Planning a large event does not come naturally to me. After months of being engaged, but not planning a lick and feeling totally stalled in where to begin, we hired All Things Planned to do the full planning wedding package. One of the first th...ings I noticed was how well organized Amy Rodriguez, the owner of All Things Planned, was. What surprised me more was how much I enjoyed being around her. Amy is stellar at working with brides and is generally just a cool cat. Your monthly meetings with her will not only be productive, but fun.
Amy is a saint. There were times when I know fully I was being bridezilla level difficult or obstinately undecided on wedding elements and she took my hand (metaphorically) and helped me navigate all and any wedding decisions. When I couldn’t decide on wedding décor, she produced trendy ideas. When music had me stumped, she offered suggestions. She never once showed impatience with me. She has a very useful wealth of knowledge about vendors, which proved to be immensely helpful. Oftentimes she would be the go between with vendors and me, which alleviated much of the burden of keeping track of all the little details and payments.She exudes kindness and a love for her career. One of the many things Amy excels at is communication. She was quick to respond to emails and she or her team would thoroughly research anything I mentioned I was interested in. She made charts to compare prices and services. I always felt like I was making smart and informed decisions with Amy at the helm.
One of Amy’s team in particular truly impressed me with going above and beyond, all while having a wonderful attitude. Julianne took care of several of the wedding details that would have been very stressful if they had been added to my plate. She brought almost all of my wedding décor to the venue and picked up my flowers the day of. She met with me outside of her normal work hours to pick up decorations and was easy to reach when I needed something or had questions.
The wedding day itself went seamlessly and nothing, I repeat NOTHING, went wrong. All Things Planned is largely to thank for this. The All Things Planned team were kind, courteous, and a source of constant positivity. They set up all of the decorations in the morning and I did not have to lift a finger. This allowed me to relax as much as I could and focus on cherishing my wedding day. During the day they made sure the groom and I were fed, had drinks of our choice, and sent the leftover cake and food home with the right people. At the end of the night they removed all of the décor as well. I had a stress free wedding day where I could take in the moment and create those fond memories because of All Things Planned hard work.
