Steve was so wonderful to work with. He took into consideration that my husband and I didn't want too many posed shots. Throughout the day he made sure we felt comfortable and natural when the camera was around. Steve and his team were really easy to get in contact with and plan in advance with. I had a set shot list I wanted to follow to make sure we had enough time for cocktail hour with our guests. Steve followed the list to a T and got us to cocktail hour with plenty of time to enjoy our party. I'd reccomend him to anyone!

Steven was amazing to work with. He was in time and very professional. More importantly he made taking pictures more fun! We loved how much time and dedication he took taking our pictures. We booked Steven for two wedding ceremonies, both were long days and he was such a champ. He dealt with my large wedding party with ease. We don't even have our wedding photos in our hands yet from our September wedding, but I couldn't wait to write Steven an amazing review. It is such a joy to work with someone who has such a passion for their craft, and Steven's passion and love for photography and capturing sweet moments between couples is clearly evident! We had the pleasure of getting to know Steven during our engagement shoot and he made us feel incredibly comfortable and we were amazed by the shots he was able to get even when it was hours after sunset. "If you see a moment, you've already missed it." Meaning: If you see an action, and try to photograph it- it's already to late. "If you see a moment before it happens, then you can have it." My wedding was August 28, 2016 and I can't tell you how my times during my wedding I would see special moments across the dance floor or room and be thinking to myself where is Steve?!?! He was right there getting the shot, you don't know how incredibly happy that made me feel, knowing he was capturing those special moments at my wedding. Steve made us feel completely comfortable, he felt like a member of our family. There were days after when I would see some of our guest and they'd say your Photgrapher was awesome! (He really is) You can tell he's very passionate about his work. He's very good with email communication and easy to get in touch with. He understands it's your special day so whatever your needs are he will fufill. I promise you, you won't be disappointed choosing him.

Steve was absolutely amazing! He had a ton to deal with between all of the pets and my crazy Italian family, and stayed cool, calm, and collected the whole time! He helped keep everyone in order and things flowing in a timely fashion. He definitely helped take a lot of stress off my shoulders. Your photographer search ends here. This was one aspect of our wedding, that we spent the most time researching, and had the most appointments for. Steven has an indescribable passion for his work, is a true professional, and is a fantastic person. When we first met Steven, there was a strong sense of dedication and pride in his work that we were drawn too. We found ourselves immediately comfortable with Steven and at the conclusion of our appointment, we knew we had our photographer. Throughout the entire process, Steven kept in touch and helped with some of the wedding planning process: color combinations for the girls and flowers, colors for the groomsmen suits, day of timelines, etc. We trusted his opinions and suggestions, and we are so happy we did. On our wedding day, he was with me the entire morning, and never once did I feel rushed. He made us all feel at ease and even helped us stay on schedule by him staying so organized and timely. As I have never been married before, I was honestly so happy to have Steven there. I have (and had) full confidence in Steven and fully trusted him that day, and his professionalism and personality brought great comfort to my husband and I that day. The next best day to our wedding, was the morning we received our pictures. We can hardly put into words how incredible these images are. Each picture is a little standstill of a memory that immediately brings you back to that second, where you can feel the emotions, and have the opportunity to relive each moment. They are all vivid, unique, and breathtaking. They all tell a story, and Steven did an awe-inspiring job at capturing the connection and personalities between my husband and I, and also an incredible job documenting the energy of our guests. Whenever we show our photos to others, they are stunned by the quality, beauty, and timelessness of each photo. They, as well as ourselves, are truly captivated by these images. Working with Steven was such an honor. We would work with Steven again in a heart-beat, and we hope to again in the future. There is not a thing we would change. I cannot recommend Steve enough! I really wanted a photographer who would take more stylistic photos than a typical wedding photographer, and he did a exactly that. We told him right away that we would need a lot of direction to get good shots and he was so good at telling us exactly what to do when during posed shots, and staying in the background for candids. Our families said they didn't even notice him during the ceremony! We are getting so many compliments about our photos and cannot wait to get the albums.

I don't even know where to begin with how happy I was with Steve and his work. Hands down the best photographer to hire for any event! I used him for 3 wedding events (my Bridal Shower, Church Ceremony, Wedding/Reception) and LOVED the pictures each and every time. I love that he captures every moment with fabulous candids. I wanted a photographer who had really mastered this instead of the traditional rigid staged wedding portraits. He nailed it! Not to mention his professionalism matches his level of work. My husband and I were both SO impressed by Steve’s portfolio. His natural, journalistic approach to photography was exactly what we wanted for our wedding day, someone who could capture those special, candid moments that we would never want to forget, and also give us a stunning set of portraits. I made many phone calls to Steve throughout the planning and he was always helpful, informative and patient with my endless supply of questions. We knew we had chosen the right guy when he offered to meet up with us and walk through our venue together because he hadn’t been there before. He was able to get a feel for the space and we planned out all the places we could do the first reveal, the portraits, etc. On top of all that, he was a really nice, funny guy! Steven was SO amazing! When I first saw his site, I knew he was the one I wanted to hire. I had seen so many wedding pictures that were the typical ones and so staged looking. He had incredible candid shots, exactly what I was looking for. Throughout the wedding we had NO idea he was there but managed to get every single shot that we wanted. He was INCREDIBLE. He could tell I wasn't super comfortable with the camera so he focused on candids - when we got the pictures back, we were FLOORED. I've literally given his name out to 3 or 4 people at this point who just adored the pictures. Would definitely use him again, and I think my best friend is actually using him for her wedding now!

Steve is the man! The second we saw his beautiful, unique work, we knew he was our guy - and we could not have been more right. In fact, he's photographed another friend's wedding already and is doing two more before the year is over. His talent speaks for itself! Aside from being incredibly talented, Steve is the nicest, easiest person to work with. I had this fear that there was going to be an obtrusive camera in my face all day, and Steve makes it the exact opposite. We took our formal family shots after our ceremony, but what I love so much about Steve's work is the story he tells with the rest of the day. We did some set shots, but so much of it is candid, which I'm sure will really capture the essence of our joy that day. He also doesn't set a time frame, and was with us from beginning to end, and happy to be there which was heartwarming. Photography is kind of a hobby of mine, so in my search for a photographer for my wedding, I was looking for someone who had a similar style. It was definitely one of the hardest vendors to choose. Many companies choose to show more pre-reception photos that are more staged in their portfolios. I tend to skim those and look more closely at the reception shots. I really love great quality candid photos. To me, it's more telling how good a photographer is. I loved Steve's photos when I saw them. I love that he sort of tells a story with his work. Steve was a pleasure to work with and has a fantastic eye. I loved all of our wedding photos from the staged to the candid. He did outstanding work as one photographer than some I've seen with multiple. He is a really nice person and made us feel super comfortable. He is highly recommended!

Steven is absolutely incredible! From the first meeting to the wedding day my husband and I felt instantly at ease! He is professional, energetic and a blast to have for these special events! I am so grateful to have such an amazing photographer at our wedding. Our wedding was July 18th. Steven was great to work with throughout the whole engagement process and was very easy to work with. He is very skillful in what he does and has a great eye to capture the moment throughout your big day!!! Do not hesitate to book Steven. He was a true professional with a calming demeanor that made it so easy to work with him while he captured every moment we could have asked for. From the engagement shoot to the wedding-- he was punctual, professional, easy-going, good communicator, and his work it speaks for itself! After meeting with countless photographers, we booked Steven immediately because he was the first photographer to ask us about ourselves—What we did? How we met? Etc. This may seem like a normal gesture when first meeting someone but it spoke volumes in an industry where the human aspect is often lost. Amazing, simply amazing! We first checked out the recommended photographers provided by our venue and the visions portrayed on their websites just didn't align with what we had in mind for our wedding. Then we stumbled upon Steven's website and decided that he was the ONLY photographer that we NEEDED to make an appointment with. He conveniently met with us at our local Starbucks and just as we had imagined, there was no need to look any further. His punctuality, super chill demeanor, and obviously his creativity and ability to capture the emotion in each moment had us sold in a heartbeat! We had countless email exchanges over the course of the year, an amazing engagement shoot, and a blast on our wedding day! Where do I even start? Steven was a recommendation from a friend of ours that used him for their wedding. Their pictures came out beautiful, so I had to have a meeting with him. We met with him and I knew right away he was going to be our photographer. His work is impeccable. He captures the "moment." I wanted the pictures that didn't look posed and he does just that! We did our engagement shoot with him and I had a tough time picking what pictures I wanted to use because I loved all of them! I am looking forward to getting our wedding pictures soon because I know for a fact that he captured the photos I wanted. I also want to add, that not only is his work amazing, but he is the nicest person! On your wedding day you are running around and there are so many moving parts. You need someone that works with you and makes you feel comfortable. Steven made me feel so comfortable on one of the most nerve racking days of my life! He is so calm and wants to make sure you are ok. If you reach out to him he answers right away. Do you know how many times I emailed him regarding schedules, etc. that had nothing to do with pictures and he still helped me out? When do you find that in a photographer!? Steven is seriously the best photographer and I couldn't imagine anyone else being their on the most important day! The second I saw the Sage Studios website, I knew I wanted them for my wedding. The style of their photography captured the exact timeless elegance I was looking for. We met with Steven right away and instantly decided that he was the right choice. He was easy to talk to, open to all of our ideas and able to point us in the right direction with any questions that we had. We started with Steven for our engagement photos the summer before the wedding and he was willing to drive all the way out to my childhood home in CT for the shoot. I was definitely nervous, having never been the subject of professional photography, but Steven was great to work with, keeping us laughing and completely at ease throughout the afternoon. The photos turned out better than I could have imagined, and I couldn't wait for the wedding day. Steven was amazing dealing with all of my emails in the interim, and getting back to me super quickly no matter how small the question. The wedding day itself was amazing. Steven arrived early and captured moments of us getting ready. We traveled to a park for bridal party and family photos, and Steven kept the whole operation running so smoothly, between keeping us on time, getting all the many requested shots from ourselves and our families, and even juggling the delicate issue of my blended family and which group shots were needed. The rest of the day was equally perfect - he was able to pull us away for a sunset shot on the water, but otherwise merely captured us and our guests enjoying the incredible day. Steven stayed all the way till the end of the wedding, getting every last moment. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to work with Sage Studios for our wedding, and we will definitely be recommending them to everyone we know. One of the biggest choices you can make for your wedding is the photographer. Photography is an art, and wedding photography is a very difficult field. The difference between choosing a great photographer and a bad photographer can literally mean the difference between having a great wedding with great memories, or a horrible wedding. There is so much that goes into doing a great job, and you won't find anyone better than Steven. The first impression is always their portfolios. One look at Steven's and you can tell he is an artist. You can tell he does way way more than just stand there and "say cheese". You can tell he has talent, to say the least. The second impression is who this person. Personality is a very big factor on wedding day. It is a very intimate relationship between photographer and bride/groom. You are allowing this person to stare into your lives for that day, and capture very personal and important moments. If you don't trust that person, then it will not be natural and you will not be happy. We trusted Steven from the moment we met him. Why? Because he is genuinely a good person and you cannot fake that. His personality is the perfect balance between he has a job to do that is his livelihood, but he is passionate about his job and truly wants to do his best for you and for himself. We had him shoot our engagement photos as well as our wedding, He went above and beyond for the engagement photos, spent way more time with us than he had to, and made sure he got great shots of us, which he did. The months between our engagement photos and wedding, he was very easy to communicate with, very responsive to questions and concerns, and very prompt with his responses. Again, you can just trust him. Leading up to wedding day, lots of coordinating- between you and photographer, you and wedding site, photographer and wedding planner. Again, Steven was there, no delays, no questions unanswered, no details left unanswered. A true professional. Now comes the big day. If you are the bride, you are probably very emotional, and busy, and here you have a guy who you don't know standing there hours before your wedding, sticking a camera in your face while you are trying to get your hair and make up done. But that is the big difference between a great wedding photographer and an average one. The great ones, like Steven, aren't interfering with you, getting on your nerves, but are still able to get the shots they need. At the wedding, you need the photographer to organize all of those family shots, which can be very tricky. Steven's attitude was great, and all went well. Overall, I can't recommend him enough. He is a really good guy with a whole lot of talent.

Right from the start we just knew, Steven/ Sage Studios Photography was the right match for us. He's a genuine man with a great passion for what he does. His work has talent written all over it. We scheduled our Engagement Shoot with Steven and after Numerous weather delays, and many rescheduling attempts the day finally came, And may I point out that Steven was MORE than accomidating to those delays and rescheduling, he was on top of all of the latest attempts. Where to begin. Steven met myself and Marc over a year ago and we hit it off right away! We just knew between the immense talent Steven has and his down to Earth personality this was the perfect match for us!! Accomadating is na understatement, unfortunately due to non stop weather issues, we had to delay and reschedule our Engagement shoot, NUMEROUS times. BUT, every single time Steven was more than willing to rescheduled until the weather cooperated. Then to top it off spent a great deal of time w/us getting to know us and taking phenomenal Engagement Photos. Me and my husband hired Steven for our save the date / engagement shoot and were absolutely blown away. We Immediately knew he would be with us on our big day. I must start with saying Steven was the first and ONLY photographer we met with. After concluding our consultation with Steven my husband and I knew he was the photographer for us. We immediately canceled our next appointment with another vendor that day. Steven is personable, professional, flexible, and experienced. When he showed us his portfolio, we were sold. Do not let the young face fool you, or make you second guess his area of expertise. During our engagement photo shoot he was outstanding, he made working with him feel stress free and effortless. He was very creative and fun with the posses he suggested. On our wedding day Steven arrived early as he usually does. I had no worries about what he would do nor how he'd handle any given situation that may have risen. When he arrived to my home, I made sure to advise him he could rearrange furniture and do what ever he pleased in order to make his job a bit easier and he did just that. I think it's obvious I had complete trust in his work. When ever I felt we were pressed for time, he was there to reassure me all was going as planned. I can't forget to mention , when he tells you, " You can call me at any time, for anything". He really means it. Steven insisted to stay up till 1:30am one night, trying to help me with the pixels of one of our pictures just so that I could be able to order a canvas frame I really wanted and get an outstanding deal on it when I ordered. Who would honestly do that? Steven would. My husband and I were referred to Sage Studios Photography by a very close friend who also contracted Steven as their wedding photographer, and I must say calling him was one of the best and most important decisions we made for our wedding. We plan to use Sage Studios as our photographer for all special family future events.

On a blessed day, Steven from Sage Studio was an additional blessing. Steven showed up on time, actually a bit early, which turned out to be extremely helpful.
