Captain Dan and his crew were simply amazing to work with from the start. They ensured our day went off without any trouble and that we were able to enjoy our time. The boat was beautiful, the catered food was amazing, the bar service was great, and the officiant they provided was wonderful. If we could give them a higher star rating than 5, we certainly would. Thank you Captain Dan and your crew for making our day absolutely perfect!!
I can not thank Captain Dan and the crew enough for all they did to make a perfect Ceremony site and Reception venue. They went above and beyond and were so flexible, easy to get a hold of and responsive to any question or need I had! Like specific wine, moving tables and letting us set up the day prior. (Friday Wedding, so that helped!)
Every one of our guest thought it was a perfect venue and enjoyed seeing St. Paul from the river.
I highly recommend for a wedding for under 100 people. We had 80 people and it was perfect size. Wish I could post picture!
My husband Joe and I were married on the Magnolia Blossom in Sept. 2012. Capt. Dan went above and beyond for us. The food was amazing!, and we also hosted a keg. The price was right, and we did our research for boat weddings in the Twin Cities. We only did a 4 hour cruise, and I do wish that we had a longer cruise. We had our first dances on the boat as well. It was a perfect evening. We are thinking about renting it out again for our 5 year anniversary next year!
We wanted something different for our wedding venue and casual, and Magnolia Blossom Cruises fit the bill. Captain Dan was so easy to work with and accommodating. Only thing: we should have booked the cruise for a longer period of time; it went too fast.
Magnolia Blossom uses Tinucci's catering:(does not provide wedding cake) Since we had a casual affair in the early afternoon we didn't want a heavy meal so we opted for the Grand Buffet, basically lunch meats; came with 2 salads, a potato and pasta, which were awesome. My husband only likes his sister's potato salad but he "loved" this I was surprised. The spread was so good, we recieved many compliments from our guests.
