garden. It has an old Edison feel. The bar and lobby are gorgeous. Getting ready was perfect. We had a huge suite that all the girls could hang out in with tall chairs and mirrors and plenty of outlets. It was connected to two rooms. The honey moon suite is beautiful as well. I loved the Dearborn inn because we got married outdoor at the gazebo, had an outdoor cocktail hour, followed by a beautiful reception in the Alexandria Ballroom. We had 170 guests. Perfect night! Highly recommend this venue!

east twice daily in the weeks leading up to our wedding and she was quick to respond and answer all of my questions. She was there on our wedding day and helped everything go smoothly. The chef was incredible. We met him at our tasting and loved everything. Everyone told me the food at our wedding was the best they had ever had! The staff at The Dearborn Inn were incredible. Our wedding guests said the service at our cocktail hour and during dinner was exceptional. They had multiple people walking around with appetizers and getting the guests beverages. We would have our wedding at The Dearborn Inn again if we could!!! We highly recommend them to anyone looking for avenue with incredible food and outstanding service!

Christie and Paulette continued to provide support and encouragement to us. Thankfully, restrictions were lifted just in time for us to continue on with our dream wedding. The staff at the Dearborn Inn went above and beyond to make sure that our day was perfect. Our guests also agreed that the day turned out amazing. We got married outside under the gazebo and had our cocktail hour outside and held our reception in the ballroom upstairs. Throughout the evening, Paulette and Christie continued to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The food, staff, and grounds were all suburb. The fact that they set up and took down all of the decorations was also a huge bonus. At the end of the night they even delivered all of our things directly to our hotel room. We would also highly recommend holding rehearsal dinner at the Ten Eyck Bar. It was so convenient to be able to have the rehearsal and dinner all in one spot. They allowed us to order directly from the bar menu and made sure that we were well taken care of during this time as well. We can not recommend The Dearborn Inn enough and would happily choose this venue again and again.

He was always willing to answer our questions and provide us the most up to date information and possible next steps. He made planning a wedding in a different state during COVID seamlessly. It is crazy how he is able to note all of the small details and make it all happen like magic! Our family and friends cannot stop talking about how amazing our wedding was and how fabulous the food was. Our whole wedding was exactly how we envisioned it! The ballroom was absolutely beautiful. We were so happy that we selected the Dearborn Inn as our wedding venue and highly, highly recommend to anyone planning to get married. Thank you so much for everything!

Side note- even our really picky, hard to impress guests were raving about the delicious food and generous portions! Jordan (front desk) saved me the night of my rehearsal when I was running super late. Colleen (event coordinator) came up with all sorts of creative solutions & ideas. The banquet servers all seemed genuinely happy. Mo (Banquet Captain) went above and beyond to make the night special! He took the time to note the most popular drink and upgrade it, and gave us our end of the night drink (because we both were too busy to ever have one)! Oh and so much more, I can’t even express how beautiful the day turned out and how perfect the Dearborn Inn was! We’re forever thankful!!

een to. I couldn't be more grateful to our Wedding Coordinator Robert George who made all of our dreams come true. He is the reason why everything was such a success. His meticulous attention to detail and professionalism was profound. He was " the guy to get it done" through the process and far surpassed any expectation I could have ever had. Robert defines going above and beyond. He and the event team were truly vested in the most important day of my life and any ideas that were to follow. From my grand entrance, to special effects, unique surprises for my husband and guests and even carrying the train of my dress through the halls. His genuine interest and care to execute every detail was better than anything I have ever experienced. I never had one worry with the staff at the Dearborn Inn- it was time and money well spent. Event's is what the Dearborn Inn does and it shows, it was perfect and flawless. An experience to always remember. Everything was exceptionally gorgeous. They truly run a 5 star experience from beginning to end and we are so happy we were married at such an exquisite venue. It was AMAZING! Starting with the first meeting with the sales coordinator Jessica to the tasting with the lead server Lori and Kelsey working with Robert it was nothing but pure and utmost special treatment! I even had the pleasure of a conversation with the Director Paulette and every single encounter was phenomenal. They run a remarkable business. It was an unbelievable experience.

The highlight of our experience with Dearborn Inn was our coordinator, Robert George. When we would tell other vendors, such as the bakery, that we were working with Robert, they had nothing but wonderful things to say, and they were right. He helped us through every step of the planning process and we believe that his attention to detail and responsiveness was crucial to our wedding’s success. If we had one tiny critique of the venue, it would be that the housekeeping staff could have been a bit more attentive.

When it came to the day of the wedding, our guests were well taken care of and we got a lot of praise over the delicious food. Seriously, everyone was in love with those chocolate mousse tulips! We also held our rehearsal dinner and post-wedding brunch at the Dearborn Inn and both occasions had amazing food. It’s a beautiful, classic space, and they do their absolute best to accommodate you. We look forward to holding another celebration there upon a milestone anniversary down the road!

rooms for overnight guests which were a mess up on the side of the hotel, not the events team. They were able to fix it but it took a great deal of work for my MIL. Overall, a wonderful Venue with absoloutly incredible food. I would highly recommend this venue to other couples.

We were treated so well during the entire wedding weekend - from the front desk staff, to the bellmen and shuttle drivers, to the brunch staff. They were flexible with a few last minute changes we had, and made sure that all of our wedding guests had everything they needed - including special accommodations for some of our family members. We felt so spoiled throughout the entire weekend. If you're looking for a wedding venue or a place for a room block in metro-Detroit, look no further than The Dearborn Inn! He had the ballroom set up exactly as I had instructed on the day of and was there to help every step of the way. Our guests were so impressed with the grounds/service at the wedding. The only issue we had was when our guests were checking in at the front desk the day of the wedding. There was only one staff member available so the line was quite long. Other than that minor issue we thoroughly enjoyed everything The Dearborn Inn had to offer and are so happy we chose to have our reception there!

families and was promised they'd be in the main building (I provided the reservations numbers on their form months in advance), but BOTH my parents in-law and sister-in-law were put in a separate building. I spent the night I arrived carrying their luggage until 1 am. Half of our guests did not received their gift bag... we received 15 back when checking out. My guests told me the front desk said they ran out of bags or they never arrived. When I questioned the front desk, they wanted ME to tell THEM who didn't receive them. What kind of service is that??? There was important information for out of town guests that was never received. One of my guests received a bag from the WRONG WEDDING. Then to top it all off, they forgot the BRIDE AND GROOM on the last shuttle run from the Henry Ford Museum, and CHARGED US for an additional ride when we called them to come back for us. Because of the way the Dearborn Inn poorly managed our room block and the services we paid for, I left our wedding feeling like an exhausted, unpaid hotel employee after running around cleaning up their mess. Honestly it marred what should have been happy memories, which breaks my heart. Then when my husband voiced this complaints in a follow-up email to Lizzi McNamara, she never responded. We sent the original email in June and had to email her boss in October for her to respond with excuses. We were offered a night's stay for free, but asked for Marriott points instead. I'm never going back to that place.

my grandparents held their special night in 1957. With the accessibility of being two blocks away from my home church and where the ceremony was scheduled to take place, it was too good to be true. From the first minute of booking to the last minute of dancing, everything fell right into place. The Dearborn Inn’s staff knows a thing or two about Wedding’s :) Having decades of experience, I truly enjoyed the planning process never encountering stress. From Mike the manager, Wedding Coordinators and Kitchen staff, every worker is professional, organized and always wearing a smile on their face. Meeting the behind the scenes staff at our February food tasting, life couldn’t get any better and my grandparents were smiling down from Heaven knowing I made the right decision. The food was incomparable and cooked to perfection. Our Bridal Suite and guests hotel accommodations were wonderful and convenient. The grounds were well maintained and the lobby didn’t have a single dust bunny! Our guests are still raving about the Dearborn Ballroom and how beautiful it all was. Now it is my time to boost about our Wedding Coordinator, Paulette O’Connell. Paulette is one in a million. Aka book your reception at the Dearborn Inn and request Paulette O’Connell. She is a great listener, values the importance of time-management, and wants to help exceed all Wedding Pinterest boards. Paulette is a new friend and overall just an amazing person. With my husband being in Medical School and living in Milwaukee, my Mother and Paulette became great friends and I could lean on them with Wedding planning. That right there is what every Bride wants! Being able to trust your vendors, allowing you to be yourself and soak up this once in a lifetime chapter. Did I mention they touch base with all of your other vendors’ weeks before your big day? Cross that off from your to-do list! God has a special way of putting people in your life for the better. Everyone we worked with and alongside for our Wedding changed our life for the better. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU for everything. You allowed me to be the best version of myself, kept things organized and brought happiness to all. You will always have a special place in the Stoming/Thomas family :)

The bridal suite that you are given to get ready in is absolutely perfect for getting ready in with your bridesmaids. Dan was our banquet captain when the reception started. He was so kind and was working hard all night to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. He kept checking in on us to make sure that everything was going great. We were also very happy with our brunch the next morning. The food was good, and the staff was really friendly.
