had a plan in place to address them before I could even ask! I would highly recommend Rosemary’s Catering (and Christine) to anyone planning a wedding!

they have been through so many big events and really know how to handle a wedding. My husband and I were planning from out of town and wanted a complete vendor who could be trusted and execute everything we wanted. It was great that we could rent chairs/linens/China through them and have our bartenders included! Overall, working with Rosemary's was great. My husband and I had two tastings with them, and they were very accommodating to what we wanted. They even let us request things "off the menu" for the chef to make, which we loved. My reasons for the four stars instead of five are the following: (1) we requested a special sauce for our steak, and it unfortunately did not turn out as planned despite two tastings to resolve exactly what we wanted. Further, the steak did not have sauce on the plate as requested; (2) we also wanted to have our cocktail hour at a certain location at our venue and were told that our guests would be accommodated in that area. It was not until our final coordinating meeting that we were told by rosemary's that it would not be possible to have our cocktail hour in the area we had requested over a year earlier. In the end, our wedding was amazing. Rosemary's is a great vendor to work with, and they truly do care about their clients. We just wish a couple of our issues had turned out better for the cost we were paying.

to make a last minute change due to rain and they responded quickly and still helped us achieve the unique wedding ceremony that we wanted. The RK staff were amazing! We are still getting compliments about the bar staff and how they were personable and friendly with all of our guests. I would recommend The RK Group to anyone!

he event planning effortless for me, since I do not live in Austin. After interviewing several caterers, I realized that this was an involved project that not just any caterer could handle. Once I spoke with Emily Mayala from Rosemary's Catering, I knew I had found my girl! The venue was such that every detail and every item had to be brought in; every table, chair, napkin, fork, wine glass, bars, music, decorations, kitchen set-up, ice cube, as well as food and beverage. Emily made sure all of these details were taken care of. When I arrived at the event, the room was set to perfection, and the event staff was busy with the final details, making sure that every fork and every wine glass was impeccably polished. Throughout cocktail hour, there was never a shortage of hors d'oeuvres, and the drink service was very efficient. For dinner, the timing of the plated service for our guests was spot-on! Not only did our guests receive their meal at the same time, but the staff was very prompt in beverage service throughout the meal as well. I appreciated the attentiveness that the catering staff showed to all 110 guests throughout the evening. Overall, I cannot express how pleased I was with Rosemary's Catering. Because of Emily and her staff, the rehearsal dinner was as special as I wanted it to be, and more! Thank you Emily and Rosemary's Catering for a fabulous event! I will definitely call on you again!

solutely amazing- we had stations and they were so helpful helping us custo,I've the menu to get exactly what we wanted...and it was sooooo good. We heard from everyone that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. The team helped to make my reception look so beautiful... From the gold rimmed China to the massage 4 sided bar ....it was a site to see! And it was beyond anything I'm ould,have imagined. The ladies are wonderful and very helpful and patient ....I completely recommend Rosemary's catering....go to a tasting! You will be sold!!!!!

I was able to drop off personal items for the reception (frames, the guest book, etc.) the day before and they set everything up for me. Rosemary's does all the catering for UT, so they know how to feed hundreds of people at one time. Obviously the most important thing a caterer does for you is your food and Rosemary's did a phenomenal job. I've been receiving many compliments on how good our food was, and I promise I am not fishing for them :) I would absolutely recommend Rosemary's for a wedding reception!

I heard from many of the guests that it was the best food they had ever had a wedding and they they helped themselves to seconds and thirds! I have A LOT of food allergies and I'm also a vegetarian, so I am used to having very few options, but Emily went out of her way to make sure I had a special items that I could enjoy at the tasting and a special plate at the wedding. Emily was flexible, easy to reach and provided exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend her and Rosemary's catering.

The wait staff was amazing – one server going so far as to pack an entire to-go meal after my mom fell and had to go to the emergency room. The food was delicious – easily the best catered food I’ve had – tasted like ordered restaurant food instead of mass produced line food. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an on-site caterer.

Everyone loved the cheesecake bar we had, which included fruit, chocolate, and other syrups to top off with. We were also able to bring our own liquor, but they provided the bartending services, which saved us a lot of money as well. Overall, amazing service, food and price. I couldn't have asked for a better caterer for our wedding!!

food was ever since. It's also usually followed by a remark about how food at weddings is usually king of bland, but how they went back for seconds. The staff was also amazing. There was one waiter who barely left the area that the wedding party was sitting at because he was constantly filling up water glasses. My glass never got down to an inch of water, which is saying something because I was gulping it down all night. They also provided a bartender and let us provide our own beer, wine, and champagne (I'm a bit of a beer snob, so I didn't want the average brews). The cost per head section I had to fill out lists them as in the $26-50 category, and I just wanted to say it was still under $30 a head. Their quality of food and attention to detail was just outstanding. If I could afford to throw catered parties all the time, I'd totally use them.

I honestly didn't even notice the staff. The bar tender was also fantastic. At the end of the night we began to run out of liquor (we provided our own alcohol, Rosemary's provided the bartender) and the bar tender made sure to hold on to my husband's favorite drink and kindly steered the other guests toward beer and wine. Most importantly, the food was the absolute best food we've ever had at a wedding (and we're not just biased because it was our own wedding). Our guests still cannot stop talking about how great the food was. I recommend that all brides or anyone looking for a caterer in the Austin area consider Rosemary's. They are fantastic and will not disappoint!

We also attended a couple of events that they hosted and everything was delicious! For our big day we went with passed hor d'oeuvres for the cocktail hour, and a pasta bar and a carving station for dinner. We love good home southern cooking so we didn't have anything too fancy but they have a way of making even the most simple meal something special and we got so many compliments about it! I highly recommend their services if it is within your budget!

The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because there were a few minor things that we were assured would happen during our wedding that did not: they were suppose to plate food for me and the groom so we wouldn't have to go through the buffet line (didn't happen), and few other minor things. Catering by Rosemary was also by far the most affordable caterer on the restricted list we had to choose from and this made our dream wedding happen.

They did our flowers, transportation and rentals - all absolutely gorgeous and all within our budget (and it was NOT a big budget). inens, etc. The food was amazing (our guest still talk about it) and they had a huge menu ranging from appetizers, to themed buffets, and to multiple course meals to choose from. After choosing our initial event menu, we ended up doing two food tasting and both times the head chef was present to hear our thoughts and give us suggestions. This was a really nice bonus and we truly enjoyed working with him to create a menu that our guest would love. The reason I didn't give Rosemary's Catering 5 stars is we had two issues with them. First Issue: We went thru three event coordinators between the time we booked their services up until about two months before the wedding. It made planning the reception a little stressful because I felt like I was having to bring each one up to speed (not necessarily start over, but I had to make sure we were all on the same page.) Second issue: A "Captain" is assigned to your event and they are in charge of maintaining the timeline and making sure the staff is ready for the champagne toast, cake cutting, etc. My groom and I arrived to the reception site later than we had planned which changed our schedule. Our "Captain" didn't communicate the changes in the schedule to me and I didn't feel like she adequately prepared her staff (they were not ready for our champagne toast). I myself am an event planner, I am a little controlling and I expect things to be perfect, so my expectations are probably different than a normal brides and most normal brides would probably not have noticed the things I noticed. Overall, I enjoyed working with Rosemary's Catering and I would recommend them to other brides. Overall, we thought the food was amazing and we throughly enjoyed working.
