Naoimh is an associate commerce editor at The Knot Worldwide creating shoppable articles for a variety of wedding-related topics and relationship milestones. She started her journey in 2019 writing storefront descriptions for vendors on both WeddingWire and The Knot. In 2020, she switched her focus to editorial content, helping couples and their loved ones find everything from on-trend wedding outfits to meaningful anniversary gifts.

Naoimh currently lives in a small seaside town amidst the rolling hills of County Donegal, Ireland. She spends her free time pretending to be a chocolate connoisseur, exploring the nearby beaches and scrolling through an endless feed of wedding dresses on Instagram.

Experience

For Naoimh, writing came first and weddings after. She joined The Knot Worldwide as a creative writing graduate and quickly fell in love with celebrating love. Naoimh built up her knowledge of the industry from a unique perspective, writing about the many diverse wedding vendors on The Knot's directory. Taking her passion for writing, finely honed online-shopping skills and newfound wedding expertise, she pivoted to writing helpful e-commerce content for couples celebrating their most special moments.

Education

Naoimh graduated with a degree in English Literature and German from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She also studied creative writing, testing the waters of poetry, non-fiction, playwriting and more. During her third year, Naoimh wrote an entire novel as part of her creative writing project and also spent a semester studying in the beautiful city of Leipzig, Germany.

Important Questions from The Knot

More or less any version of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love."

Any time the question of a celebrity guest comes up in any capacity, I have to say Taylor Swift. And now that she's written the perfect first dance song with "Lover," there's really no reason to consider anyone else.

Best wedding after party snack?

You can never go wrong with something warm and cheesy. Pizza slices are the way to go.
