Weddings by Leslye + Katelyn is a mother-daughter team, that plans weddings from Full Service Coordination to Month-of Management and is based in Orange County, California and Portland, Oregon. We have been helping couples like you plan their weddings in OC since 2010. Katelyn brought her wedding knowledge to the PNW in 2020 and has loved every minute of it.
Our team of experienced coordinators holds a passion for giving couples their dream day. They will strive to make your journey to the altar a joyful experience from start to finish.
Since we are a family owned business, as soon as you say I DO to our contract you instantly become part of the family. We are all in this together and we will support you along the way, ensuring you are getting the absolute best! We will be your biggest supporter and advocate. On your wedding day you won't have to worry about a thing. We will manage the entire day, making sure no details are missed.
Every package is priced per the couples needs. No couple is the same and no package is the perfect fit. We will make sure we are there to help you with what you need and give direction where it is needed. My dream wedding happened about two weeks ago in Salem, Oregon, so I recently had the pleasure of working with Katelyn from Weddings by Leslye and Katelyn for my Italian garden inspired wedding, and I can confidently say she exceeded all my expectations. From our first consultation to the big day, Katelyn was a constant source of support and creativity.
One of the standout qualities of Katelyn is her accessibility. Whether I had a question, needed advice, or just wanted to bounce around ideas, she was always just a message/phone call away. This level of communication made the planning process not only stress-free but genuinely enjoyable. This was my biggest concern as a first time bride because I was uncertain about what the process would be like.
Katelyn's expertise was present through every detail of our wedding. She helped bring my vision to life with her thoughtful suggestions and keen eye for design. The floral arrangements and decor perfectly captured the romantic, garden-inspired theme I envisioned. One thing I would recommend would be to also ask Katelyn to help plan the bridal shower. I did that and it helped me have peace of mind seeing an event done first before the wedding; this way we weren’t “officially” doing our first event together on the big day.
If you’re looking for a wedding planner who is dedicated, responsive, and extremely talented, I highly recommend Katelyn and her team. They truly made my dream wedding a reality, and I could not be happier with my decision of having Katelyn plan the most important day of my life!!!

Our wedding was nothing short of magical, and it's all thanks to Lesley & Katelyn. The planning package I got, included a day-of bridal consultant, Sandy. One of the kindest people I’ve ever met!
The planning process with Lesley & Katelyn was seamless and enjoyable. They were so accessible and patient. They listened intently to our vision, offering creative suggestions and practical solutions that perfectly matched our style and budget. The vendors they recommended were phenomenal. Every detail was meticulously organized, from the stunning floral arrangements to the flawless execution of the timeline. Their attention to detail was truly impressive, and it was clear that they had a deep understanding of what it takes to make a wedding exceptional.
On the big day, Lesley, Katelyn, & Sandy provided a calming presence, effortlessly handling any hiccups that arose with grace and professionalism. I don’t think there were many, but maybe it’s because they are so good, that I never knew about them. They coordinated with all our vendors smoothly, ensuring that everything ran on time and according to plan. We were able to relax and savor every moment, knowing that everything was under control. IT WAS THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES!
Our guests are still raving about the beautiful decor, the flawless flow of events, and the overall ambiance of the day. It was the perfect celebration of our love, and we owe it all to Lesley & Katelyn. Their passion, creativity, and DEDICATION made our wedding day unforgettable, and we couldn’t have asked for better partners in this journey. Her guidance through finding the vendors, being the liaison between vendors and my daughter, her gentle reminders along the way and meetings with us at the vendors or on site were greatly appreciated.
Leslye had a very kind and caring manner, yet assertive when needed and always so positive which kept the bride calm. Day of the wedding was just perfect with their guidance and attention.

Being 8 months pregnant and on a hot day added an extra layer to my wedding day! Leslye and Katelyn helped coordinate my son and new daughter-in-law's wedding three weeks ago and it was spectacular! Lesley and Katelyn were extremely communicative, informative, responsive, helpful, caring, and calm. They had incredible referrals for flowers and photographers/videographers. The "sneek peek" pictures that my son and daughter-in-law have received are outstanding. Leslye and Katelyn lead my son and daughter-in-law through the whole process effortlessly. And the day of the wedding was flawless. Leslye and Katelyn and their team took care of everything. We all just got to enjoy the day without a care in the world. Being out of state for an OC wedding, my husband and I requested the Partial Planning package, which was perfect for us. Leslye connected us with the right vendors, answered all of our questions (email/text) quickly, and brought our vision to life with her great experience working with the venues.
What I loved about Leslye is that despite the vast experience with venues, I never felt like I was burdening her with questions, even though I’m sure she has been asked them so many times. In addition, she truly made our wedding feel unique to us, and helped us connect our ideas to our overall theme.

Leslye and her team were absolutely incredible throughout our whole process. Throughout the entire process, she made our wedding planning seamless keeping us in the loop on all important dates, giving us her recommendations on vendors, and having regular calls with us every step of the way. On the day of, her team was absolutely incredible and kept our wedding running like a well-oiled machine.

We hired Katelyn as a full-service planner. My partner and I wanted someone who had experience with a Western-Indian fusion wedding. Katelyn has had years of experience in the wedding industry along with her mother. After our first call, I knew we had to choose this awesome mother-daughter duo. Katelyn was very responsive from the beginning! She is a very warm, kind, fun, and so easy to get along with! Katelyn was on top of everything! She met with us in person, called, texted, emailed all of our updates, and was there for every question we needed answered! Communication and being on the same page with all the vendors is key to putting on a big event. Katelyn dealt with all of our vendors, made sure to keep track of all the payments, and ensured the wedding day went seamlessly. We would definitely recommend Katelyn and her team for all your wedding needs!

Leslye was seriously our saving grace. Without Leslye, there would have been no wedding. As a bride, I was so stressed out about all the details wedding entail, and Leslye completely took it off my shoulders. My wedding day was amazing because of Leslye and we couldn’t be more grateful!
In March of 2022, we began planning Julie and Michael’s March 2023 wedding. The venue had been selected and I contacted three wedding planners. The first one said she couldn’t talk to me for a week; the second one couldn’t talk for 10 days, and the third one said to call in the morning. She was Leslye and that is exactly how responsive she and her team were throughout the whole planning process. Leslye gave me countless referrals and advise. Meeting with her and Mary was like reuniting with long lost friends. Their planning, attention to detail and endless enthusiasm made a somewhat stressful time more enjoyable. The day of the wedding was absolutely seamless and stunning. The team of Leslye, Mary, Carolyn and Izzy kept everything flowing and even our guests commented on how wonderful and professional they all were. The best wedding planners ever! I am so blown away by how organized, efficient, beautiful and FUN our wedding day was. From the first phone call with Leslye, we instantly knew she was going to take care of us and make our wedding special. She was always available for questions and referrals. She works with the best vendors in OC so our team was perfection from the photographer to the desserts. We worked with Leslye and her team for the full year before our wedding and I always felt supported by her and knew she was always available for any questions I had. The day of ran so smoothly and we had not just Leslye, but also Mary AND Sandy on the day off! 3 amazing planners, what more could you ask for?! My husband and I didn't have to lift a finger and really got to enjoy our moment. My venue recommended I work with Leslye for my Indian wedding and I'm SO glad I took their advice. Leslye is the best. She's truly a professional – oozing positivity and willing to work with you on anything and everything.
Her communication with my family and vendors was seamless. She was always one step ahead of me. Thank god it didn't rain on my wedding day, but it was supposed to and a week in advance Leslye put together some awesome Plan B and even Plan C strategies. Her proactivity was deeply appreciated. Leslye has a vast knowledge of the industry and is truly an expert. She helped me find furniture rentals in Orange County just a month or so prior to the wedding -- even after a few companies told me they couldn't work with my budget. Leslye had a back-up plan for everything. Lastly, her team is truly phenomenal and so so kind. On the wedding day I didn't have to worry one bit and felt so taken care of. My whole family agreed and I got so many compliments the day after the wedding from guests who said the whole event ran super smoothly. Work with Leslye! You won't regret it :)

I hired Katelyn for my day of coordinator, one of the best decisions I made. She actually started working with us a month before the wedding to help bring everything together, which I really appreciated. Katelyn was wonderful to work with, responsive, and has a wealth of experience and ideas. Day of I knew that everything would be taken care of so I could just focus on the party. Highly recommend!
We used Leslye and her team for our wedding at Surf & Sand in Laguna Beach. We were located out of state and Leslye made the planning process incredibly easy. Leslye was always super quick to respond, and entertained all my questions, gave me information on what I should expect regarding vendor choices, and what most other brides do/ or have to consider. She often felt like my life raft in the overwhelming wedding industry!!
Due to COVID affecting so may weddings, Leslye was unable to actually coordinate our day, but Mary and Sandy were so amazing. They were both positive and relaxed, and handled the day with grace and ease.
It was so awesome to come into my wedding day feeling like I could relax because I knew Mary had everything under control. Her professionalism also put my mom and mother in law at ease.. which always makes a day like that go smoothly! :)
Katelyn was the best decision myself and my husband made for our wedding day. She matched our energy and excitement for our special occasion and made planning a breeze! I originally thought I could do everything myself, but I am so happy I decided to bring Katelyn on as she brought so much knowledge and creativity to my ideas. She was wonderful with our vendors, quick at responding to any questions/concerns that we had, set up meetings and onsite visits to go over the plans, and always kept a positive attitude and smile on her face from start to finish. Our wedding went so smooth which was a huge weight lifted off of our shoulders and allowed us to enjoy every moment without having to stress. She was a dream to work with and would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a well versed wedding planner!
Leslye was huge in giving me peace of mind the week of my wedding - I knew she was on top of contacting and coordinating with the vendors and that she would get everything set up beautifully at the reception. She was easy to talk to and very responsive to emails and texts. We also really loved Izzy, her assistant at the reception - she was efficient, communicated clearly, and organized, and even helped out when the photographers needed some assistance in getting certain shots. Plus she took some awesome photos of us using my husband’s phone while the photographers were doing their thing.

Leslye and her whole team made my daughter’s wedding day everything she envisioned and dreamed about. From the beginning of our planning process, it was a pleasure working with Leslye. She kept us on task, provided incredible vendor recommendations and ideas when we needed them.
Accessibility was important to us, and Leslye was always prompt to return emails, texts, and calls which gave us peace of mind.
6 days prior to the wedding date, due to COVID, we moved our reception outdoors, which created a lot of changes and stress. Leslye and her team made the transition seamless.
The day of Mary, Sandy, and Kristin were absolutely amazing. Everything looked perfect, ran smoothly, and the best part was: we didn’t have to think or stress about any detail. We could truly enjoy every moment of this perfect day.
Our friends and family are still commenting on what a great wedding it was, and how much fun we all had. A lot of this was thanks to Leslye and her team - we cannot thank you enough!

Our daughter and son in law had a very particular wedding. Both the bride and groom lived in Texas and the wedding took place in Orange County California. We also had the need for a fusion of different cultural traditions. Leslye and her team took the time to work with both families to make sure that the proper facilities were found and all needs were met. She was extremely patient yet kept us on task so no detail was overlooked. Leslye and her team executed a flawless event and we got to enjoy our daughter’s wedding day.

We hired Leslye and her team for our wedding held in December 2021. In one sentence: her leadership was incredibly professional and comforting and we could not have done it without her -- if you hire her, you will have a fantastic wedding experience. Leslye was always available and responsive to our many questions. We did not have much experience with weddings in general, and Leslye was there every step of the way to help and guide us. Our daughter recently got married and I can't even imagine the wedding day without Weddings by Leslye! Leslye and Sandy were very professional and EXTREMELY helpful!!! They were very organized and set up the ceremony, reception and were very helpful with our the wedding party and the photographer! Leslye was very easy to communicate with and was very available during our planning process! Such a great value for all they provide!!!

I have to remind myself that Leslye isn't actually my friend... she's just an amazing wedding planner. She managed our 2020 reschedule with total ease and introduced us to our DREAM venue we didn't know existed. She also was also very active in negotiating our venue down on ticky-tacky additions (chairs, draping, etc), protecting our budget. Her vendor connections made the difference! We were able to forgo some of the more traditional stuff, like a big wedding cake and swap it for an ice cream sandwich bar. She managed our families seamlessly and her day-of team is a DREAM — especially Izzy. Leslye made every conversation fun and was really invested in making our day magical.
Notable aspects of the day: 160 guests. Calamigos Ranch, Malibu. 2020 - 2021 reschedule. Live band (ceremony + cocktail hour), photo + video, plated dinner, outfit change, stepparent involvement, 16-person bridal party.
BONUS: Leslye actually planned my best friend's wedding as well, so I got to see her in action on a different event. As an Indian wedding, she managed even more vendors, distinct religious ceremonies, live animals, artists, a robust media team, AND a day-of vendor conflict. The whole weekend went off seamlessly, and the bride never noticed any issues because Leslye solved them quickly. We are both active members of the Leslye Fan Club.

Katelyn and Leslye are both some of the most kind, genuine, and calm people you’ll meet. Katelyn was the most wonderful, professional, and incredibly responsive planner I’ve worked with. She not only responded to my every annoying email but also CAME THROUGH with amazing vendors. Truly, her vendor recommendations were priceless. And she was so incredibly helpful navigating all of the issues that will absolutely come up while planning a wedding during COVID. The week of the wedding I was able to be present with my family from out of town and not worry about all the little details because I knew Katelyn had it handled. Katelyn was amazing and such a crucial part of our wedding! Even though I only utilized her day-of services, I felt like she was there as a resource throughout my planning process and was always there to answer my random questions and requests. She sent out our final timelines to vendors multiple times in the weeks prior and was on top of all parties the day of. I also should mention that I did an excessive amount of DIY for my wedding and needed a ton of help the day of, but all I had to do is give her a general summary of how I wanted things to go and she ran with it! Everything was perfect and I could not have done it without her. She is equal parts experienced, personable, and professional - all necessary qualities to have as a coordinator for such an important event!
Working with Leslye was IDEAL! She was incredible from day 1, all the way to the end of our big day. I personally struggled with the whole wedding planning process, but Leslye took so much of the headache out of it. Day of, she managed all the details for vendors, schedule/flow, communication between bridal party and DJ, and essentially made the whole day seamless. She took all the stress out of the day and made it so my husband and I could really experience, enjoy, and savor every moment of the best day ever. 100% will recommend Weddings by Leslye to every bride I know!
I had an AMAZING experience with Leslye, my wedding got move three times due to COVID - and to multiple venues - and i live in a different state- without Leslye I honestly dont know what i would have done. She made wedding planning a breeze, she had the venue set up perfectly (exceeded all my expectations), and the night was the best one of our lives! It would not have been the same without Leslye, do yourself a HUGE favor and hire this wonderful woman for your future nuptials.
Leslye and her team were absolute lifesavers and helped make our wedding day the BEST day ever. After postponing our wedding twice and moving it from New York to California due to COVID, Leslye took what had been a hectic and stressful process and made wedding planning fun and exciting again. She was always accessible and had amazing ideas that were major hits with our guests, and she remembered and took care of all the details that I would have otherwise missed. On the day of the wedding, I didn't have to worry about a thing--Leslye and her team had it all taken care of and managed the flow of the day with the utmost professionalism while also being fun. The day turned out better than I could possibly have imagined, and that was thanks in no small part to Leslye and her team. Leslye was so amazing to work with from day 1. Upon meeting her, I could tell she had so much experience in the business and she guided me flawlessly along my planning journey, I could not have done it without her. She recommended great vendors and kept me on track with my timeline. She has a can do attitude and really alleviates all your stress from planning with her calmness. We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and what could've been a very stressful shift was anything but with the help of Leslye. Then you bring in Mary, her amazing partner! Leslye did my wedding back in 2012. Let me just say that if you are looking for a wedding coordinator, stop looking. You found the best. Leslye leaves no detail untouched. Everything went perfectly (except for my guest that got too drunk haha). She is a pleasure to work with and recommended some fantastic vendors too. I worked in Country Clubs for a long time so I've seen hundreds of weddings. Leslye is honestly the best I've seen. Just hire her already.
