DJ Shaggi has been serving weddings for over a decade. He began entertaining crowds in Massachusetts in 1999 at various clubs before moving exclusively to wedding celebrations. Since moving to the DMV area, this entertainer has had the honor of providing fitting melodies at several unforgettable events. he area to work dates that he is unavailable. He hooked us up with DJ DoubleU for our ceremony sound and reception dancing. DJDoubleU did a wonderful job with setting up the sound so that everyone could hear the outside ceremony. He also stuck to our chosen playlist while mixing in songs that got everyone out on the dance floor which is ultimately what we wanted. I would highly recommend Rock-Da-House Entertainment- they are reasonably priced, professional, and good at their craft.

He rolled with a BIG change of plans - due to rain, we had to get him involved with the audio for the pre-ceremony time when guests were waiting, and with the high-stakes wedding ceremony music, none of which was supposed to be his responsibility. ur wedding day. In addition, given both the evolving COVID restrictions at the time, and how far away we lived from Charlottesville, DJ Shaggi was very responsive to any changes we had. I may be biased since it was my wedding, but DJ Shaggi was one of the best DJs I have ever heard play and is extremely knowledgeable. He did an outstanding job as an emcee, effectively miced an outdoor wedding, coordinated with our livestream team (as a last minute ask), and kept the dance floor lit (literally and figuratively) the whole evening. I have been entertaining since I was in high school and I did my very first paid gig for the Boys & Girls club in Massachusetts back in 1999 while I was an undergrad at UMass. Then it was proms, private events, clubs and the occasional weddings. I have lived in Charlottesville, VA since 2007 and used to play at local downtown clubs until 2012 when I switched to doing weddings exclusively. Recently moved to the DMV area and looking forward to working with new clients and couples.
