Genesis Events was perfect for our wedding ! We used their DJ & MC with their uplighting package. DJ Ikonic was exactly what we were looking for for our music. He kept the dance floor packed all night with seamless transitions between great songs and mixed in a variety of different music. He worked in all of our requests seamlessly and had great taste. Our MC, Brandon, was similarly amazing. He kept the event schedule moving with great energy and was an excellent communicator with us on any small tweaks we needed to make to the reception schedule. The uplighting also added a perfect touch. Leading up to the event the team was receptive to our requests and their questions regarding song requests, timing of the event, special things we wanted to do like group pictures, etc were very thorough and comprehensive so we felt that we were in great hands for the big day. We loved working with Genesis!

They are literally the best!

We hired Genesis Events for our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! Damien and team were at 100% throughout the night! They did an excellent job setting the vibe and getting everyone hyped up. Our family and friends were dancing all night and had a blast! We had a mix of Bollywood/hip hop/Latin/pop and the Genesis team did an amazing job of transitioning between each. We had so many people complimenting our DJ choice and asking for their contact details. They were so professional throughout the planning process and very quick to respond and patient as we went back and forth on a few things. They were the best and we couldn’t have been happier with the Genesis team! We also did a 360 Photo Booth for our event which was a big hit with our guests. Highly recommend Genesis Events!

Damian and Genesis are amazing! We had our wedding at Sand Castle on 10/20/2022 and needed an English and Spanish MC and DJ who understood how to DJ properly for New Yorkers and Latinos! Just like Alex Sensation does from 97.9. Damian said him and DJ Unico were the perfect people for the job. They hit the nail right on the head! All of our guests told us how amazing they were and they kept the party flowing perfectly and beautifully all night. We told them we wanted nice bachata in the beginning and nice old school salsa as well for the elders in our family to dance to and enjoy. Then we wanted that gradually switched up to Hip Hop, Reggae, Reggaeton, and just hype music to keep the party going. They executed this vision PERFECTLY! Damian does an awesome job as a MC and keeping the party’s flow exactly how you request! I’d hire these guys for any party, any time! We loved everything! Also, we had FOUR different wedding dates due to COVID (and then me getting pregnant during this time as well). Damian was always able to accommodate our new dates and seamlessly reschedule. Just hands down, THE BEST!

We just used Genesis Events for our wedding in August and they were amazing! Our guests all said the music was phenomenal and it was the best mc and dj (Damian and Yanni) they've had at a wedding. They were super easy to work with and made our night feel so like so much fun. I couldn't recommend them more!

I cannot put into words how amazing Genesis was! Damian was our MC..he is SO talented, pure perfection. He took time out to get to know us and did every single thing we asked him to. He is truly so good at what he does. The DJ (I belive Yianni) played the best music ever; exactly what we asked for. And we also had a percussionist who was so talented and so much fun. They allowed karaoke and allowed us to play the drums. They made our night perfect. I would recommend Genesis to everyone!!

Damian Ramos was the person who helped us plan. Fabio was our MC. I believe the DJ's name spelling was Yianni. his company has done so many of my family's weddings as well. -THEY JUST KILL IT EVERY. DAMN. TIME. I gave them some pretty specific guidance as I love to dance and had a vision. They executed it and up-leveled it from there. They even made us a custom mix for our first dance. Within the first hour of the wedding 4 different people came up to me to ask for the DJ's information -- they're just the best. plain and simple. BOOK THEM NOW!!!

Genesis Events was just an okay vendor for our wedding. The music was solid, and the MC got people up dancing. However, I was pretty disappointed in the lack of preparation when they arrived at my venue. I had a lot of contact with the company prior to the wedding day, yet there were a few issues that arose. When they were trying to set up the photo slideshow to be played during dinner they said they only brought a USB stick with them, even though I gave them a head’s up prior to the wedding that an HDMI hookup was needed. Thankfully I brought my laptop and HDMI cable just in case. They tried to hook up their USB to my computer, but nothing was on it. I, the bride, had to step away from my own cocktail hour for at least 15 minutes to work on my laptop to make sure the pictures were ready to be played. Not only this, but I had a slideshow for my father/daughter dance – as my dad passed away last year – and I would not have been able to have this extremely meaningful slideshow play had I not been prepared just in case something went wrong. I almost started to cry at the thought that may not be played because the company didn’t listen to my request. The DJ said we should have gotten a video package and it would not be an issue – not the best thing to say to a bride stepping away from her cocktail hour to fix their mess. They also did not honor our song requests during cocktail hour – another meaningful moment since these were songs in memory of our grandparents. They also were in charge of our photo booth, and they shut it down during dinner and the machine got jammed so people couldn’t get their printouts. Though no one noticed all of these issues, it definitely added unnecessary stress to mine and my husband’s day and I would not recommend this vendor.

When it comes to the music and entertainment from our wedding through Genesis Events, it is hard to sum up how INCREDIBLE they made our evening. Our DJ Yianni and MC Fabio literally turned our wedding into the greatest party we have been to in years. We were very low key/limited with our requests, and basically asked them to keep the party going all night. They DID NOT disappoint. I can truly say every single guest danced the entire night whether they were 18 or in their 70s. The dance floor was PACKED. We had countless texts and messages over the next week from family and friends raving about the entertainment with comments such as: "They are still sore from dancing," "They felt like they were 21 again," (in the best way possible), "The lighting and music together was like being in a high-end night club," or "They just ordered bongos on Amazon" (the bongo guy was evidently a huge hit as well)!! A friend of ours who had given us this recommendation had said "Yianni and Fabio are the best in the game," and we now can say that this is 1000% true. They felt the vibe of the guests, and just went with it giving us an unbelievable variety of music and entertainment. Thank you for making our wedding one of the most memorable nights of our lives.

What a wonderful company! I unfortunately never got the chance to use Genesis Events for my June wedding of 2020 due to it being canceled of COVID-19. I saw them at a wedding couple years back and Damien was the MC and I always remember them very well because of how fantastic they were. Since the moment I booked them, to the craziness of this year, they have been nothing but kind, understanding, and great to work with! It breaks my heart I didn’t get to use them this year but I will certainly be using them if I have a future event! I would look no further than Genesis Events!

Genesis was the best entertainment I could have ever asked for. Reliable, Present, Punctual, Professional, but more importantly FUN!!! I danced on a cloud, fireworks went off throughout the night, the Photo Booth was an amazing addition and above all the music my dj played was on point! The options they offer and provide are endless! I am a dance studio owner and teacher and my expectations where high. Genesis met ever expectation I could have dreamed of. I had the best MC I could have ever dreamed of! Damian Ramos is the real thing! He entertained with his entire heart! We sang and danced the entire night away! All my guest, especially my dance floor could feel his energy and love! I highly recommend booking them for your wedding. You will not be disappointed!!!! Genesis Events did a fantastic job at our wedding a month ago! They provided the DJ, MC, photo booth and venue up-lighting for our wedding reception at Ethan Allen Hotel. The music is so important for setting the vibe of the night, and DJ Joe and MC Glyde really hit it out of the park! We were a bit worried when they said they would not need a specific song list as other couples told us they compiled a song list for the whole night (ugh so happy we did not have that huge task on our wedding to do list), but based on our music preferences, they picked the perfect songs! They got everyone out on the dancefloor and our guests had the best time. Joe and Glyde did a great job keeping the tempo of the reception and keeping our guests excited without being obnoxious or pushy. Our friends and family had a blast with the open-air photo booth! There are so many funny and spontaneous shots that only a photo booth can elicit. Thank you again Joe and Genesis Events for helping put on the celebration of our dreams!

5 stars! We used Genesis Events for our wedding on 9.1.19 and it was the best decision I made! Damian is hands-down the greatest MC! He had everyone on their feet, smiling all night long! Everything was perfect, from the entrances to the dancing. Very professional, I would definitely recommend!

Genesis Events went above and beyond for our wedding! I can safely say that Joe (the manager), our MC (Waldo) and the entire crew are solely responsible for our wedding being described by many of our guests as "the best wedding" they've been to in a long time. If having an upbeat, fun, and personalized wedding is important to you I highly recommend this company!!! A++

We loved Genesis for our wedding. We also added on with the Saxophone and percussion and it was all the perfect mix! The saxophone was amazing during the cocktail hour and then even more perfect during the reception. Damien was so fun and upbeat and listened to everything I had to say. Our guests still rave about how much fun it was and how great the DJ was. Cannot recommend enough!!

We rented LOVE letters for the night in place of a photo booth. Everyone loved it and I thought that it added to what we had going on in the room. I just wish they didn’t zoom out so we could have thanked them because everyone loved taking pictures with the sign!

Damian Ramos and his crew at Genesis Events provided the musical entertainment for our daughter's epic Sweet 16 event and we could not have made a better choice. We explained exactly what we were looking for and they delivered above and beyond!!! The Genesis Events team kept us all dancing and having fun all night long. Our guests are still calling to tell us how much they enjoyed themselves. They were highly professional, extremely pleasant to work with and kept the entire evening running smoothly from start to finish. I would highly recommend Genesis Events to anyone looking for top notch musical entertainment and DJ services for their extra special even to help them create wonderful memories that will last a lifetime .

BEST entertainment company EVER!!!!! So my wife and I got married at the beginning of March 2019 at Sand Castle in Franklin Square (which if you haven't checked out I highly recommend) and decided to go with Genesis Events for all the entertainment at our wedding. We definitely made the RIGHT CHOICE. We purchased their Gold package with some extra add on's and our guests can't stop commenting on how well the reception went. From our first meeting with Damian to the day of events, everyone there was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We had WALDO as our MC, and STEFAN as our DJ and they did an amazing job. The package we purchased included multiple add on's that the guests were raving about. From dancing on a cloud, indoor sparklers, photo booth and even something my wife wanted an electric saxophone. The entire crew of Genesis did an outstanding job with directing us throughout the night during the formalities which feels a lot different when its your wedding but they made it feel so easy, it was obvious they know what they are doing and make sure you are having a great time as well. We also went with some recommendations from Damian and hired Maria for our Invitations, seating board and a whole bunch of other details which we would of forgot about if not for her guiding us through everything. Thanks MARIA your awesome. On recommendation from Damian we hired Gaspare Maniscalco for Videography and Rosanna Distefano for Photography and were ecstatic with both our beautiful film and all the amazing photos we had of our special day. It was obvious everyone at Genesis events had tremendous knowledge in the wedding industry. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND GENESIS EVENTS FOR ANY PARTY THAT YOU ARE HAVING!!!!!!

They are the best DJ/MC ever! This team knows how to get a party going. They had everyone dancing from playing oldies to trap music and everyone loved it! I got so many compliments saying that this is the best music that they've heard at a wedding. I even had a few people who were recently married tell me that they loved this DJ. One recent bride even said that Genesis was so much better than their own DJ! If I wasn't being pulled away all night you better believe I would've been on the dance floor all night long.

Genesis Events was the first vendor we booked after our venue, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. They came highly recommended by our wedding planner Eileen from the Ethan Allen Hotel, and we were quickly able to tell that they would be one of the highlights of our wedding. We spoke with them to discuss the type of atmosphere and music that we wanted for our wedding, and they knocked it out of the park. Everyone from our youngest to oldest guests commented on what a great job they did, so much so that the grooms father asked if they were available for his daughters upcoming wedding as well. The only complaint that one of the guests had was they were worried that they played too many great songs at the beginning and they would run out of hits to play. At the end of the night that guest made it a point to tell us that the hits kept on coming. The MC was funny, personable, and got everyone up on the dance floor from the first song to the last dance, and the DJ took all of our musical suggestions and turned it into a party for the ages. We would gladly (and have gladly) recommend Genesis Events to all of our family and friends after the amazing job they did with our wedding.

These guys are amazing! My wife and I struggled for months to find a DJ that would fit our needs. We had met and spoken to plenty of arrogant DJs who charges insane prices and had such obnoxious personalities that we just couldn’t justify giving them our money. A coworker of mine recommended this company just in time! And boy we're we happy! From the planning to the execution we couldn't of been happier! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We used this service this past weekend and the DJ was amazing. The environment was lively and the music played was absolutely perfect!

We knew we wanted Genesis as our DJ 3 years before our wedding- at my sister in law's wedding. We walked out of that wedding saying if we got married- That would be our DJ. and it was! We chose Damian who is such an incredible Emcee. He knows how to work the crowd, without getting in the way and Joe knows what music to play to get and keep everyone on the dancefloor. All our guests said their feet hurt from dancing so much the entire day after, but they had the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. The Zap Photographer got some really amazing memories captured in the dancefloor shots and the photo booth was a hit, although it had some glitches. They played music for cocktail hour as well and all the music throughout the whole night was really well done without us having to tell them too many instructions. We're nothing but ecstatic with Genesis and wish they would do every party we ever have! You will NOT be disappointed. They collaborate with our venue and photographer all the time so it was a really seamless night.

They came highly recommended and did an amazing job. Everyone at Genesis events was so helpful and professional. They communicated well and were easy to talk to anytime I had a question or concern. They did an amazing job at the wedding and Fabio our MC got everyone on the dance floor. I had So many people coming up to me saying the DJ was awesome and it was the most fun they had at a wedding. We made the best choice and recommend Genesis events 100%!

I wanted to take a second to write a review for the most amazing entertainment company. They completely outdid themselves yesterday at my wedding. Fabio had the entire room ( almost 200 people) on the dance floor all night long. Every one is still texting me saying how amazing the DJ & MC were. I hit the jackpot when I chose genesis !!!

I wish I could give 10 stars. Damian really listened to our ideas and delivered. He exceeded our expectations and my guests kept telling me how great they thought the DJ was. The party had a great flow and everyone was up and dancing all night. Thank you for a great evening.

Genesis was absolutely amazing throughout our entire wedding planning process. They are the house DJ at floral terrace where we got married so when we went to their showcase we got to see all the different MCs. We knew right off the bat that we needed Fabio at our wedding. His energy and personality could light up any room. When we initially booked genesis we didn’t realize that we would be using them for a lot more than just DJ services. We ordered our invitations through them, Maria is amazing!!! So patient and understanding. She will walk you through every step of the way. She listens to your wants and needs and does everything she can to make sure every detail is just right. We also used their photo booth as well as created a personalized step and repeats. Our guests loved every thing that came out of genesis events! Especially Fabio!!

We loved working with Genesis Events for our March 2018 wedding! They were so organized and really helpful in directing us through the wedding process. Damian (our MC) did a great job with our guests and kept the dance floor alive all night! We also appreciated their attention to detail when it came to our musical preferences - they were very thorough and we loved all of the music! Lastly, Damian continued to check in with my husband and I throughout the day to ensure we stayed on track. Very much appreciated! Definitely recommend Genesis to anyone planning a wedding or other event!

I hired Genesis for my wedding this past Friday (April 6, 2018) Best decision I made. Everything I ordered was set up exactly as promised, no issues, no mistakes, no items forgotten. Fabio was our MC, who has the best personality. He makes you want to literally hang out with him all night. I had people coming up to me saying that this was the best wedding they've ever been to and the MC is a huge part of that. He made annoying, old traditions fun and exciting again, just by throwing in his own fun touches to things like the bouquet toss, and garter. I can't say enough nice things, they're fantastic, from Maria, to joe to damian and ESPECIALLY FABIO.

Genesis Events is amazing!!! We had the pleasure of having MC Damian and DJ Amaro and all I can say is that I still have guests asking me who we hired as our MC and DJ and our wedding was in October. Damian was funny and kept everyone hyped. They had people dancing all night long and made my Honduran family and Dominican family very happy. They were also able to include a Hora Loca which we requested and everyone loved. When we met with Damian a few weeks before the wedding we told him that we trusted him and his team and other than a few songs that we picked to be played we just wanted them to go with what they thought was best, and I can honestly say Damian and Amaro did not disappoint.

I honestly don't even know where to start. People will not stop talking about our DJ and MC. We booked with Genesis because they did my sister-in-law's wedding back in 2016. Her MC was Fabio and he was so great! But when we went to book we met Damien and we had an instant connection with him (we even have matching ring tones). From day one he was excited to be a part of our day and was accommodating of all of our requests leading up to the wedding. The day of, Damien and the DJ blew us away. They had everyone hyped up for our entrances, all of our ceremony music was right, our first dance song was a little complicated as it was a specific version of a song, they got everything right. Nobody sat during the reception, people were itching to finish eating so they could get back on the dance floor. Damien danced with my wife, my grandma and everyone else. He partied with us all night, it was like we were hanging out with friends. Our photo booth was a HUGE hit, there was always a line to get in. I can honestly say Genesis is the best entertainment company out there. People are still calling us to tell us how great they were and how awesome our music was. Even the girl who works at the front desk loves us. You can't go wrong booking with them. We've already recommended them to all of our other friends getting married! We love Genesis!

Genesis was the first vendor we met with and booked. I knew the minute I saw their wedding videos I HAD to have them. I met with one of the owners Fabio and instantly him and my husband clicked because they are both Italian and from the same town in Italy. When speaking to Fabio he wrote down everything I asked for and really worked with us on the price. On the day of the wedding, Fabio went above and beyond for us. Our ceremony music fell through the day before and Fabio showed up with his computer and music ready to play my ceremony music, something we never planned with him but he found out from Mohammed. Fabio made our wedding a HIT with our guests. Since he is Italian he was able to play good Italian music for my husbands side of the family and then Spanish music for my family! From the minute you walked into our ballroom, it was like you were walking into a NYC Nightclub which was just what we wanted. He made our guests laugh at his jokes, and got everyone to get up and dance the night away! The most special part for me was the fact Fabio was able to put together not only a slideshow of my husband and I’s favorite pictures but also a collage of my brother and I to display on the screen when the DJ played my brothers favorite song. It meant SO much to me that Fabio showed how much he cared. I would recommend genesis over and over again and would never use another DJ. They are AMAZING!

Our wedding was at the Sand Castle August, 2017. My husband and I initially experienced the talents of Genesis Events during a Bridal Showcase. We were looking for a trendsetting, energetic, personable and entertaining group to keep our guest engaged and entertained. We found it all with GENESIS EVENTS! The customer service and expert advice from the entire group was impeccable. Fabio and my husband developed a nice bond, needless to say Fabio was our MC GENIUS!!! We WOWED our guest with the Red Carpet entrance as they struck a pose and were given framed photos as favors. Maria was extremely patient as we requested to use the original monogram from our wedding invitations on the backdrop. Once we provided the monogram, the art department provided us various selections to choose from. The end product was exactly what we envisioned. The DJ did an amazing job looping the bridal party’s entrance song into the ceremony. It was started too soon because the song played as the Pastor presented but he kept it playing endlessly. As I, the bride made my grand entrance the violinist played Pachelbel Cannon D lovingly. The exuberating bridal party entrance got the crowd up out of their seats and ready to party! Fabio announced the indigenous names of our bridal party as if he’d known them all along. Details we didn’t think of was seamlessly taken care of and the grand entrance for the bride and groom was GRAND INDEED! First dance and second dance songs were on point with the perfect lighting to enhance the moment. For example, the second dance song was “Lady in Red” and Fabio changed the room lighting to red. It was gorgeous! The dancing was nonstop to tasteful music selections and the acoustics drummer was the perfect touch. The montage and snap shots were invaluable as we enjoyed looking at them for days preceding the professional photos. It was exciting sharing a few shots with the guest and they are still raving about our wedding! Genesis was our favorite vendor by far. They did a truly terrific job. They gave us way more than we expected, including handing over a book of all the selfies people took at the photo booth at the end of the wedding. This was an incredibly special touch and allowed us to look them over the very next day and laugh. The zap shot photos Genesis took ended up being better quality and better taken than the TWO photographers we paid for. Finally, our DJ, God Bless him. He had to deal with a Romanian band that couldn't be stopped and he handled everything so professionally and with such a great attitude. He never stopped smiling. Thank you Genesis, we would recommend anyone else!

Genesis Events did such an amazing job at our wedding. They were easy to work with, knowledgeable and very helpful! They got everybody up and dancing. There was never a moment that everyone was not out on the dance floor. Besides the formal wedding songs, we had left everything else up to them and they did not disappoint! They obviously know what they are doing and how to keep the party going! We also booked our photo booth through them and it was great! They provided props and a book for a copy of everyone’s pictures! We definitely recommend Genesis, you will not be disappointed!

We met with Joe initially and liked how honest & straightforward he was. We ended up going to a showcase at the Sand Castle because we never saw them perform live & wanted to see how the available MCs (Jason & Armado) were in person. The day of the showcase, Jason was not there (we were not informed of this prior), but it didn't matter because we really liked Armado. We met with Joe again to officially book with Genesis and requested that Armado was our MC. The day of our wedding we had a different MC, Jason. I didn't say anything about it because I wasn't too concerned, but I was a little annoyed that we specifically requested Armado and was not told that he was not coming. However, Jason was great and so was our DJ, John. Overall, I think the music was great and our guests had an amazing time which was all that mattered. There were definitely little details that I wish could have been better, but it did not deter from the overall experience.

A-MAZING! Professional during meetings and sensitive to the needs of our aging parents. Damian our MC put on s fantastic show. My guests could not have had a better time they say. We had booked our wedding with Damien after seeing Genesis Events at a bridal showcase, but the day of, he did not show. The replacement MC informed us at the wedding, and he was good, but I was a little upset I didn't have any prior knowledge that Damien was not going to be there. I wish I could remember the MCs name, but at that point, I was all over the place. However, the dance floor was packed the entire night. There were times I wished the song choices were better, and the songs we requested to be played never were, but it didn't ruin the night. The only things I didn't like, was our venue had multiple speakers which could be individually adjusted and when my step-mom asked for sections to be lowered, they wouldn't listen to her and I needed to stop what I was doing to make sure they would listen to her. Our wedding song also had some quality issues. But at the end of the day, all our guests were up and dancing, and that's all that matters. The little details only bothered me, and my husband and all the guests thought they did an amazing job.

I recently met with Damian and he is by far the nicest, most personable and dedicated DJ out there. I was so nervous going to vendor meetings bc I have been doing it alone since my fiancé works multiple jobs and I just kept feeling like I was being taken advantage of. NOT WITH DAMIAN!!! He made me feel so comfortable and worked with me to build an amazing package in my price range!! I highly recommend Damian!!!!

We initially met with Damien, who was our preferred MC for our wedding night. Damien is kind, friendly, and a bit nerdy; which fit our vibe as a couple perfectly. The prices Damien quoted us fit into our budget, and he was very helpful with planning out our music needs, as well as booking our photo booth. Our meeting immediately prior to the wedding date (about 2 weeks before) was not with Damien, but went extremely smoothly. The staff at Genesis is kind, and very relaxed. We reiterated our desire to have Damien as our MC at that time. Although we didn't have every song picked out just yet for the night, we were told not to worry, and to just email in the rest of our selections. Maria contacted us before the event to finalize graphic details, which was great. (Thanks, Maria!!) Here's why I'm giving 4 starts instead of 5: on the wedding day, Damien was nowhere to be found. Genesis sent a completely different MC, which I understand (Damien is in high demand). What I don't understand is why this MC went over with me during my cocktail hour, in front of my guests details that had been already settled at our two other meetings, and via email. He even had my emails printed out, but didn't bother to read them through. That being said, all of my guests were very pleased with Genesis, they kept the party rolling all night long, and played a great mix of songs. Once the details were clear in his head, our MC remembered everything, and the evening went swimmingly. I am just a little upset that I had to spend time during my cocktail hour to go over details that I had left work early to go over in a meeting a week or two prior. Oh also, the photo booth props were mostly normal.... we requested "nerdy" props, but were thankful that we purchased our own props for the booth to supplement.

We booked Genesis for our wedding at the Sand Castle on 07/16/16. We were amazed by how they got everyone on the dance floor. MC Fabio and his crew have a way with people that we have never seen before. My husband and I were worried because a lot of our family are not big dancers. But the DJ played a great music selection and MC Fabio had EVERYONE up and dancing. Definitely the best! We would definitely book the again for any future events!!!

My wedding was December 2, 2016. All of our guests were dancing the entire night! Fabio was a fantastic MC. The music and the energy was perfect. The acoustic guitar player was a memorable touch and gave our wedding such a nice touch. I would highly recommend Genesis events!

This company is amazing. Maria in the office thinks of everything. Joe booed our event and asked every question imaginable. He was always accessible and very accommodating. Our emcee was Fabio. He was fantastic. Our guests didn't leave the dance floor. He went out of his way to make sure he was announcing the members of our bridal party correctly. You don't need to look anywhere else. AWESOME!! My wife and I just got married on 9/25/16 in north Jersey. We heard about Genesis through some familythat we're at a wedding in NY. Fabio was our MC and man...the house was rocking from start to finish. A true pleasure to work with. They tailored the event to our taste of music, tempo and style. They are extremely responsive and so easy to work with. It made the experience a breeze and fun too. Music delivery: on point! Intros: on point! Crowd participation: on point! Light show: on point! They were also able to provide with a live drummer all night, violinist for the ceremony and cool up to date photo booth. They're a true one stop shop and at a fair price. So much fun! Everyone is raving about Genesis that attended the wedding and I'm so glad we chose them as our entertainment. I'm still dancing!

Absolutely stellar entertainment. My wife and I were extremely happy with the DJ and the music overall. We requested Damian and he was cheerful, outgoing and interactive with the guests. The guy is just incredibly charming and looked nothing but happy to be there. He made the best out of every single moment and we felt a great kinship with him and the DJ. The customer service was great, understanding and reliable. Out of the many services that we hired for our wedding Genesis Events was probably the best decision we made.

Everyone at my wedding is still talking about what an amazing DJ we had. As the bride everyone told me I wouldn't enjoy my wedding because I will be too busy doing everything else. well I have to say that my husband and I did NOT leave the dance floor. Our MC was so amazing and went along with the spirit of the wedding. We had a superhero theme and he made sure to go along with it. He was so funny and was always asking if we need anything. We had a little misunderstanding with the time of the event but the problem was solved before it became an issue. We also got the photo booth and everyone loved it! The DJ is the best part of the reception so its worth every penny

I got married on May 14, 2016, and Genesis made our reception so memorable! We have very culturally diverse families, and they worked with us to make sure that everyone was happy and felt included in the music and dancing. They worked with every request we made, without any problems (even a last-minute change the day before the wedding!). Damian, our MC, got all of our guests on the dance floor, and the DJ had them going all night! There was never a dull moment, and I wish I could live it over and over again! We also used Genesis for their Photo Booth, which was a HUGE hit with our guests. The attendants were personable, and they put together a scrapbook of everyone's photos for us to take home. They even handed us a flash drive of all the photos from the night, before we left for the night. Thank you Genesis, for an amazing party!

What can I say about Genesis Events, except AMAZING!My husband and I knew that music and food were two of the most important things we wanted to make sure we had, full of quality, for our wedding. We wasted no time and booked Genesis Events because we knew we wanted the best! Between Fabio's charisma and charm, he got all our guests that ranged from toddlers to late eighties year olds on their feet dancing. They were lively, professional, and made sure everybody got involved and was dancing the whole night. We loved our photobooth and even had zap photos. Our guests were a mix of Sicilians and Jewish American so we had an array of music, all of which all the guests were very pleased with. I have received numerous compliments on Genesis and even requests for their playlists. They listened to everything I asked. I highly recommend if you want to have all your guests up and dancing throughout the very last song (or even during the pasta course) choose Genesis and you will not be disappointed!

Steve our emcee and his crew could not have done a better job with our wedding. They did everything we asked for (and we had some unusual requests) but also put in their personal flare and ideas that we would have never thought of. They had our guests of all ages/backgrounds on the floor all night. Our guests continue to tell us how great the music was and how energizing and fun the emcee made the party. I recomend them highly

We met the Genesis Events Team four years ago when we booked them for our older daughter's communion party... and we rehired them for our middle daughter's communion on April 30th at the Floral Terrace...they were truly amazing and made our party unforgettable for everyone! We first saw Genesis Events at my daughters Wedding at Floral Terrace. They were amazing, Damien was the MC and he was great. So of course we called Genesis Events to host my younger daughters Sweet Sixteen. The whole process was great. They really care that you have the best event. Even when I couldn't stop I to the office I cooks handle things through email and over the phone. At the Sweet Sixteen we had Damien as our MC and I can't say enough good things about him. He handled every detail professionally and with care. He is fun and kept everyone up on the dance floor. Before the party started he went down to the suite where my daughter and her court were to meet them and see if they had any special requests. Damien went above and beyond. Can't say enough about Genesis Events and Damien. Great job. I will definitely always use only Genesis Events for any party I have. Thanks again for making my daughters Sweet Sixteen the best!

Absolutely AMAZING! I cannot even begin to express how amazing our wedding night was because of Genesis. We worked with Fabio as our MC and Razz as our DJ. They timed our Intro Music perfectly and knew exactly the type of night and music we wanted for our wedding. As a result, our dance floor was packed all night and people are still telling me what an amazing time they had and how good our DJ was! Fabio kept checking in with us all night to make sure the music and everything was how we wanted it and it really was!!!! It was the perfect variety of music that all of our guests loved. The Photo Booth was an absolute hit!!! People were in it all night long. We got the one that allowed for the video option which was so great because it was bigger too so we were taking pictures with large groups and everyone fit! They even gave us a guest book with all the print outs which was such a nice keepsake! They are the absolute best! Thank you so much Genesis!!!

AMAZING experience with Damian and Genesis Events! They really turned our wedding into the incredibly fun party we wanted it to be. Had a blast! People are still talking about it.

Genesis Events provided a great time to our us and our guests for our wedding. So why not 5 stars? Just a few minor things keep them from being perfect. But first the positives! They tailored their performance for our needs. We wanted to stay a little classy but still fun. We did our best not to have too many constraints on our DJs but still had some "DO NOT" and "DEFINITELY MUST". They did a great job of avoiding all our "do not plays". Also for the most part kept the volume at a tolerable level. With a lot of little kids and babies plus old people in attendance, we had a lot of ears to keep happy. This may have been possible due in part to the venue as well. Genesis has a special arrangement with our venue (Floral Terrace) where they have their own surround speaker system set up. So all the sound isn't coming from speaker towers at the front of the room. This helps the sound volume be even across the room. They did a great job at handling the surprise I had planned for my wife. They played a custom MP3 I had edited together for a Backstreet Boys serenade I did with my groomsmen and provided a wireless mic. The Photo Booth that my wife surprised ME with performed all night and didn't stop. Hugely popular and great even though it's an extra expense. Sadly I did have to ask the volume to come down a bit even though we had stated during the planning stage that we didn't want things too loud. Thankfully it was still at a volume where people didn't walk away with ringing ears and sore throats. My wife had provided 20 songs she wanted played, MP3s and all since they are hard to find. Most of the way through the night they still hadn't been played yet. After I reminded the DJs about them they started to show up. They all didn't get played though. The MC did a great job. He tailored his show just the way we wanted. Enough to get people partying and dancing but not too obnoxious. :) Overall we were happy with the end results and if we had to do it again, still would have gone with Genesis Events.

Genesis Events worked with me to make my daughters' Sweet 16 a huge success. All of their friends are still talking about the MC and DJ. We were all very happy!!!!

I got married in May 10, 2013. I have to say it was the best damn day I have ever had in my life. My wife and I talk about it all the time with our guests. Even people who didn't get to attend wish they where there just from hearing the talk. Genesis Events took the reception to another level than what we expected. They played all the right music at the right times. Keep everyone on their feet and smiling. I mean even people with hip problems to my 70 year old grandma was dancing to house at the end. We had Damien at our reception and he was probably one of the coolest guys I've meet. I told him I don't like being put on the spot and he said no problem and keep it that way. He was able to go from english to spanish for our guests with no problem. The DJs were fantastic. The way they worked the lights with the music and mixed all the different types of genres we wanted. We keep saying that if we where to marry all over again then we would hired them again in a heartbeat. I think for any big party in the future I will hire them that's how great they are. I totally recommend them. If you want a wedding reception that will make people wish it never ended and won't stop talking about it then this is the company. The team at Genesis events is absolutely amazing! When you hire great vendors, you have a lot less to worry about, and Genesis surely proved that. We knew that Fabio was an amazing MC, but he went ahead and exceeded any expectations we may have had! He went above and beyond to ensure that our 200 guests were entertained, whether they were 2 or 92! We even had people saying they wished they hired them for their wedding-and ultimate compliment. Fabio also has the patience of a saint-we were adding and changing things even at the last minute and he was always there to help us and give us his insight. In the end we had an amazing MC and DJ, talented percussionist, and the BEST zap photos we have ever seen.

We had a chance to test out the photobooth at a mock wedding thrown by the company. Photo booths are always fun, but this one kicked it up a notch by having a video component where we got to keep messages left for us. Their props were great and they let us bring an additional batch of props that our neighbors who ran a photo booth let us use as well. Everyone had a blast and at the end of the night they made us a scrapbook of the photos and our guests left us notes. We love looking at it!
