I LOVE the magic of a wedding, and in a place like Fillmore you truly get to feel the magic! Nothing makes me happier than seeing my clients and guests blown away by the beauty and good vibes of this venue. I started planning weddings and events a little over 10 years ago and working here continues to keep my passion alive. Other passions are traveling with my husband and friends, working out, adventuring with my two dogs and one cat, painting, writing and attending concerts. Fun fact- I also got married at Fillmore so I can give some great advice from a bridal perspective!

Unreal. There are no words to describe how amazing our wedding reception was. The entire staff at the Fillmore was so kind and professional and even helped us pull of a few surprises throughout the night! They were so accommodating and made the night truly magical!!!

I recently held my ceremony and reception at the Fillmore Detroit. The venue was a dream come true -- the beauty of the theatre and surrounding building set the stage for an incredible evening and unforgettable pictures. My guests repeatedly told my husband and me that our wedding was the most unique event that they had ever attended, and I couldn't agree more myself!

The Fillmore is an ideal venue for a wedding reception (and ceremony as well). The building is full of character and ornate beauty. Decorations are really unnecessary when you have such an enviorment to start with. The staff also exceeded my expectations, especially our event coordinator Krysten. She was very attentive and detail oriented. The entire staff was really a pleasure to work with, accomodating many requests for our large wedding. I would recommend this venue to anyone without hesitation!

The Fillmore is the perfect place for a creative couple. While you can have a typical wedding there (and it would be amazing) this place deserves more than typical. We wanted the opposite of what every other Michigan wedding looks like. We had a 1920's themed wedding, with a Cirque du Soliel type of performance by the Detroit Fly House during dinner. During cocktail hour we had a couple of performers doing tricks and things as additional entertainment for out guests. We wanted a champagne tower and my new hubby wanted his bride to saber a champagne bottle. We had a TON of crazy ideas and requests. With every I want or can we, Ashleigh, Krysten or Bruce's responses were "Let me see what I can do". They almost always found a way for us to get what we wanted. Everyone there is accommodating. They want your event to be exactly what you want. If I could redo my wedding the only thing I would change was making sure Ashleigh could be there (she had a prior engagement- we missed her!). The food vendor choices are great (we used cutting edge) and have incredible recommendations for other vendors (flowers, cakes, etc). If you want to wow yourselves & your guests, The Fillmore is the only way to go.

We had our reception last weekend at The Fillmore Detroit and have been getting compliments on the beauty of the venue ever since. My husband and I have been to several concerts at The Fillmore, but never thought we'd be able to use it as a venue until a family friend suggested it. Bruce, Krysten, and the entire team were SO helpful, SO detail-oriented, and SO kind and wonderful for our big day! It's not your typical hall or golf club or ballroom, and that's what we loved about it. There are so many beautiful details around the entire theatre to look at, which definitely saves money on decorations :) The staff was so great the day of the wedding, very attentive! I definitely recommend The Fillmore Detroit to couples who want something a little bit different and a little bit more out of their wedding reception!
