Juan ans Hedeih are a MUST hire duo for your event. My husband and I had not hired a day of coordinator, and Hedeih stepped up beyond respectfully and professionally to keep track of our wedding timeline and ensure everything was running smooth. Juan put on the BEST vibes with the music!! He had our guests old and young dancing and getting down! A week later we are still getting compliments about the music and how it was “the best wedding ever”. These two not only did music, and coordinating, but they also took amazing BTS video content. I can’t say how thankful I am for these two being a part of our big day. We had the best start to a beautiful life together!

Juan & Hedieh (DJ Equis services) are absolutely fantastic! You NEED them for your event. From the beginning, they were extremely communicative, professional & friendly, it was like talking to friends that we’ve had for years. Prior to the wedding, there was multiple check ins on music, timelines & recommendations which was extremely helpful! On wedding day, they went the extra mile for us to make sure everything was perfect, it all went extremely smoothly. Hedieh made sure to check on us on numerous occasions to make sure we were eating, staying hydrated & having fun. Our dance floor was FILLED the entire night, we had guests saying that they were trying to leave the dance floor to refill their drinks but couldn’t because each song was such a hit. We can’t thank Juan & Hedieh enough for making our night so fun, it was everything we wanted!

DJ Equis was so awesome! We had the best time on our dancefloor and hearing all our special songs throughout the day because of him!! Great transitions for songs/ genres- he played all the wedding hits, and then some great party anthems. They were so great to work with! We totally wish we could host another big party just to work with them again! He and his wife work as a team to ensure you have a seamless experience throughout your whole wedding planning process. They met with us multiple times before our wedding to make sure they knew what songs needed to be played and when, how they can incorporate music into your ceremony, and what vibe we wanted for our dancefloor. The equipment worked great throughout the whole day (The portable speaker for the outdoor ceremony, and the portable microphones that we used for the ceremony and speeches *our videographer said it was the best he had ever seen for ceremonies*), and the primary sound system was great! His set up is very professional looking.

They are a dream team with Hedieh checking in and making sure our needs and wants were met and DJ Equis being an absolute pro at what he does. Our guests have not stopped raving at what a good DJ we had. We had a mixed wedding and they ensured all cultures were represented on the dance floor and got everyone to dance together. I am so happy that we went with DJ Equis for our outdoor wedding. From the first video conference to last moments during our sendoff every detail was handled professionally and with care. I always felt taken care of throughout the engagement and was always able to reach them via text. During the wedding you never know how your guests will feel, but since we had music that DJ Juan adjusted based on the vibes I could keep my focus on enjoying our day and mingling with our close friends and family. To start, they replied to my inquiry same day (which is so rare with wedding vendors!!) and then after our first zoom meeting I instantly felt they were amazing people! From that point on, the booking process & music selection process was such a breeze & so easy! They truly have the best interest of the couple at heart and you can feel that they love what they do!! They offer so much more than just DJ services/MC for your event and truly make sure the whole night is just perfect! Text check ins before & after the wedding- just genuine caring! Juan and Hedieh make such a great team (and couple :D). They are both so thoughtful and understand how exciting and sometimes stressing a wedding can be, so they were constantly checking on us throughout the day. Super attentive to our needs and music preferences throughout the entire process, and very organized when it comes to walking us through the timeline. We decided to have a separate parents entrance during the ceremony literally the day before the wedding, and Juan accommodated final changes to the timeline very professionally. 10/10 recommend!

Juan knows what he’s doing! Our friends and family had such a wonderful time. Him and Hedieh were open to all of our preferences, limitations, and dreams for the day!! They do this because they LOVE it and that is so clear to see. Hedieh checked in with us throughout the night, making sure we had everything we needed and the coordinators were on time. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ pairing than Juan and Hedieh. From day one they were so communicative and ready to make sure our goals were met and that we were a good fit. Communication was always so easy and laid back. They even worked with us on our budget which we appreciated so much. When it came to the big day Hedieh was amazing at coordinating during the ceremony and reception and made sure to check in with us throughout the night and even offered to get us things if we needed it, just so beyond helpful. Juan was amazing, like seriously AMAZING at gauging the crowd and making sure the songs made everyone get on the dance floor and stay there. It was a blast all night and the dance floor was never empty which is what we wanted for our night. Overall our experience with Equis was 10/10 and we will recommend them to anyone who is looking for an amazing DJ experience. Our experience with Juan and his beautiful wife Hedieh was wonderful from the very first message. He answered every question I had and was very responsive. When I had questions he took the time to listen to what I wanted for our daughters dream wedding and assured me he wants to make it her best day also. The week before the wedding he talked to my daughter about all her hopes and wants for the ceremony and reception, he listened and put her at ease and she came to me in tears about how happy she was and he's got this and I am so relaxed and excited. They both have great attention to detail and are extremely professional. He followed through with all of our music requests and gave us very helpful advice throughout the planning process, the wedding went flawless. Everyone had a great time dancing and he kept the party going the whole night. My daughter and all her friends and family danced from the first song nonstop through to the last one of the night. I feel I have to mention this was a dry wedding, (no alcohol). He did such and amazing job feeling the crowd and keeping them on the dance floor. I hate writing a novel but they deserve it. They are such an amazing husband and wife team and Juans wife Hedieh came and found me before the wedding to introduce herself and I was a mess and my daughter was nervous and worried we were running late and she talked to me with such kindness and compassion and said take me to your daughter. She walked up to her and jumped right in and completely put her at ease. My mommas heart was overwhelmed with gratitude for her. To be honest she continued throughout the whole wedding like this and she was there for anything I needed, she was my secret wedding day planner. What dj company does that? They do. They became family by the end of the night and we will be forever grateful for them on making my baby girls most important day PERFECT! Thier wedding was perfect and Juan and Hedieh were one of the biggest parts and the reason why.! I highly recommend them and wish I could give 100 out of 10. You would never regret hiring this amazing power couple with Equis Dj service and I have no doubt you will agree.

I booked Juan about 6 weeks out from my multi-ethnic wedding. I’m clueless about music and at the same time very particular about it. I was able to give him a list of 25 songs and he extrapolated that into an amazing playlist for my wedding. He was also completely willing to add in Bollywood songs as well. Not only does he come with advanced equipment and fun lighting, but he also mixes the songs on the spot! Every song he chose was an absolute banger! He kept close communication with me throughout the process and was very easy and accommodating to work with. His wife (Hedi) is also a wedding/day-of coordinator which was a huge plus. My coordinator was new to the job so Hedi was able to fill in the gaps where my coordinator may have lacked experience. She saved us so many times throughout the night and kept us on schedule. Their expertise is clear. These two contributed to the best day of my life and I hope I get to work with them again someday.

Hands down the best DJ for your event. He 110% understood the assignment and made the party hop all night long. Song selection was awesome, mixes were smooth. Top notch professionalism. As for the ceremony for our wedding music was timed perfectly, microphones were clear and crisp. I wouldn't look any further you have for your DJ.

I think the strength of this DJ duo comes from them being a married couple themselves, the know exactly what a wedding needs. Our wedding party was a combination of my wife's Hispanic family, and my White family, and this team found the perfect blend of music that had everyone dancing, it made the night perfect! We realized during the ceremony that the dance stereo set up was in a different area from the dinner area, but Juan had brought a backup phone loaded with our playlists, and was able to hook up to the dining area's speakers, a seriously smooth last minute save! You are in good hands with them! ❤️

I’m going to start off by saying I would hire them again immediately. Juan and his wife were absolutely amazing! Working with them was so easy and stress free. I never had to worry about anything because the communication was always there . The day of the wedding he was on time and was dressed in the appropriate attire. They were patient and respectful with my family’s craziness. The music was exactly what I was looking for on my wedding day. The transition between songs were so smooth it was satisfying. For my walk into the reception I was a little nervous that our last name wouldn’t be pronounced correctly because a lot of people say it wrong, but Juan NAILED IT. That was really important to me and he delivered.

DJ Equis was great! We really wanted to look for a DJ who not only played great music and was a great emcee for our wedding, but we also wanted someone who was bilingual (English/Spanish) and understood the types of festivities we would have at our Mexican wedding. Since the beginning, DJ Equis was great with communication back and forth regarding what we were looking for. He helped relieve the extra stress that came with planning a wedding. We would recommend DJ Equis for weddings as well as any special event that you may have. He provides great music and creates a great atmosphere!

We used Equis Entertainment as our DJ and he absolutely MADE our wedding!!! From the pre wedding songs, to the songs for the bridal party to walk out, our ceremony songs, and the after party, all of it was PERFECT!! The guests were kept upbeat and stayed dancing, the energy was amazing. Everyone danced the entire night and it was like a fairytale. Equis Entertainment is the whole package and then some!!
