Tammy was amazing! She did a two tier and 200 cupcakes for my wedding on 5/11/19 The cupcakes were amazing and she made my idea for the cake come to life!

Tammy was absolutely wonderful! She is so upbeat and real fun to meet with, and the cakes are delicious! We would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Everything about our cake exceeded our expectations! Tammy went above and beyond to make sure our cake was beautiful and it was so incredibly delicious! We received many compliments. Can't wait to think of an excuse to order another cake from her :)

Tammy was INCREDIBLE! First, she is the sweetest woman and genuinely wants you to be happy with your wedding cake! Second, her cakes are DELICIOUS! We had a three tier semi naked ombré cake and it was exactly what I had hoped for! All three tiers were different flavors (chocolate w/raspberry, vanilla w/chocolate chip, vanilla w/Oreo) and all three tasted SO good! She even made us an anniversary cake to take home too! Tammy did an amazing job on our wedding cake! We had met with her several times, and she was very helpful in decisions with designs and had a lot of great suggestions. She was a pleasure to work with and a really nice person. During our reception my husband and I just stood there in awe of the cake. We couldn't believe how gorgeous it was! The cake was not only beautiful but delicious too! Our wedding guests kept telling us how much they loved it. Tammy made our vision of our dream cake a reality and we could not be more grateful!

Tammy was amazing to work with. She was very accommodating to meet up and test cakes, and we had a whole cake to test with! Her cakes were amazing and it was so hard to choose! Tammy was so amazing from start to finish!! Handled us and our cake very professionally and is amazing at her job!! She made everything so easy on us from tasting cakes to choosing a design. Our cake turned out to be so much more then I could have ever thought it would be and the taste was phenomenal! We had multiple different flavors and all were absolutely amazing! I found Cakes By Tammy on TK, and I'm so glad I chose her. She is super talented and really fun to work with. You can tell by the way she talks that she truly loves what she does. My (now) husband came with me to meet her for our cake tasting. He doesn't even really like cake that much and he loved hers. It was even better because she is priced on the low to middle range, so you don't compromise quality and price. It was awesome. We ended up doing a three tier cake and 100 cupcakes scattered around. It was lovely and we received a bunch of compliments. So delicious. I definitely recommend working with Tammy!! She was amazing!

Cakes by Tammy is amazing and I would definitely recommend her for anyone's wedding! Tammy was great to deal with and always responded quickly to my e-mails. She can do ANY design on a cake. She'll show you a lot she has done in the past, but if you like a particular design, just show her a picture and she can have it done! Her cakes are DELICIOUS! Everyone at our wedding said how wonderful our cake was! I love Cakes by Tammy and will definitely be making my sister use her for her wedding! She's great!

I can not thank Tammy enough for creating the wedding cake of my dreams! Not only did she make a gorgeous wedding cake but it was absolutely delicious. After tasting several of her cakes, my husband and I chose the white chocolate swirl batter with strawberry filling. My wedding guests are still talking about how amazing the cake was! I would recommend her to any bride as she takes the time to listen and is willing to create anything you want for a very reasonable price! She is the best :-)

I can not even begin to tell you how AMAZING Tammy from Cakes by Tammy is to work with. I looked at many different cake places and had high expectations for the cake I wanted. I wanted a truly custom cake with intricate designs. I went to a couple bakeries that wanted to charge insane amounts of money or just told me they could not do the cake I envisioned. When I met with Tammy she said she was excited to make the cake and hoped I chose the one I showed her. She was up for the challenge. The cake was the most BEAUTIFUL thing I have ever seen! I did not want to cut it! It was a 6 tier cake with a detailed silver dragee design and edible pearls. She had to apply the design with tweezers (I now feel bad about that). My reception venue second my opinions on the cake and said it was the best one they had seen. Not only was it the most beautiful cake ever but it also tasted delicious! You will not regret going with Tammy, she was amazing!

Our wedding cake was included in our wedding package from our venue, but we had a choice between two bakers. We chose Cakes by Tammy and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Tammy is such a pleasant person to work with! She listens to exactly what you want and gives it to you. Our cake was EXACTLY what we wanted! My husband doesn't even like cake, but he looooved Tammy's french vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling which we used in each tier of our wedding cake. I would definitely recommend Tammy to all my friends and family. Such a great person!

We had orginally booked with another baker who called me and said they could no longer do my cake. That was the best thing that could have ever happened. Tammy saved the day! She met with us at an agreed upon location and built the cake I had designed to the tee. It looked exactly like my picture. Not only that, she was much more affordable than any other baker I could find!

Thank you Tammy for making such a delicious wedding cake that my husband ate my piece while I wasn't looking!! When I met with Tammy she was friendly and fun to talk to. She was open to all of our ideas and answered a lot of our questions about what was or wasn't possible. When we showed her some inspiration photos, she immediately understood our vision. When we ran into a road block with the particular color we wanted, she went above and beyond to try and match it. She kept in contact with us and provided us with updates on her progress. When she wasn't able to match the color (it was truly just an odd color), she provided us with many options (even though it was only a week before the big day). Her efforts to make us happy were much appreciated. In the end, she created a beautiful cake that fit what we pictured in our minds AND tasted so very delicious! I can't wait to chow down on that anniversary cake (which she baked and boxed separately for us).

Tammy was wonderful to work with! I brought her multiple pictures of cakes I liked and she was able to design a custom cake from them! It was the cake of my dreams! The cake itself was moist and delicious! I have received so many compliments on the cake, it was definitely a hit! I would highly suggest using Cakes by Tammy!

This was one of my husbands only stern requests. He liked her cakes so much that he said he didn't even care what it looked like, because it tastes amazing. Thankfully, Tammy is amazingly talented and it looked beautiful as well. She was so accommodating and let us choose different fillings AND cake flavors for each of our 4 tiers. We showed her photos of colors and styles of decorating and she put them all together and made the most gorgeous ombre buttercream cake. She's a dream!

We used Cakes by Tammy for our wedding. Tammy is very easy to work with, she realizes it's your day and she will work with you so you get that perfect cake you've been dreaming of. our cake was delicious, and just beautiful! I would highly recommend using her.

I love cake. I could admittedly eat cake for every meal of the day and not get bored of it. Chocolate, white, red velvet, I don't care...put some icing on it and I'll eat it. Cake = life. Good cake = happiness :) So I know bad cake when I taste it. Tammy's cake is out of this world, insanely good! The father of one of our wedding guests is a baker and she RAVED about our cake from Tammy, so that is saying something! We opted for 2 tiers of chocolate and 2 tiers of white, both with regular buttercream. The chocolate was perfect! Not too rich but just the right chocolate flavor! The buttercream isn't too sugary or grainy like some can be. The design and the artistry was beautiful!!!! Tammy was incredibly easy to work with and super nice! She put my fiance and I at ease and I felt like we were friends, instead of bride and vendor. Her prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of work! Stop looking at other bakers right now and do yourself a favor and hire Tammy! You will not be disappointed!!!!

I'm sure there is a way to reply to reviews my brides have left me, but as most of you know, Im not very computer savvy! :) I just wanted to THANK all of you for such awesome reviews and tell you how much I appreciate them! On days I question why I do this for a living (you know, the one's where I added too much vanilla to the icing, or doubled the eggs in the cake mix on accident kind'a days), all I have to do is read some reviews from my former clients and I remember EXACTLY why!! Thank you all for making me a part of one of the most special day's of your life!

Tammy is by far the best wedding cake vendor in Pittsburgh! Even so, that I decided against our normal "go to" bakery and chose her. She was very pleasant and easy to work with. She will even provide you with 2 large cake samples to take home and taste with your family. No job is too difficult to her. I had a very elaborate 5 tier cake and it turned out just as the picture I showed her. I am beyond satisfied with her service. She is also very reliable and talented! Go Tammy!

Cakes by Tammy was a vendor that was offered through our wedding venue. We had her cakes before at a friends wedding so it was a no brainer that we were going to use her for our big day. She was able to take a picture of what we wanted and brought it to life. The cake was exceptional. The butter pecan with butter cream icing is to die for!!!

Tammy is by far the best baker I dealt with in my search for my wedding cake. After meeting with her, she insisted that we look at other vendors before making our choice. And after we did, there was no comparison! Tammy makes her clients feel special and appreciated...unlike other vendors that I dealt with that made me feel like I was a burden or taking up their time. She loved my ideas for my cake and incorporated all of them into what was a beauty! So many times at weddings the cake looks great but does not taste so good... Not with cakes by Tammy. It was wonderful! The cake had so much detail on it it was amazing. But the taste was even better!! It was cake that people actually wanted to eat!! She has so many designs to get ideas from and so many different flavors and fillings!

Tammy is a REALLY nice woman! Our consultation went so well... that she didn't need to contact us again until 1 month before the wedding. I showed her a photo of the cake I wanted. And I told her what flavors... and guess what??? She overly delivered! The cake was so good, that I had folks ask if they could have some of our anniversary cake! We had the carrot cake with the creme cheese filling and the buttercreme icing! Yummy! Her prices were the BEST that we found in the Pittsburgh region. And besides price, just having such a wonderful vendor would have justified spending triple the cost! You have to try Cakes by Tammy!

Tammy was the first wedding cake baker/decorator we met with. We had other appointments lined up but cancelled them as soon as we met with her. She has a wonderful portfolio and is willing to work with any ideas that you have to make your cake how you want it. She listened, made suggestions, and then fully exceeded my expectations. Our cake could NOT have turned out more perfect or delicious. She even suggested using sheet cakes and keeping them in the back to keep the price down! It’s been 3 months and we are still receiving compliments on it, know other friends who want to use her after tasting and seeing our cake, and have been told by multiple people it is the best cake they’ve ever had! I can’t wait until October so we can eat our anniversary cake! Many, many thank Tammy!!!

WOW is all I can honestly say! Tammy was more than a dream to work with, not to mention she created the wedding cake of our dreams!!! My husband and I had been engaged for 14 months and had time to carefully plan our entire wedding to not only fit our taste, but budget as well. From the moment I contacted Tammy I could tell I was going to love working with her. What a personality she has! She honestly is so awesome to work with. When you go through wedding planning you find that not everyone is truly passionate, however, with Tammy, her passion for wedding cakes is contagious! Initially, my husband and I had ideas of what we would want our wedding cake to look like, but it took time to look through photos online and develop ideas, etc. We also were not sure what flavors we would like. Tammy provides you with a couple complimentary cakes to try for your tasting, however we decided to try a few extra at a small cost of $5 each additionally. (Years back, I had the opportunity to try wedding cakes at a local bakery, before I knew of Tammy of course, for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary, you got to sample small pieces and it was fun, but that was it, only small samples). When we took the 4 small cakes home to my fiances house, we had a nice night of trying out flavors time and time again, and had enough to have both sets of parents come over an try in addition. As our wedding got closer we finally narrowed down a wedding cake design, based off one we found online but with some changes to our own taste. However, literally 4-5 weeks before our wedding, we had a change of heart on the cake we chose and found another dream cake. Tammy was more than accommodating! She was willing to meet with us again to discuss the new cake we sent to her, and discussed creative details that she had, in addition to our own. Not to mention, that this new cake we chose involved ordering tons of gum paste flowers for the top, rhinestones and a rhinestone band. As we walked into our reception my mouth literally dropped when I saw our 5 tier ivory cake, only something I could have dreamed of! My husband and I were speechless! Our guests couldn't get over how gorgeous the cake was (and I understand I am biased of my own wedding, but it truly was the most stunning wedding cake I have ever seen)! We chose the raspberry swirl cake with the raspberry filling for our cake and it was just amazing! Just as good as when we tasted it - and again we received comments from our guests on how much they enjoyed it, as well! In addition, it was mentioned by numerous people working there that the cake could not have been budget friendly, when in fact, it honestly was. Choosing Tammy to make our wedding cake was the best choice we could have made and we are so appreciate of the care she took in what she did for us. Even our photographer used her a few years back and has wonderful things to say! (Once our cake is up on her website, it is the 5 tier ivory/white cake with luster spray, large gum paste flower top, with a swirled rhinestone design on each tier, with a monogram S). My advise to any bride is to contact Tammy, she will work with any of our ideas, budget, etc. Your wedding is supposed to be the best day of your life and Tammy will make sure your cake truly lives up to your expectations. Tammy was absolutely wonderful! She took our idea and made it come to life. We had a Nintendo themed wedding cake in honor of my husband's love of video gaming. She took all of our ideas and brought them to life! Although we were working thru email and over the phone, she was very easy to get a hold of and she followed our every request! I absolutely recommend Tammy for your cake!! :) :)

Tammy did an AMAZING job on our cakes!!!! We reccommend her 110%! She did both out wedding cake and our groom's cake. The wedding cake was 4 layers and the grrom's cake was three. Each layer on both cakes was a different flavor and filling at no extra charge. She has a large selection of cake flavors and fillings. Everyone complimented how delicious it was. She makes them for larger pieces of cake so make sure whoever is cutting that is aware of it. They never cut our grooms cake but luckily we had a breakfast the next morning and ate some but there was still a ton left. That was the reception not Tammy. She was amazing! She uses a buttercream that looks like fondant so it tastes amazing (I am not a fan of fondant but she has it if u want it). USE TAMMY!!!! SHE IS AMAZING!!!

Tammy was AMAZING to work with. She listened to what I wanted for my Around the World Bridal Shower cake when I said I wanted a double stacked suitcase with international patches on it. I did want more patches but everyone LOVED it,including me. Our wedding cake blew me away! It was a 5 tiers high wedding cake with twigs, colorful birds, and autumn leaves...it went perfectly with our autumn themed wedding. Tammy is a joy to work with and I would absolutely recommend her to future clients!!! THANK YOU TAMMY!!!

All I can say is WOW. Tammy's cakes are to die for! Delicious, moist, perfectly whipped icing, and not only that - they are beautifully decorated. And she does everything herself. She is so talented. Throughout the months of planning, Tammy was easy to get in touch with via e-mail. She was receptive to modifications and changes to the decoration and/or cake flavors. On the day of the wedding, I was blown away by the gorgeous, DELICIOUS cake. Even our guests remarked on how amazing the cake was. Tammy was awesome to work with! The cake was so amazing and her prices were cheaper than other places we looked! She was so flexible and offered so many options. She met us by our house to bring mini cake samples so we could try a few options! Plus I kept chaning my mind and completely changed my cake design the week before the wedding and it was no problem and she let us change anything! The cake was so beautiful and was so yummy!!!!!! I forget how we came in contact with Tammy and her services but boy am I glad that we did! She is an amazing baker and really nice and easy to get along with! During our first meeting we had an idea of what we wanted our cake to look like and that changed about 10 times until our wedding! Each time Tammy was happy to change any of the details and even drew up some ideas for us! In the end we just gave her our wedding invitation and asked to draw something similar on the cake cascading up and it turned out BEAUTIFULLY!! My wedding cake was awesome. Tammy actually used the damask decals from our wedding invitations and iced them on the cakes. It fit our theme perfectly. When we first met, we didn't have any idea of we wanted our cake to look like. I gave Tammy some ideas of what we thought and she provide perfect ideas. We were able to brainstorm together to produce the cake. She was so helpful! By the way, the cake was delicious. It was moist and the icing was perfectly sweet. Great job!

We used Cakes by Tammy for our wedding at the Holiday Inn, Pittsburgh Airport. Tammy was amazing to deal with and made us a beautiful cake! My cake was included in the wedding package at the Embassy Suites and Tammy was a pleasure to work with. My husband and my mom went to the tasting session and everything was so good, it was hard to decide which flavors to choose. We went with 2 different flavors-Almond cake with cherry filling and spice cake with apple filling, as I thought this would go well with a fall wedding. We selected a 3-tier design with a purple and silver leaf design. It looked amazing and the cake tasted great.

Tammy was one of the easiest people to work with in my wedding planning. We set up a meeting where we got to taste flavors (which were all to die for) then we spent a few months emailing back and forth ideas. I would find a picture I liked and send it to her, and I loved that she always gave me her honest opinion. If she was going to have to charge me more to do something I wanted she let me know, then even made suggestions on how we could achieve a similar look without increasing my costs. She was so enthusiastic and attentive in all of her emails that I could tell she genuinely cares about her clients and her buisness. She created a unique cake for my wedding by combining details of all of the pictures I sent, incuding making the cake batter fun-fetti (something another baker told us he just would never do). Tammy is a joy to work with, and her cakes taste even better than they look. I highly reccomend using her for your wedding, you will not be disapointed.

Tammy was amazing! She is so very professional and easy to work with. My cake was a dream come true and very tasty!! I was married in Washington PA, but lived in Northern Virginia and she understood that I could only meet when I travelled back to PA. We communicated through phone and e-mail. Her cakes are just gorgeous, delicious, and well priced!! She also baked my best friend's wedding cake 5 years earlier and I loved that cake too. Tammy is also a wonderful person.

Above and beyond! We initially contacted Tammy to see if she had ever done an eggless wedding cake. She said that she hadn't, but she was willing to try it out. Over the next week she tried to do some eggless cakes that she was not happy with and said that she did not want to compromise the quality of the cake, which was fine with us. She was the ONLY cake vendor that was open to trying the eggless approach. We ended up just going with eggs in the cake. Tammy did our wedding cake as well as our brunch cake. Both which were amazing! The wedding cake was a 3 tier with paisley/henna design, and was of course very tasty. The brunch cake was travel themed. Vintage luggage with the labels for our honeymoon destination. It looked so awesome, also very tasty. Tammy was great to work with, very detail oriented. She was willing to do whatever it took. Tammy was wonderful, and you will not be disappointed.

I loved working with Tammy. I wanted a different design and it turned out exactly the way I wanted it. Communication was great. She got back to my in a timely manner. All of our guests loved the cake. It was a wonderful experience!
