Sawyer Hayes Community Center

s beautiful-- I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the other seasons. Also, there are hotels less than 2 miles away, which is convenient for out of town guests. Tracy was our contact at Sawyer Hayes and she was so hopeful. She was very prompt in getting back to me and would continuously assure that all of my tiny requests would be honored. She helped out a lot with arranging the space and having our ceremony and reception all in one room. Overall, the service, location, and accommodations were great. We wanted a cozy, nature-based, "drinking hot chocolate by the fireplace" ambience, and that's exactly what we got. I really could not recommend Sawyer Hayes enough.

ng up to the event as far as a lack of rain backup and the burden I put on my friends and family to have everything cleaned up and out the door by midnight... I would've liked for the party to have lasted longer.

we constantly bothered her to coordinate details. The venue is naturally beautiful and really didn't require decoration beyond the florals on the tables. I loved the patio and green space next to the building - it was perfect for our cocktail hour! We packed this facility to the max (we had around 200 guests), and the temperature reached into the 90s that day. Unfortunately this made the temperature inside the building was slightly less than comfortable, but that didn't keep us from dancing the night away!

is probably the max that fit this venue comfortably. We had read a prior review that the air conditioning has trouble keeping up on extremely warm days. Our day was very warm and the air conditioning was struggling! However, all and all, Sawyer Hayes worked well for us and my daughter was very pleased!

wyer Hayes Community Center is BEAUTIFUL. We had our wedding this November on the coldest day of the year, and the inside felt so warm, and cozy and inviting. I definitely recommend this place!!!

eremony. The Sawyer Hayes Community Center is lovely, and was more than large enough to accommodate our 100+ reception. The large glass windows provided a great panoramic view of the outdoors, and were a nice backdrop to our bridal party table. The Center also provides indoor chairs and tables, which helped us save money. I can't praise Kassie Alderson, the Park's sales associate/event coordinator, enough. She was a huge help from beginning to end, answering my many questions with patience and expertise. She was also great to turn to for advice on everything related to planning our reception (vendor suggestions, layout, etc). We knew we were in good hands. If you're thinking of an outdoor wedding or just in need of a great reception location, I strongly recommend Tom Sawyer State Park and the Sawyer-Hayes Community Center. We were very satisfied, and received many, many compliments from our guests.

ry high ceilings..fireplace in the foyer and the reception room has floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the park. Also amazing for photos! We loved it and Robin, who was very friendly and helpful!!
