o. Didn’t announce people coming into the reception. Didn’t announce a bouquet toss, forgot to announce the maid of honor and best man speech until he was reminded. When he was called out for his mistakes he yelled “f*ck it” in front of a bunch of guests. Beyond unprofessional. We paid extra for the co2 cannons and guns. ($750 each) for them to go off for “23 seconds to be exact”. By far the worst vendor I’ve ever worked with. He definitely shouldn’t be in the wedding industry, he should stick to Dj’ing at frat parties and dive bars.

concerns: I will address each of them one by one. First: No Spotify playlist was run during Julia’s wedding. Our program is actually incapable of running Spotify through our DJ controller. I have provided on our Youtube channel the entire raw footage of Julia’s open dance set during the wedding. There you will see the quick club style mixing we are known for. Definitely can’t be running a Spotify playlist at frat parties and Dive Bars Second: Proof was provided to Julia that the songs for people walking down the aisle to aligns exactly with the planning she filled out. This is verifiably incorrect. Third: This Julia is correct on. Julia had 11 different couples each walking to their individual song for her grand entrance. 5 minutes prior to her grand entrance, when I was getting everyone lined up, that order changed as a groomsmen in your wedding party had to take care of his child. I then rewrote everyone’s names down in the new order and happened to miss 1 couple. Every single other couple was announced appropriately outside of 1. This was a honest mistake. I am human, mistakes can happen. In regard to yelling “fuck it” that may be the most insane accusation I have ever heard. Fourth: There is no bouquet toss on either Julia’s wedding planners timeline or our planning. Even if on the day Julia decided to do the bouquet toss, I cannot do the bouquet toss if I am not given a bouquet for you to toss. It is also not the responsibility of the DJ to find a bouquet for you to toss. Fifth: I did not forget to announce your speeches. It is not the DJ’s job to run your timeline, it is your planners. This accusation isn’t even the responsibility of the DJ, myself or any DJ at any wedding. Fifth: The CO2 cannons and Handheld Blasters worked EXACTLY as intended and designed. Julia & her husband, Luc, used the Handheld Blasters and held down the trigger till the cylinders, holding the CO2, were empty. Exactly like shooting a machine gun holding down the trigger till out of ammo. They worked exactly as designed. Additionally on our Youtube page you can watch the video of them shooting it off with no problems and longer than 23 seconds as Julia incorrectly states here. In conclusion: If you are a future bride reading this and hesitant to book with us because of this review, I hope this response clears up some of your concerns. Outside of this review across The Knot, WeddingWire, Google, and any place anyone can submit a review for us, we do not have a single other non 5 star review. Hundreds of weddings and not a single other non 5 star review. Please ask me about this wedding if you are still concerned.

oc goes above and beyond. The professionalism, the attention to every detail, and of course the music. Im not sure if we interviewed him or he interviewed us but it seemed obvious it was a fit. We wanted a beautiful and formal ceremony but a bass-hitting dance party reception. He so clearly and professionally guided the guests from one thing to another as the timeline dictated. Kept everything upbeat and fun. And when it came time for open dance, he delivered! People were so energized by the music they couldn’t leave. The dance floor was crowded until grand exit. I could go on and on. But this is more than a DJ service. Their system allowed us to organize the entire wedding and allowed them to know how to best execute the plan. Our day couldn’t have been what it was without Andrew and Havoc!

One thing that stood out to me about the preparation process was his thoroughness in picking the types of music based on the age groups attending our wedding. He even cited a study that discusses music preferences and the different factors that affect it. At our wedding, he kept the crowd engaged with the song choices and everyone was dancing the entire time! It was exactly the party we always dreamt of! A lot of people also came up to us and said they enjoyed the music. He also kept the reception running on time with all of the important announcements, dances, etc. Definitely go with Andrew for your wedding or other event!!
