Dance Moms alum Brooke Hyland and boyfriend Brian Thalman are engaged! The former reality TV dancer, 26, confirmed the happy news on Instagram on May 6, writing, "Learned that he's almost as tall as me on one knee — here's to today, tomorrow, & forever after that 💍."
The bride-to-be shared a carousel of photos from the proposal, which took place at Frick Park in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In the slideshow, the fiancés could be seen celebrating with a large group of friends and family, including Hyland's sister, Paige, and their mom, Kelly (better known as Dance Mom Kelly).

According to People, Brooke Hyland's engagement ring is Brilliant Earth's Sydney Perfect Fit ring, which features a 3.25-carat elongated cushion-cut diamond on an 18K yellow gold band.
After the proposal, the couple celebrated their milestone with loved ones over brunch in Pittsburgh. The duo told People they intend to have a larger engagement party this summer.

Brooke Hyland and Brian Thalman met in December 2021 while she was visiting Pittsburgh for the holidays. "At the time, she was living in Austin, Texas," Thalman told People. "Her cousin, who is my close friend, introduced us to one another. We did long distance for a few months before Brooke moved back to Pittsburgh."
The couple made their social media debut in March 2022, with Hyland posting a picture covering her boyfriend's face alongside the caption, "soft launch."
The two share a dog, Jack, and often post photos of their travels around the world, including trips to Mexico, California and Florida.
After retiring from dance in 2014, Hyland made her return to the entertainment industry when she appeared in the 2023 movie The Man in the White Van.
