Veltre's Wedding and Event Centre

We had our daughters wedding at Veltres on October 16, 2021. This venue was spectacular ! The food was excellent, which it’s hard to impress the father of bride since he himself is an Executive Chef. You really can not ask for better staff to help make your daughters dream come true. Working with Courtney was a dream. We had so many questions and she graciously answered every single one. Plus she set up one of the most talked about cookie table. Choosing a venue is a big decision and we would choose Veltres again in a heartbeat 💗

Veltre's was the first venue that we went to tour when we got engaged and fell in love immediately! The windows with the most amazing view you could have for a wedding were exactly what we were looking for. Everyone there made every step along the way so easy. Courtney was very quick to respond to my questions throughout the year. Our wedding party loved George! He was extremely helpful day of and our wedding day never would've went so smoothly without him. We had so many compliments on the food and the service that night! Everything was so perfect and couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

Our wedding was here on 10/5/19 and I could not have been happier with Veltre's and everyone that works there. We looked at a couple places, and the first time we walked through there and saw the view and the lounge area, we knew that was the perfect place for us. We rented the whole hall and guests loved eating dinner downstairs and then moving upstairs for dancing and drinks. The communication is amazing and I had all of my questions answered in a timely manner. They helped with so many things and gave us great suggestions, I honestly could not have asked for more with how amazing the staff and owners are. The place is so pretty, that you do not even need that many decorations! We received so many compliments from our guests on how great the food and place was. I will be looking for reasons to have another event there!

Our wedding was October 19, 2019. I can not begin to describe how beautiful this venue is. Every thing from the decor to the view is perfect. Courtney, George and Tony made the wedding planning process so simple. Courtney was there every step of the way to make sure every detail was what we wanted. The food was amazing! We are still getting compliments about how great it was. The staff set up the cookie table and it was absolutely beautiful. If i could do it all over, it would pick Veltre's again and again.

We had our daughter’s wedding at Veltre’s on October 11, 2019 and it was absolutely wonderful ! The Veltre family was so great to work with and were helpful in every way. The venue is beautiful and the view is spectacular ! The food was delicious and the portions were more than generous. Veltre’s is the perfect choice for a wedding!

Our wedding was in September. We are from Atlanta, Georgia but we had our wedding up in Pittsburgh where all my family is at. So as you would imagine planning a out of town wedding can be a struggle. Thankfully Courtney was AMAZING on working with us & making sure everything was exactly how we wanted! The hall itself is absolutely gorgeous and the food is out of sight! All my guests were commenting to me about just how delicious it was & how beautiful the hall is. I would give 10 stars if I could!! Definitely recommend this hall for anyone looking for a venue, it won’t disappoint!

Our wedding was perfect and better than we ever imagined. Veltre's is beautiful, and the food was fantastic! I have no complaints about anything. The place was beautifully decorated, the view is breath taking, and everyone was served promptly. Courtney was amazing to work with and made sure everything was to our liking. Best day ever!

Veltre’s is a hidden gem in New Kensington! The Veltre family is wonderful, organized, and helpful to work with. Every server and bartender was very professional and kind to us and our guests. We had a sit down dinner with the option of Chicken Romano or NY Strip Steak with a vegetable medley and Boursin mashed potatoes. The portions are not only generous, but delicious! Tony was right we he said “no one will leave hungry!” You cannot beat the view from the ballroom! Our guests were raving about the food and the amazing view of the city from the ballroom all night. A wonder reception venue!

My husband and I had our wedding at Veltre's on August 17th, 2019. We were planning our wedding from Central Illinois, which was a daunting task. Courtney worked with us to make sure every aspect of our day was perfect and recommended vendors that she has used, including our DJ (who was AMAZING). She allowed us to customize things as we went along and gave us advice on how to accommodate our out of town guests. There was ample parking in their own private lot for in town guests. We held both the ceremony and reception at Veltre's because the venue is just stunning. Both levels have floor to ceiling window views which our out of town, and in town guests, loved so much. The room where we had dinner had breathtaking chandeliers and Chiavari chairs come standard. Yes, my friends! They come standard! The food is one thing I cannot speak highly enough about. Everyone told me how good their meals were! The shrimp diavolo is insane! I ate every single bite of my food because it was THAT good. Veltre's recipe for wedding soup is out of this world. Order it! Love it! Trust me! The Pittsburgh cookie table is one of my favorite traditions, and besides coordinating who was making what cookies, Courtney and her team set them up beautifully. I didn't have to do a thing. The team who works at Veltre's thinks of every small detail and nails it. From appetizers to hotel accommodations. And from wedding day timelines to day after wedding haul out (they saved all of our extra cookies and cupcakes for us!) I loved this venue and hope we get invited to a wedding here soon (I have been craving their shrimp diavolo ever since our wedding!!!) Book this place, you will NOT be disappointed!

My wedding was a dream come true thanks to Veltre’s. We got married September 7th and everyone said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Courtney and Tony made planning the wedding so easy. George continued to check on me through out the night to make sure everything was running smoothly. The food, the view, and transition up to the lounge for dancing, made my wedding night so perfect!!! I can’t thank thank them enough. The best wedding venue ever!!!

We had our dream wedding reception at Veltres in August! The entire venue is absolutely gorgeous inside and out! I knew the moment I saw the view and the chandeliers, that my search for a wedding venue was over. The food was delicious and our guests were raving about it! Courtney and the staff were beyond accommodating in every way. My questions were answered and my last minute decisions were immediately responded to. Our day was perfect in every way. Looking forward to planning future events here in the future!

Our wedding was August 24th 2019. Everything was perfect. Courtney and Tony were amazing to work with and were very detail oriented and flexible. The food was AMAZING & the venue is absolutely gorgeous. There's nothing like the breathtaking view. Expectations exceeded. Our family and friends are still raving about it!

We just got married on Friday 6/14/19 at Veltre's and it was absolutely perfect! Courtney (Veltre) was great to work with and super accommodating!My mom and I were able to set up Thursday night and the Veltre's staff helped clean up Friday night even though that isn't a service that they offer! In addition to the staff the view is AMAZING! I cannot wait to see all my pics! Thanks Veltre's for the best wedding day ever!!

Veltre’s was such a special place for us to have our July wedding! My husband’s parents were married in the same venue years ago, and it meant so much to us to have our day there. The Veltre family were so great to work with, and were so flexible in letting us set up the day before, and are just nice, caring, people to trust your wedding to. Courtney was awesome to work with--she is very easy to talk to and was always there to answer all of my questions with kindness! Tony was also a pleasure to work with and the food was delicious! My husband and I both have very large families and Veltre’s comfortably fit everyone. We got so many compliments on the venue--especially from my family, many of whom were visiting for the first time. They loved the awesome view--you really can’t say enough about how the windows look out across the valley and over the river. We booked both floors, and so many people loved that you were able to have a seated dinner, and then a communal dance party upstairs. It really helped everyone to mingle and hang out in a fun environment. We were so, so, happy with how everything turned out and can’t say thank you enough!

They were beyond any expectations! Absolutely fantastic!!!!! The entire family worked with us to pull this wedding and make it the best it could be on our special day. Courtney was easy to work with. They were priced right! We loved the food tasting we did ahead of time. All the food was amazing! Our guests felt welcomed and didn’t go home hungry. The layout is comfortable and private. There was plenty of room to spread out. The views in the fall were breathtaking.

We had our wedding this past weekend and I cannot thank the Veltre family enough. It is the most beautiful Venue. Not only is the food phenomenal ( btw we are still getting compliments on it) the family is so kind and helpful. The whole time during our wedding they made sure everything was going the right way and kept checking on us . We can’t thank them enough for giving us the best wedding . Also huge thank you to Courtney for keeping in touch with me for the whole and year and making the planning process so easy for us!!

My husband and I held a small fall wedding reception at Veltre’s. They were very accommodating especially considering it was planned on short notice and from out of state. They were very organized which helped our big day go very smoothly. The view, food, and price are unbeatable. I would recommend Veltre’s for any event!

My brother and sister in law had their wedding there on Oct 27. The venue is absolutely beautiful & the view is amazing. When you walked in the hall the set up was unbelievable. The owners(VELTRE'S) were very organized helpful & accomodating. Staff was very courteous. Food was excellent. Good people. Best place in the Burgh to have a great event.

My son got married on Oct 27, 2018. The place is beautiful. Food was excellent. Everyone was very professional. Everything ran smooth from start to finish. They acomated all our wants and needs in decorations and decor. By far this is the best place in Pittsburgh to have a wedding for the view, food, price and staff.

My son was married on Oct. 6, 2018 and his reception was at Veltre's Wedding and Event Centre. The venue is absolutely beautiful with a spectacular view. The room is spacious with lovely round tables, classy silver chairs and beautiful chandeliers. The meal was fabulous. People are still commenting to us how delicious the meal was. The servers were so professional in appearance. Tony and his family went out of their way to make the wedding reception a night to remember. Thank you for all your help. You guys are the best!!!!

The food, the view, and the versatility (experienced staff and types of rooms) of the Veltre's event center that I think make it stand far above other venues, in terms of wedding day experiences. My family (who are from out of state) are still raving about the dinner, the late night snacks, the view.. the list goes on. In addition, as I learned that the several-month experience of planning the wedding is also a big part of 'the day', this is where Veltre's also really shines. They worked so hard to make (and were really effective!) the planning & coordination prior to the event easy for us. They have a lot of experience working with many different vendors (florists, DJs, bands). We couldn't have been luckier to have our wedding at Veltre's!

I got married in June 2018 at Veltre's (ceremony and reception) and have incredibly fond memories of the entire day. The view, the food (filet! Italian dogs!), and hospitality of the Veltre family stood out to all those who attended the wedding, including guests from over 20 different states. The view is really spectacular and we loved that our out of town guests (many who had never been to Pittsburgh before) were able to absorb the feel of the area while at our ceremony and reception. In full disclosure, Courtney Veltre-Rider (who coordinates many of the events at Veltre's) is also my sister in law. However, I watch her and her family tirelessly plan for and care about every single bride and groom that have their wedding at Veltre's. They really really care about their clients. Thank you Veltre family!

Our wedding was in April 2018 and I couldn't imagine it to be any more beautiful than what we received from Courtney, Tony and the Veltres Wedding crew! Courtney & Tony made the planning process so easy (I planned from California!). They ensured every single detail was addressed and the night was perfect. The menu was amazing (from Vegan for myself and my husband, to soups for our grandparents and the combo chicken & steak) - our guests are still raving about dinner. The views, the decor, the specialty cocktails & appetizers, the dessert table and of course the special request that was delivered making all our guests go crazy for more- the Italian dogs... everything was outstanding. The amount of work the team did to make our day our dream wedding went beyond what was expected and we couldn't be more grateful. Future brides, don't look anywhere else because I truly believe you can't receive more care than what you'll receive at Veltres Wedding and Event Center. Thank you guys!

My daughter's wedding was held here in May. We had a great food tasting right before, and everything was so good. The View was perfect. The staff was helpful. I would recommend this venue!

This venue was PERFECT! The view was phenomenal, the cocktail hour and reception set up was perfect, the staff was friendly, personable, and accommodating, the food was excellent... there are not enough great things I can say. Planning a wedding at this venue was super easy and affordable! Our guests raved about our wedding and are still talking about it! They couldn't take enough pictures of the beautiful venue and the scenery out the windows. To top it off, the sunset was perfect! If you are looking for a unique and elegant wedding location, this is IT!

Booking Veltre's as my wedding venue 2 years ago was probably the best decision we made for our wedding day! Every single guest was in awe of the venue and the view, and not to mention the AMAZING food and staff! Courtney was so helpful and patient with us, as we had a whole hall rental. We did our cocktail hour upstairs, our reception downstairs, and an after party in the lounge upstairs! It was beautiful, the staff was so great, everything turned out perfect, the views were breathtaking, and we had an amazing time. I am so sad that it is over because I loved being in there! I will definitely be booking Veltre's again for anything I can in the future! 100000% recommend if you want the best experience!

There are not enough words to describe how perfect Veltres is for a wedding venue. I knew from the first time I walked through the door that I wanted to have my wedding there, and I could not be more pleased with everything! From the absolute beginning and through our wedding day, Courtney, Tony, and Donna were an absolute pleasure to work with. Every step of the way they were on top of everything and excellent at communication. They are so friendly and we were so comfortable with them the entire time. They all went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and we had everything we wanted. Our wedding was a fairytale thanks to Veltres. Our day was perfect. The staff was spectacular, and the food was outstanding. There is not another venue that even comes close to competing with Veltres in my opinion. Our guests have been raving about the food nonstop and I can honestly say it was the best food I have ever had at a wedding! If I had to do it all over again I would choose Veltres every time. I could go on and on about how perfect and special our wedding was. We are so thankful we had the opportunity to have our reception at Veltres.

WOW is all I can say! We chose Veltre's because of their beautiful venue and delicious food. With classic and elegant decor and an absolutely STUNNING view, we loved the fact that we could let the venue speak for itself and keep our decorations to the minimum. Everyone told us that we wouldn't even eat at our wedding--let me tell you, we did! When we did our taste-testing (myself, husband, and both sets of parents) we honestly did not have a bad bite! Courtney and Tony were so flexible and worked with us to create a great menu at a very reasonable price. Our set up was a breeze because we used their table numbers, vases, and votive holders. They also made the cookie table process a breeze. Thank you for making our day so special!

We had our reception at Veltre's and the experience was fair close to flawless. They were incredibly easy to work worth, polite staff, excellent food, and a beautiful view. The site is absolutely gorgeous and we needed hardly any additional decor. We used the whole upstairs of the site. We used the fireside room for our Cocktail hour, moved into the main dining room for dinner, and then into the spectacular lounge for more drinks and dancing. My guests said that the site was beautiful and the food was delicious. I really felt that the staff went above and beyond their contract for us. I highly recommend having your event with this venue.

We decided to have our daughter Jessica’s wedding at Veltres Event Center. The venue itself is beautiful, from the crystal chandeliers to the amazing veiw. The food was prepared with great care, and exceptional. We chose the buffet and were very impressed by how orderly and expeditiously our dinner was finished, the lights were turned down and our guests made their way to the dance floor. It was nightfall and combined with the lights the veiw was even more spectacular, almost heavenly. The always present staff was very helpful and willing to accommodate. In closing , I cannot thank the Veltres enough! Our daughters wedding was everything we expected and more, due to the attention to every detail. Once again, I would highly recommend Veltres to make your event truly memorable experience.

This venue is incredible ! Had our daughters wedding there June 2017 and could not have asked for anything more special. The entire process was seamless from beginning to end , the staff is incredibly helpful and is always available for questions etc. Aside from the best view in Pittsburgh the food was amazing , we had a room of 160 fed in under 15 mins and everyone raved about it. Most of all it was the work ethic and thoughtfulness of this family owned business that made this such a wonderful and easy process for our family And we cannot thank them enough. If you have not checked this venue out for your special day , definitely put this one on your list

We had our wedding reception at Veltre's Wedding and Events Centre, and our experiences from start to finish were excellent. The staff is accessible, responsive, and remarkably accommodating; they truly understand that there isn't a "one size fits all" for any event, and they went above and beyond in making our reception everything we had dreamed. We rented the downstairs space, and had around 110 people at the event. There was plenty of space to move around while not making the space appear too big or empty. The space is decorated elegantly, and they were flexible with changing the layout to best suit our needs. The food selections were all very well made, and it was hard to choose which items made the cut for our guests! Veltre's is well-staffed, and they are clearly experienced with serving and accommodating to a banquet hall full of people. Veltre's worked with us and made everything perfect. We couldn't be happier!

This venue is AMAZING! The view, the staff, the food, and the hands on owners make the entire experience phenomenal from day one. Our guests raved about literally every single thing and we're left breathless by the view. The Veltre family makes you feel like you are part of their family. They genuinely care about every detail that goes into your special day. I can't say enough great things about our experience. I highly recommend this venue to any couple looking to have an unbeatable wedding!

There is so much good to say that I don't know where to start. Everything was so beautiful and smooth from beginning to end ,it lets you truly Have the best day of your life. Veltres has the best view in Pittsburgh and the food was incredible ! As another reviewer said it's the little things and the personal touches that make this the best venue in the area. And highly, HIGHLY recommend to everyone !!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Veltre's!!!! The entire staff is wonderful and extremely easy to work with. They are very organized and reliable. They made our day extra special with all of their extra touches and are beyond professional!!! We got more compliments on the food - which was beyond outstanding!!!! The bartenders and multiple bars made it easy for our guests to get drinks, the view is breathtaking, the setup was perfect and flowed smoothly, the newly renovated venue and decor was beautiful, and there is plenty of parking! The staff is just amazing and such hard workers - they made the wedding planning process extremely easy, enjoyable, memorable, and fun!!! Our guests were in awe over the venue and view! Absolutely stunning/perfect venue for a wedding!!!

We had our wedding here in September 2017 and I am still hearing people rave about it. Everything was perfect from the view, food, ambiance and employees. I cannot speak highly enough of this venue. They did an amazing job renovating the space - it hardly needs much decor because it is just so simply beautiful! You cannot go wrong!

We had Veltre's cater for our wedding reception at Riverside Landing in Oakmont. They did a wonderful job, and we have no complaints. The food was delicious, (especially the shrimp diavalo), everything looked beautiful, and the staff were friendly. We had a problem with the hall the morning of our wedding that caused a napkin fiasco, and when the hall manager was unwilling to remedy the situation, Veltre's stepped in to try and solve the problem. One of my biggest regrets from the day is that I didn't have someone photograph the hall all set up before guests arrived. Donna Veltre called me two weeks after my wedding and told me she photographed the hall for us and was sending us the pictures! They definitely go above and beyond, and you can tell they have pride in their work. We were invited to two food tastings before the wedding to help us decide on who to choose, and on choosing a menu. They were at My Cup of Tea in Oakmont. It was very inviting and they were so kind and helpful throughout the process. Just before our wedding day we had a discrepancy with the hall manager about something, and Tony Veltre stood up for us to help us get it resolved. They truly care about their customers and their service. I would recommend Veltre's Italian Kitchen to anyone.

They did an amazing job! The food was great! Thanks again! The only thing they forgot to do was follow the instructions for the cookies!

I can't say enough how wonderful the food was at our reception. Everyone has told me it was the best wedding food they ever had. Our DJ also said it was the best, and he has been to a lot of weddings. Tony Veltre is great to work with, he provided a delicious array of appetizers included in the price, he has a great selection of food. Tony also provided decorations for the appetizer table and for the cookie table. I had no worries about anything and we had some leftovers to take home (not many though, because everyone had seconds!)
