Hiring NYE for wedding coordination was the best decision we made as a couple. We started with the most informative call from Kristen and was then provided an incredibly detailed online planning tool. While we did not hire NYE for planning - the tool was the perfect guidance for us to ensure we were on track. Kristen was also helpful for us finding our vendors too! Three months out from our wedding, Zoé was assigned to our event and was the most reassuring coordinator ever. She was always calm, cool and collected - and handled all the communication to all the vendors. She coordinated our wedding so perfectly - there was so much going on in the background that we didn't know was happening until a few days later! We love Zoé so much and will protect her at all costs!

Our event planner/coordinator, Lizzie, was fantastic!! She made sure we got everything done that we had to do and she took care of absolutely everything else. It was so great to just enjoy the day and know that it would all be exactly as we wanted it.

Naturally Yours was one of the most seamless parts of our entire wedding. They gave us all the tools we needed to plan our day. And a few months before, we were assigned to a day of day of coordinator, where we had scheduled meetings every few weeks and she made sure we were on top of all of our stuff! Tempris was LITERALLY the best person I’ve ever met. She took over and started communicating with all of our vendors, which I appreciated so much. She was ALWAYS on top of everything. Solving problems before I even knew they existed. Our day felt like it was just as important to her as it was to us. It was SEAMLESS and I know that it was because of her. We truly enjoyed our wedding so much. Naturally Yours is such a wonderful business to work with. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Naturally Yours Events was so easy to work with from start to finish! They connected us with Mel who was the most amazing coordinator! The planning tool they shared helped us to stay super organized and after meeting with Mel a few times over Zoom we felt confident we were in great hands. Mel was so sweet and communicative and made the planning process so much less stressful. Mel understood our vision and made sure our wedding day went off without a hitch. They kept everyone on schedule while also being incredibly upbeat & fun all day long. Having Mel there allowed us and our loved ones to truly enjoy the day without having to worry about the logistics. We cannot recommend Mel and Naturally Yours enough!

Katie Liang was our wedding coordinator and we are so grateful! She effortlessly coordinated all of our vendors and our wedding day was perfect. At the end of the day, our cheeks hurt from smiling so much. If there were any hiccups, we were not aware because the whole day was great. Katie brought us water and snacks while we were getting ready. At the end of the night, Katie cleaned everything up and herded us on to the shuttle. Katie made wedding planning stressfree and she is fun to work with!

Caitlyn has been such a joy to work with! We are recommending them left and right to all of our soon-to-be-wed friends. They seriously took so much weight off our shoulders. Our friends and family have been telling us that our wedding was the best one they have attended! They were instrumental in that success. Highly recommend NYE and Caitlyn for any type of planning, especially hiring a Day of Coordinator! Money well spent.

We are not exaggerating when we say that we could not have planned and pulled off such a perfect wedding day without the assistance of Mel and Naturally Yours Events. While Mel our day-of coordinator, she felt more like a full on Wedding Planner in the months leading up to our big day. Mel stayed in constant communication with all of our vendors and was able to ask and get clarification on so many things that we would not have thought of. She was able to make last-minute decisions for us when the weather on our wedding day was less than ideal and was always a calm and assuring presence. Everything was exactly how we wanted it to be when it came down to it and that would not have been possible without her and Samantha. She is a true pro! It would be difficult to list all the ways Naturally Yours Events helped us in a single review. But we can absolutely recommend that you use their planning tools that come bundled with their service (seriously, use them). The more you follow their recommendations, the less you have to think or worry about on the day-of. Hiring them and working with Mel was the single best thing we did for our wedding.

If I could give more than five stars, I would. We hired Naturally Yours Events for our day-of coordination for our ~130 person wedding, and it was the best decision we ever made. If you're reading these reviews and wondering if you should reach out to them for your wedding: Yes, you should. When an event is executed flawlessly, it's most likely because someone was doing a lot of hard work behind the scenes to make sure everything goes smoothly. In our case, we were so lucky that that person was Mel. My husband and I were able to let go and revel in the celebration, and we couldn't have done that without Mel's careful coordination. She was so well organized, communicative, calm, and patient throughout the whole process. She does so much more than just show up on the day of the event. She started working with us weeks before to make sure we had everything in order for the big day (vendors, contracts, timelines, seating charts, logistics, rings, gifts, wardrobe, wedding license, photography shot lists, and on, and on, and on). As we got closer to the event, she oversaw the logistics, corresponding with all the vendors, making sure there weren't any communication gaps, and ensuring everyone knew where to go and when to be there. She and her assistant even set out all of my DIY decorations. No matter what your budget is, hiring a day-of coordinator will help to ensure that you get the most value out of the cost of your wedding. My husband and I, our guests, and our friends were able to be fully present on our wedding day, and it was such a gift. We had time to taste the food, drink our wine, dance, and spend time with our guests, and we couldn't have done that if Mel hadn't been there to oversee all of the details throughout the day.

Carlene was our wedding planner and she was INCREDIBLE! My husband and I were talking about smoothly the big day went, and we know that's because of a lot of hard work behind the scenes from Carlene as well as the other NYE associate, Katie, who was there day-of. We got the partial planning package and Carlene was so helpful throughout the entire process, and we'd definitely recommend getting at least the partial package if you can. Getting so many thorough vendor recommendations and having help reviewing the contracts alone were things we definitely needed (and there's a lot of other stuff included with that package!!) Day-of, the only thing that surprised us was that the strap of my wedding dress broke! Carlene even made eye contact with me across the room while speeches were happening and noticed something was up. She was amazing and was able to sew it up quickly, and it was fine the rest of the night! Also, Katie was able to get some stains out of my dress after we did our outdoor couples' photos and noticed that being outside damaged the dress a bit. Both of them were so helpful, kind, and organized. We loved working with Naturally Yours and highly, highly recommend them. Don't look any further for a wedding planner - NYE won't disappoint!!

I was an out of state bride based in Boston and needed support for day of coordination. We were matched with Liz and she was so wonderful. She helped me and my now husband work through our morning wedding and brunch reception with ease. Any question we had she helped us answer and make a plan for executing it day of. I would recommend any bride to hire Naturally Yours for your day of coordination (and beyond).

Kristen Stewart was our planner and we had such a blast working with her! She made sure we kept on schedule and was super flexible with our work schedules for meetings, for which we are forever grateful. She understood our vision perfectly and recommended that I have a heart shaped bouquet (it was awesome) and encouraged us to include our dog in the ceremony (also awesome). We don’t know how we could have possibly orchestrated such a grand occasion without her guiding us. “I literally don’t know what we would have done without her” -my HUSBAND just now. Naturally Yours Events was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Every detail or request we threw at them was always a resounding, "Yes, we can do that!" They were able to customize our day-of coordinator package to fit what we needed as a multicultural, multi-event wedding. Tempris Daniels was our lead coordinator, and she did a fantastic job advocating for our vision while juggling the demands from all of our vendors. 10/10 would recommend NYE!

Saying that Kristen is the BEST wedding planner is an understatement and we cannot think of the best word to describe how amazing she is. She is sweet, punctual, professional, attentive, and everything that you can ask for in a wedding planner. She also gave us an extensive list of vendors, which goes to show how knowledgable she is, and helped us to create the dream team that made our day SO SO special. Let me share this from the perspective of people who never wanted to hire a wedding planner .... ( but our venue required it. ) First, my wife and I wanted to find a company that's inclusive to ALL kinds of love. Naturally Yours fit the bill. During our introductory phone call, they asked for my pronouns, which really made a positive impression on me that they would care about that area. They found a price package that made sense for us. We went with the "Day Of Plus" ... which guarantees all the important support on the day of your wedding, plus additional meetings to plan thru decor/design. Our first real meeting was with Tempris. And she was great! For two people who never wanted to hire a wedding planner ... we had such a fun time creating our "vision board" ... (that we didn't know even existed for weddings) ... but became super helpful in handing over to possible florists and Photo Booth vendors, even our venue. Tempris was so kind and helpful. She sent us on our way after that meeting, feeling well-equipped to hire vendors. A few months later, we were paired with our lead coordinator, Liz, and she was a great fit for us as a couple. How important is that? Super important ... think about it, Liz became our "third wheel" in almost everything in the planning process. Who wants to hang with a "dud" third wheel? :) ... Naturally Yours works to pair couples with their planner in this way...based on phone calls, bio information ... they can guess what will and won't work. Liz was exceptional. Positive energy, responsive, very detail-oriented, and compassionate. During the final few months, she made key suggestions and observations of changes that needed to be made .. big and small. (And things we wouldn't have thought about) Wedding Day? Liz was our MVP. She went above and beyond coordinating so many things. Stopped by our hotel to say hello to everyone getting ready, communicating with our vendors in what was probably 1500 text messages/emails back and forth ... and not all of them were easy to coordinate with! She did everything with a smile and an exceptional attitude. And the best part? Because of Liz ... we only had to think about getting married. She handled everything else ...from laying out our change of shoes (heels to Nikes of course) :) , finding an Uber late for my family, to taking awesome photos and interacting with our vendors and guests in such a fun and natural way. She kept our night rolling ... in a timely and organized, seamless manner. We had a short ceremony, so we didn't rehearse. But I'll never forget Liz coming up to us (separately) with some guided advice on what will work best ... and then the final piece of guidance, handed over with a smile: "Breathe. You're getting married. It's going to be awesome." And it was. The best night of our lives. Thanks to Naturally Yours. We didn't want you at first, and now couldn't imagine our wedding without you. :) 5++++ stars

I am an event producer for a company who has catered over 500 Weddings and want to share a few words, as a fellow vendor. I had the pleasure of working with Mel, from Naturally Yours Events, last weekend. Mel took the lead and coordinated a beautiful wedding that my company catered (9/15/23) at The District, in Richmond IL; she made my work easy with her knowledge, punctuality, her attention to detail, and helpful hand. As vendors, we know that weddings have many details, deadlines, and lots to get through on the timeline, but Mel’s professionalism and expertise helped us execute it perfectly; everything went awesomely! She is fun, friendly, outgoing, responsive, and goes out of her way to make sure her clients are happy and their big day goes smoothly and without a hitch! It’s a shame I cannot rate higher than 5 stars, because I would. We opted for the coordination services, and I would highly recommend. We did the planning, but when it came to making sure everything went smooth and everyone was on the same page, our fabulous coordinator, Tempris, was my absolute hero. The number of emails and questions the week before would have stressed me out so bad, but I went into the week or our wedding feeling so at ease! Tempris was seriously the best!

My husband and I had Evelyn as our planner and she was nothing short of amazing! She kept in touch with us through the planning process and communicated so well with our other vendors. She handled everything so well on the day of that all logistics were taken care of and I felt stress-free!

I cannot recommend NYE highly enough! NYE was recommended to us by our venue coordinator for day-of coordination support, and WOW - I cannot imagine what our lives would have been like without Mel's dedicated and thoughtful support. Each meeting with Mel felt incredibly productive and fun - her communication and organization skills are unparalleled. She brings warmth and humor to her planning approach which truly helped reduce our pre-wedding stress and ensure we were prepared for the big day, and was always available for a quick email or text exchange, responding promptly with thoughts, solutions or advice. On our wedding day, Mel was a complete and utter STAR. From texting me first thing in the morning to make sure I was eating, staying calm and our day was running on schedule, to staying until the very end to close the loop with our other vendors, she was a calm, grounded and reliable presence, managing everything flawlessly and with a smile. I knew I could go to her with any question, issue, request and that she would be on top of it. Having her on our team made a world of difference and felt like having a best friend guiding us through our day - it truly made the wedding planning a joy. Our wedding wouldn't have been as incredible as it was without Mel and NYE - we highly recommend to anyone looking for day-of coordination!

NYE was the first vendor we booked and we didn't regret it! We got the "day of coordination" package and felt supported throughout our entire planning process. The NYE team had wonderful recommendations on vendors, extensive experience with our venue (Garfield Park Conservatory), and really helpful tools that helped us stay organized with planning. Mel (our coordinator) was the best! She had an incredibly calming presence, which was appreciated when wedding planning felt hectic. From our first meeting with Mel, we immediately felt comfortable and confident that she understood what we wanted and would be able to make it happen on our wedding day. We had a specific vision and she executed it flawlessly on the big day. Everything was absolutely perfect and we truly never worried whether or not something would get done (vendor coordination, details / decor, etc.). Not having to worry about these details on our wedding day allowed us to be present and truly enjoy all the special moments. We're so grateful to Mel and the NYE team for executing our vision and allowing us to take it all in. If you're planning a wedding in Chicago, NYE is definitely the coordinator to use!

I cannot say enough good things about Naturally Yours Events, and our life-saving Wedding Planner, Lauren West. From the moment we started working with Lauren, she was incredibly helpful, organized, and always knew the right questions to ask. The wedding planning process is very tedious and time-sensitive (even as an event planner myself!) and she made it a breeze. The Planning Tool they provide was vital and really helped me keep all of our information/vendors/payment dates/scheduling etc. all in one place and organized. We had plenty of Zoom meetings, and she stayed on top of vendors to make sure there would be no surprises. And met with the venue several times in person since I live in another state. But none of that even compared to her magic day-of! As we all know, the day goes by quick and she kept everything flowing so smoothly and perfectly. It would NOT have been such a seamless day if it weren’t for her (as well as our other day-of Planner, Danny Barker). Thank you both SO much for everything and making sure our special day was perfectly executed and enjoyable at the same time. If you are planning a wedding in Chicago - ask for Lauren!!

Carlene, the owner of Naturally Yours, was an absolute dream! From start to finish, she kept our budget, individual visions, and love story in mind. We are a artsy duo with very specific tastes, and she really made the day as beautiful and seamless for the wedding party, staff, and guests as possible. We worked with Mel for our wedding, and the big day came together perfectly! We booked day-of coordination, but Naturally Yours Events works with you to provide support and ideas from the moment you book them. The planning tool helped us to get organized and easily communicate with Mel. We met with Mel several times on Zoom and were confident that there would be no surprises the day of our wedding. One of my favorite things was that Naturally Yours takes care of correspondence with all other vendors in the weeks leading up to the event. The week of my wedding so many friends and family told me that I seemed surprisingly calm for someone whose wedding was in a week, and it was totally because I knew Mel had everything under control. And there is no experience like walking into your wedding reception to see your vision executed PERFECTLY. We received so many compliments on food, decor, music, etc., and Mel kept everyone on schedule while also being an incredibly upbeat cheerleader all day long. When my friends getting married ask for recommendations, NYE is top of my list!

My aunt (from Chi) purchased a wedding coordinator for us for my wedding (in WI). We were paired with Liz and she was amazing! She fully support my vision and wants as the bride. She was also super honest and blunt and I respect that so much, because I am the same way. Liz was so accommodating with my crazy life schedule and living so far away from the City she still worked with us. The spreadsheet and meetings provided were so helpful with staying on track with wedding prep. She made sure small details I never would of thought of were right and prepared for the big day. With rain on the day of, DJ not playing music for the ceremony. She took charge and made sure I still had my music and vision outside. She got some great photos too on her own. She meshed well with my whole group and vendors. I wish I could throw another wedding just go work with her again. She was amazing and exactly what I needed to be stress free and happy on my big day.

Mel was fantastic! She is so calming and on top of it - which is exactly what I need! She was my Franck (for my Father of the Bride fans) without his pushy opinions lol. I know my wedding would not have gone half as smoothly and as beautifully without Mel and the NYE team. I had a truly wonderful experience with them from beginning to end. They provide you with so many planning tools and guidance, but if you also veer off a little bit they don't hunt you down or force you back. The design meeting add on was CRUCIAL as I kept having nightmares I would walk into my wedding and it would be a hodge podge mess. It was so well run and seamless - I didn't have to do a thing. I was so worried about my wedding but then after the walk through (which Mel arranged and advised me to do!!), I knew Mel and my caterer had my back and wouldn't let us fail. I can't tell you the relief that was!! My wedding was absolutely beautiful and perfect (I'm biased but still lol) and yet I didn't have to lift a finger day of. I know I have Mel/NYE to thank for so much of that! Love you guys - thank you for everything!!!

We had an absolutely amazing experience working with Melodie at Naturally Yours Events for our wedding. Melodie was extremely knowledgeable, unbelievably helpful, and SO MUCH FUN to work with. I was torn on whether or not we needed a planner and can confidently say that having a planner for our wedding was the best decision we could have made. Melodie made the process so much easier and we truly cannot imagine having done everything without her! Cannot recommend more!

I cannot recommend Naturally Yours Events enough! My fiancé and I worked with Tempris, who went above and beyond to make our big day everything we wanted it to be. Throughout the process of planning, she was always on top it, and she kept both our rehearsal and our wedding day run smoothly and on schedule! After the wedding, there was a miscommunication and our DJ ended up with some stands we rented from another vendor, and Tempris took it upon herself to retrieve the stands and return them for us. We are so happy with how our wedding turned out and cannot thank Tempris enough for all her hard work!

We LOVED working with Mel at Naturally Yours Events! Our wedding was last weekend and it was a dream. Their day-of planning option was perfect for us - the team shared an entire spreadsheet of resources for us to work from in planning things initially. Mel came into the fold about two months out to take over from there and oversaw all of our day-of logistics and vendor communication. Her cool and calm demeanor kept things low stress and her amazing attention to detail kept us on track. She and her team had worked in our venue before (Artifact Events) and had also worked with our catering (Publican Catering Group) and floral vendors (Flowers for Dreams) too, so vendor coordination was a breeze. She also helped to plan last-minute logistics for a day-after brunch that my parents hosted - she's THE BEST! We also loved Naturally Yours' focus on environmental sustainability - they promote re-selling of decor items through events with the Great Wedding Recyclery. This helped us reduce waste/avoid buying new items for decor while saving some money too. It was an amazing experience!

I could not recommend NYE more, they were amazing and made our wedding run SO smoothly. We knew we wanted a day-of coordinator, but I never expected to receive so much more than just guidance on that day. Their planning tools are fantastic, and Lauren absolutely went above and beyond to help us with everything. I am forever grateful for all her help with our DIY floral, her sewing parts of my dress at the venue not once but TWICE, and all her patience when we had a couple hiccups at the rehearsal. She was so instrumental in giving us advice and holding our hands when we needed it, our wedding absolutely would not have been the same without her. Hiring a planner was easily some of the best money we spent on the wedding, and I'm so glad to have worked with Lauren.

We used Naturally Yours Events for our wedding this past weekend, and Liz Breen was our wedding planner. Liz was AMAZING. From our first meeting to the big night, Liz was fun, organized, professional, and totally on top of everything. She allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our night, and we could not have gotten through it without her. Liz anticipated our needs, shared helpful advice and suggestions, and was an absolute joy to work with. We couldn’t recommend her and Naturally Yours Events more!

We hired Naturally Yours Events for my daughters wedding on August 13th and Mel was our Coordinator. She is the absolute best. She continually stayed on top of things even when we became exhausted with all the details and decision making. The wedding day was flawless in every single way. If you’re considering hiring a wedding planner/ day of coordinator, do not hesitate to hire Naturally Yours Events. We could not be any more thrilled that we did!!

10/10 would recommend!! I was on the fence about getting a coordinator at first and I’m SO glad we did! Mel was absolutely amazing and helped us have the absolute best day of our lives! Their planning tool was incredibly helpful and made us feel prepared and organized. This really helped reduce some stress in the final month leading up to the wedding. Mel was down to earth, calm, friendly, organized and professional! Her demeanor put us at ease and set the tone for all of us in the wedding party. She coordinated with our vendors ahead of the big day, took charge during the rehearsal and gave the bridal party great tips, and was prepared for everything the day threw at us (even a bloody nose on my dress during the first look!). She was a natural with the flower girl and helped out with her during the ceremony, speeches, and dinner to make sure it all went smoothly! They were a pleasure to work with! The newlyweds also loved working with Liz! Using their service really helped us be present for the couple on the wedding day rather than rushing around with a list of to do's! Kristen and the NYE crew were the ABSOLUTE best! I was feeling very overwhelmed with all the decisions of wedding planning and decided to see what they could offer. The partial planning option was perfect because I could still make decisions etc. but Kristen gave options and suggestions that I would never have even thought of. We got to meet both in person and virtually and I always felt comfortable and had the best time. The planning tools they gave us were so useful. The day of our wedding Kristen and her assistant took care of everything and made all my anxieties go away. Everyone complimented all the aspects of the day and everything went off without a hitch. If you can afford it, a wedding planner was the best money we spent for our wedding. AND as a bonus we were nice to the environment!

I am so incredibly thankful to Evelyn for everything she did for us during the wedding planning and on the wedding day! She was consistently thoughtful, supportive, and on top of every tiny detail; it really helped me feel at ease on my wedding day because I didn't have to worry about a thing! I am just really grateful we were able to work with her, and as someone who normally stresses about organizing, I felt secure with her planning and communication.

If I could give Naturally Yours Events 10 stars I would! My wife and I worked with Liz and Sarah and they did a wonderful job for our wedding. We literally could not have done it without them!! I would call them the glue that held it all together. Liz and Sarah went above and beyond to make our special day an absolute success. There was rain in the forecast for our outdoor wedding and Liz came up with multiple contingencies for the ceremony if the weather didn't cooperate. If you're on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator, do it because trust me you'll be glad you did!

If you are on the fence about hiring any type of event planner services for your wedding, I would encourage you to make the best decision you may make for your entire day, and hire Naturally Yours Events. We contracted with the Naturally Yours team for day-of coordination as well as design services, and we were assigned Lauren as our planner. Lauren helped me put on paper what I never would have been able to express to vendors myself around our wedding vision, which made meetings quick and easy. She also provided many helpful vendor recommendations, and I knew I could trust her input and experience. Naturally Yours helped us work through two COVID postponements. The team navigated the pandemic beautifully, and when the time came for us to finally have our event, Lauren was truly the star of the show. Lauren worked with us in the months leading up to the wedding to ensure we had finalized all tasks and to help craft our day-of timeline. Having this timeline available for parents and bridal party members allowed the day to run so smoothly it felt like it couldn't possibly be real. I truly had no stress the weeks leading up to the wedding, because I felt so confident and assured with Lauren as our key contact on site to help things run smoothly. One of a bride's goals should be to enjoy everything about her wedding day, and Lauren and team made that goal come true for me. We cannot express enough how truly wonderful this team is!

We LOVE Carlene! We interviewed five planners and instantly knew that we wanted to work with Naturally Yours. Carlene’s friendly, yet calm demeanor put us at ease. Importantly, she is experienced, honest, objective, detail oriented, and a great listener. During our meetings, we always felt like a priority and that she genuinely cared about us. She helped us think through everything we wanted (or could want) for our wedding - as well as what we wouldn’t need - so we could craft a day that was joyous, meaningful, and authentically ours. We hired Naturally Yours for partial planning, which included things like a planning timeline, budget, vendors and contract reviews, and day-of timeline. More than that, Carlene was indispensable as our trusted advisor and sounding board. She was never pushy, always honest, and we knew she had our best interests at heart. For example, she steered us away from decisions that would be costly and/or poor quality, enabling us to make the most of our budget (which isn’t always easy in Chicago). Carlene helped us make decisions especially during the challenge of postponements and public health mandates amid Covid. At every step of the way, Carlene was quick to respond to emails, happy to jump on calls with us, and answered our many, many questions without missing a beat. She also advocated for us when needed. It was a pleasure to plan with her for an extra year! On the day of the wedding, we were surrounded by incredible vendors all recommended by Naturally Yours. Carlene and Kristen worked magic behind the scenes. Carlene came prepared for everything, from fixing my husband’s boutonniere to sewing my bustle. I also forgot my dad’s gift at the hotel; she was able to have it brought to us before walking down the aisle. The photos of my dad and me at that moment are some of the most precious from the day - and they wouldn’t exist without her. Our guests complimented how smoothly everything ran. I’m so glad we chose to work with Naturally Yours for our day-of coordination! From my first discussion with Kristen, I knew I wanted to work with them because I could tell how organized and on top of it they were. You could also tell by the super detailed month-by-month planning tool that they provided (which we used religiously). We found out our lead coordinator was Lauren 3 months out and she was truly a gem! We had 2 long planning meetings, an on-site visit, and a ton of emails back and forth throughout the whole process. She was particularly helpful with all our last minute covid questions since our wedding was during the height of the delta variant. On the day of, she kept things rolling but was also calm and collected the whole time. If there were any mishaps, I had no idea - I trusted her to take care of things! This is a well overdue but well-deserved review! Carlene and her team are FANTASTIC planners. My co-officiants and I have worked with them on many occasions. They are detailed, kind, organized, and overall wonderful folks to work with. When the pandemic hit, not only did they graciously accommodate the changes from their couples, but they also communicated this clearly, effectively, and transparently with vendors with plenty of notice. This level of support was beyond what they needed to do, and I'm so grateful for their help not only during the pandemic, but also prior. Additionally, Carlene is brilliantly innovative, as she works to find solutions to help couples marry in the way that best suits them, pandemic or no pandemic. She's created new products and services to support couples and give them their absolute best day. Kristen from Naturally Yours Events was our wedding planner (partial planning package) for our August 2021 wedding. Like other COVID wedding couples, we had to postpone our originally planned August 2020 wedding. We were so fortunate to have started working with Kristen prior to the pandemic. Throughout the planning process, Kristen was extremely organized and thorough. She had a suite of templates, such as monthly and weekly to-do’s organized by, vendor contact info, budget worksheets, etc. During our meetings, Kristen was very helpful in helping us sort through how to approach tasks (e.g., how to identify a florist and what our vision was). Her ability to recommend reliable vendors was very helpful as this removed the search process for us and we could reach out to just a handful of trusted vendors for inquiry. We originally wanted to DIY plan the wedding ourselves and ran into issues in finding reputable vendors. When we had vendor issues with our own picks (we had some specific needs that Kristen hadn’t had at a wedding before so we had to scout a vendor), Kristen was fantastic in communicating with the vendor and helping us resolve it. Aside from the typical wedding planning process, Kristen provided such great support as we navigated wedding planning through the pandemic. She was a critical resource in helping us understand how the wedding industry and other Chicago wedding couples were responding to the pandemic. I could not imagine us planning the wedding by ourselves through the pandemic (or even in normal times). During the day of the wedding, Kristen was fantastic at making sure the day progressed seamlessly. Our wedding day had no hiccups, all thanks to Kristen’s coordination. We wholeheartedly recommend Naturally Yours Events, and especially Kristen, for your wedding!

Well like most other reviews I really don't know we're to start. We were suppose to have our wedding last year in August and like many other we had to postone. We had a previous wedding coordinator and she was awful. Caused so much unneeded stress. After a while we decided it would be better to do things on our own vs with the old planner. About a month went by and we realized we had no idea what to do. I looked around and stumbled on naturally yours events based on the reviews. I called in and got a call back maybe 10 minutes later. The wedding was only 60 days away and Kristen was already booked up with two other weddings that month. Knowing she couldn't do it she stilled stayed on the phone for an hour to help us out as she felt so bad for our situation. She called back a day later and said she wasn't going to let us go through something so bad again. I mean what a sign of relief. Someone with an actually functioning heart. Hard to come across these days. She was amazing from beginning to the end. She reminded us of tasks made recommendations and always called back same day of not minutes later. Kristen thank you so much. We are actually sad that we won't be able to work with you as our wedding is over. Haha. This whole process felt like a friend ship vs a contract. My husband and I worked with Lauren West at Naturally Yours Events for partial planning services for our October 2020 wedding... which turned into a June 2021 wedding! Starting at our very first meeting, Lauren did an excellent job of listening to my husband and I and really understanding what was important to us for our wedding. She was professional, very organized, and was great about reminding us of details that we would have certainly otherwise overlooked. When we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid-19, Lauren and Carlene were very understanding and helped us through the process of contacting all our vendors to reschedule. In the months that followed, Lauren was great about keeping in touch, even when we were very unsure of whether our wedding would even happen. Leading up to our wedding day, Lauren became an amateur public health expert and stayed on top of all the latest rules and restrictions. She kept us optimistic and focussed on planning a safe celebration that still incorporated the elements that were most important to us. Our wedding day was more wonderful than we ever hoped for (even pre-Covid!) and everything went off without a hitch, in no small part due to Lauren's planning, hard work, and wrangling behind the scenes! Carlene and her team made planning a wedding in a pandemic a very smooth experience. From our first meeting, we felt like this was the right match for us. Kristen contacted me and was so thorough in our initial conversation, I was hooked! We worked with Carlene for our wedding on September 26th, 2020. She was incredible. I was initially on the fence about hiring a wedding planner as I am a frugal person, but I am SO glad that we decided to hire Carlene at NYE as a partial wedding planner and day of coordinator. Carlene is incredibly organized, creative, accommodating to evolving budgets/circumstances, and overall the best wedding planner out there in my opinion. My husband and I planned our Chicago wedding long distance from Seattle, and Carlene consistently went above and beyond, making sure we could condense our vendor meetings to a few weekends and even meeting with vendors on our behalf while we were out of town. She was also so helpful with all of the personal touches that made our decorations so special, even lending us re-usable items such as table card holders/easels. She even designed and printed a custom seating chart and welcome board for us that fit with our theme and very well received by our guests. On our wedding day itself, Carlene was the best. She ensured that everything ran smoothly, so that my husband and I could enjoy our day—I can honestly say that all was flawless from my point of view and there were definitely some logistical challenges to the wedding day with our ceremony and reception venue being 25 minutes away. She even fixed my dress with her emergency dress repair kit after it ripped en route to the reception! Lastly, Carlene is one of the most genuinely kind, patient, authentic, and overall wonderful humans out there. Our parents and bridal party loved her, and she had fantastic working relationships with all of our vendors. We are so thankful that she agreed to take on our long distance wedding planning and would hire her for any other event in a heartbeat.

We hired Evelyn for day-of-coordination. We spoke/met with her several times prior to our wedding day. The wedding planning tool they provide is a pain in the butt to fill out, but worth it to make sure you go over all the details. Our favorite part was right after the ceremony- she made sure we had a private moment to ourselves with snacks and drinks waiting for us! Planning a wedding for the first (and hopefully only!) time is incredibly stressful and it's hard to know what you don't know. Evelyn was a joy to work with and spend our day with :)

My wife and I highly recommend Carlene at Naturally Yours Events. She spent a lot of time trying to understand what we wanted our wedding to be and helped us execute it. She was a continual blessing by protecting us from the heavy lifting of putting together a wedding and proved to be a creative problem solver. She clearly advocated for us when vendors were not holding up their end of the bargain and we really appreciated her representing us. She helped make the most of situations so it would not ruin our big day. On the day of, it was amazing to see Carlene moving so deftly behind the scenes, not only making sure the wedding was running smoothly, but that we were enjoying one of the best days of our lives. Where do I even begin? Kristen wowed me from our first phone call with her thoughtful questions and genuine enthusiasm, and it only got better from there. We engaged NYE for "day-of" coordination, but it was SO much more than that. My (now) husband and I had an incredibly thorough introductory meeting with Kristen months before our wedding date, and another two weeks before in which she walked us through every single detail of how we wanted our wedding to go. I had been feeling very overwhelmed by the entire wedding planning process at that point, but Kristen made all the little details fall into place gracefully. Not only did she make every decision easy, it was clear every step of the way that she wanted what was best for US. She knew exactly when to make recommendations (on things we weren't sure about like timing, tables, etc.) and when to execute exactly what we knew we wanted (like helping me surprise my groom with a cake based on our favorite TV show and catching his reaction on camera). Kristen helped us with ever-changing hair + makeup timelines, bridal party email templates, complicated contracts, and just about every single detail you can imagine goes into planning a wedding. On the actual day, I felt her presence more than I saw her, because she was off ensuring everything ran perfectly--which it did. We had the wedding of our dreams thanks to Kristen and her team (all of whom are super sweet and professional). CANNOT RECOMMEND NYE ENOUGH!!!

Naturally Yours Events made our wedding planning very easy and fun! We could not have done it without Lauren and Naturally Yours. My wife and I did not have much of a vision going into the planning stages of the wedding, but Lauren helped guide us and made sure we took care of everything, even the things you do not normally think of when planning a wedding. The end result was a perfect wedding in budget with no stress the day of. We would highly recommend!

We contracted with NYE for full services, and outside of saying yes to my spouse, it was the best decision I made! I have a difficult time letting other people take the reigns of something I have a vision for, has my name on it and/or my heart is in, and Carlene did a fantastic job easing these fears. She is detail orientated, has created expert planning tools, and has great connections and references - especially to environmentally conscious vendors, and as a queer/trans couple, to vendors who were open to our needs/wishes and supportive of making sure not just us but our guests felt seen and comfortable. She was also great the day-of and handled so many fires we didn't even learn about until weeks later in our de-breif. We also had a large wedding party who were more like a heard of rebel cats who don't like to take orders from any body, but Carlene packed them up and got them together - truly a talent. Our day was truly perfection, and I couldn't have fully enjoyed it without her. I highly recommend Carlene or anyone from NYE.

As we planned our wedding, we read through reviews on every vendor before picking up the phone, or emailing them for more information. NYE was hands down one of our favorite vendors - Kristen was amazing. We knew we were in good hands from the get go. She is extremely organized, professional, yet beyond friendly, and she made us feel truly special during the entire experience. They were extremely cost effective, as everything adds up ridiculously quickly for Chicago weddings - they didn't reflect the ugly grind we saw from other potential vendors as we were searching for the vendor team for our venue. We also LOVE, LOVE they are members of the Green Wedding Alliance, as we were doing our very best to be mindful of the environment, eliminate waste, etc., as we planned our big day. Last, we strongly recommend attending Wedtoberfest, even if you don't use NYE for planning, this wedding event was charming, informational, not pushy at all, and had the Chicago class and character we were searching for in our wedding planning journey. There were SO many things Kristen brought up we never would have thought of - thankfully she was on our wedding team. Even leading up to the big day, I texted her in a panic as the popcorn favor order was WAY bigger than we thought, and she responded right away, and I dropped it off at NYE so it was one less (of MANY) thing we had to worry about. I knew we were in good hands the entire time, and their location was beyond convenient. I would highly recommend NYE, and do your best to nab Kristen - she is a gem.

She was cool and collected. She knew the ins and outs. She was always ready to help. She was supportive and still in control. This review is 2-for-1! My husband and I used NYE for full-planning and Carlene organized the wedding of our dreams on 10/6/18! But ALSO, I was working in the wedding industry at the time and on several occasions had the absolute pleasure of crossing paths with Kristen! So I can attest to the talent and professionalism of both of these women, not only from the perspective of a client but also as a vendor. Carlene is astoundingly impressive. She manages to juggle so many details at once and makes it look easy. I initially decided to contact a planner because I hit a wall in my google searching and wanted some suggestions for vendors and venues from someone who might have insider knowledge, and Carlene did not disappoint. She presented us with a list of lots of great options in each category based on what we were going for, and had even more ideas if we didn't find something in the first round. We were drawn to NYE because of their commitment to sustainable practices, and all of the vendors Carlene recommended shared the same mindset which was so awesome to see. Another reason we went not only for a planner but a full planner was that we were pretty busy and wanted some help keeping everything organized. Over her years of experience Carlene has developed an extremely thorough system for keeping track of details, from dates to contact information to style ideas. She made it easy to remember payment due dates, and was a font of information about things like when we should be sending Save the Dates and even helped us come up with a creative Guestbook idea. She has thought of every last little thing and always has a plan for anything that could go wrong! Because let's face it, with so many moving parts, there are lots of opportunities for things to go awry during the course of a wedding, but Carlene is your best bet to keep things moving no matter what. Plus, she's an awesome person and became a good friend :) Coincidentally, shortly after we first met with Carlene I started working in wedding florals. This job gave me a new appreciation for the amount of work that goes into coordinating a wedding and what planners and vendors do behind the scenes. I was so excited to work on a couple weddings with Kristen! She was always prompt and thorough with communication, and also was just super sweet. She has such a fun, positive energy but also really knows how to get stuff done! And I could really tell that beyond her obvious professional skills she also really cares about her clients and their happiness. I really looked forward to working with her every time!
