I initially spoke to Paula, who was very helpful in choosing the right limo for the wedding party and helping to set up the wedding day. I had a separate SUV for my father and myself to get to the church, and our driver was very professional. He really knew what he was doing, driving around a bit since we arrived a little early – yes, I said early ☺ My only complaint: On the wedding day when we were dropped off at our final destination, our driver asked us for his tip before we even had to chance to hand it to him. He said, “you guys know that gratuity isn’t included, right?” before we even had the chance to give him his envelope of tip money. I thought this was rude, but otherwise, service was fine. I also tried booking a next-day limo to take us to the airport for our honeymoon, but Silver Star wouldn’t budge on the price, so we ended up using a local service which gave us a great ride in a clean, cool SUV. I think they should offer some kind of next day package for couples heading to the airport for their honeymoons. In the end, I would definitely recommend Silver Star to brides. They were clean and on time, which is very important on your wedding day.

ded was beautiful and spacious- my bridal party did not mind being driven almost and hour away to my wedding venue from the church - we had a BLAST! ​Our driver was absolutely amazing- he had to much in common with both my husband and I that it made our day even more special!! They even drove the route the night before to make sure they knew exactly where they were going and how they would maneuver. This is truly a professional business. They arrived on time and got us where we needed to be in a timely fashion as well.. We would HIGHLY recommend using Silver Star!

th my husband's love for older cars. We rented a 18 passenger Infiniti truck limo for our bridal party and a '67 Rolls Royce for us. On the day of the wedding both drivers arrived at my house earlier than needed and were beyond professional! They were down to earth and willing to get involved in the entire wedding process rather than just drive. Our drivers even came into my church and opened the doors for my father and I to walk down the aisle. WOW! I was speechless. They never seemed rushed or agitated by anyone in my bridal party and really made the day very easy going. Thanks guys!

reception and ceremony. Firstly, we gave a heads up to Silver Star on two fronts: to check the route due to overpasses, and to park in a specific lot next to our venue. The wedding planner communicated to me this message had indeed been passed along and was told by our rep Silver Star always does a route check beforehand. But judging by our experience I find that impossible to believe. The bus spent at least 30 minutes taking what is typically a 4 minute drive because he tried to go the route with the overpass. When he finally was able to back up and go a different way to arrive to the mansion, he tried to go down the driveway, which was totally impossible for a bus, as communicated by our planner. It is aggravating when you spend a lot of time, care and money planning every detail of a day and then are totally disregarded by the people you're paying to carry out these plans. Our parents missed the first 45 minutes of the wedding reception because they were waiting for the shuttle to loop back and get them at the church. These two locations are so close they could've walked faster -- but why would one do that when one is paying thousands of dollars for transportation? The second issue was the limo being 25 minutes late to pick me up. I was 30 minutes late for my wedding. People were waiting in the church for an hour. Lastly, the limo itself was unimpressive. It was air conditioned in only one spot. The seats weren't comfortable, it was unexceptional in every way. The Andre champagne served as a wonderful metaphor for the limo itself; a shoddy version of what should be a celebratory and luxurious item. I would strongly caution any bride against Silver Star. I'm sure you can find more reliable service for the price elsewhere.

e for the extra time. The limo was the one we agreed on and the driver did all the extras from helping me oot to holding my dress. He knew all the directions and exactly where he was going. Everything was perfect I had no complaints. We also had them send a car to pick us up at the end of the night and that was perfect as well.

e back of the car. Could not figure it out. I asked him 3x to pull over and get the air working the girls make up was melting he totally ignored. He took the longest route to the Picture location the reason he gave was bogus, one of my grooms maids was a cop and said his reason for the long ride was not correct. As soon as we get out he tells me he's a retired cop and when I was not around he harassed my best man about how gratuity is separate which in my opinion he should have not received any but let the best man give him a 50.00. He did not go the extra mile open the champagne bottle make the limo comfortable take out the small trash left in the car. It was just a horrible experience but thank God my girls knew this was not my fault.. I would not recommend at all Beware!

f we wanted a free upgrade to have one Cadillac and They wanted to give us a 14 passenger Range Rover, no charge! Of course I said yes. The limos both arrived on time, however my driver (Range Rover) seemed very bitter and in a rush. When we arrived at the church it was the other limo driver who came over to help me out of the car and make sure everything was okay and I didn't need anything. Later, when arriving at the venue the two drivers offered to bring our stuff to the venue as we were dropped off at the waterfall for pics. The lady running the venue let us know that the range rover driver was very nasty and just threw our stuff into her office. We later noticed that $200 was missing from the one bag that was in the range rover and $20 from another bag. I do not like to blame people when I am not sure, however, after analyzing the whole day all fingers pointed back to the range rover driver. Other then that driver the service was great and the cadillac driver was very pleasant and helpful!

Upon returning from honeymoon we contacted Mario, one of the owners, who besides being rude, just flat out was unprofessional, refused to sort the matter, denied having done anything incorrectly and worse yet blamed our wedding planner. He also promised to email the GPS tracking report. which nearly three months later we still haven't received after at least 15 follow ups. Our wedding planner even reached out to Mario right away to clear the matter. Mario promised her (Tamra Sanford from Ever Swoon) to straighten it out and over a month later (almost 3 months after our wedding next week) is still not sorted. We have sent over 15 emails and nearly 10 phone calls (leaving messages with Mario's assistant). We wouldn't recommend this company for any type of service. They are great at taking your money but not at taking responsibility of their actions on your big day. We had paid IN FULL all services back in January 2013 although wedding was in May yet they don't have the decency or professionalism to take responsibility for not following what they were asked to do our your big day. Brides- think twice before hiring for your wedding. BEWARE. You don't want your wedding to start on the wrong foot. This company doesn't have your back.

They helped me walk into the church at the right time, were courteous, on time, and overall just great guys. I had no problem with the cars and thought they were great. We used a bus for our rehearsal dinner the night before and then used two limos and another bus for the wedding and transporting guests from Manhattan to the Bronx and back. I do think they were a bit expensive but since the service was so good, I feel better about paying extra for piece of mind.

ve a contract with 3 transfers for the 14 passenger van (which we did) and that we would be charged for time after 11:30pm, even though our contract said we had the van until 1:30am. During the conversation, the manager told me I was "unreasonable" and when I said I was going to write a letter to his supervisor, his response was "what is he going to do? Tell me I did a bad job!". I found his attitude to be very unprofessional. The day of a SUV (8 passenger) was sent instead of the 14 passenger van. The real issue with all of this is the manager realized afterwards he gave us to good of a deal and wanted to fix his error at our expense. I would not recommend this company.

hope a good deal. (we paid $1200 for a 10 person limo to run shuttle service and one of the antiques for 3 hrs, their minimum). Cars were clean and looked great in pictures. Here were the glitches: 1) we reserved the limo maybe a month before the wedding and we chose a specific antique car that they said was available at the time. the tuesday before the wedding it turned out that they sent the seats to be refurbished or something and they didn't think the car would be available anymore... so we had to switch to another model. Not a big deal, we were really happy with the model we ended up with (the 1958 bentley I think?), but this could have been super annoying if they didn't have another model we liked. 2) this is just one of those miscommunications that all you can do is say "oh well"... we had requested shuttle service to move 25 guests from the church to the nearby reception in the 8-10 person limo. the limo driver made two trips, and asked one of the guests if everyone was at the reception. the guest didn't know, but supposedly dismissed the driver saying she thought everyone was there ... SOOO the limo left, stranding 5 guests at the church. the stranded guests managed to catch a cab on their own, but why the driver thought he moved everyone, would leave after an anonymous guest dismissed him without going back to the church to double check is a little frustrating??? In retrospect, I wish I had micromanaged this part , but did not expect moving 25 people from point A to point B to be confusing...

d see the ACTUAL cars in person that you will get on your wedding day. Pricing was in line with or better than what we had gotten from other limo companies. A few things stood out in our minds: the day of the wedding there was a massive back up on 95. The driver they sent was from the area and he was able to take all the back roads and avoid the delays. I saw the traffic and before I could even begin to speak and panic he turned to me and said “don’t worry I know all sorts of ways around it and that everyone will be on time” and we were! Also, the drivers watched the time and let us know when it was close to our time being up so we wouldn’t have to pay extra. They NEVER put their hand out for extra money and there was no funny business with tolls or us owing any money the day of. It was seamless. In addition, they coordinated really well with the photographers, videographers and the planner at the church. They even let the videographer attach a camera to the Rolls Royce!! They arrived early and were really laid back and easy going. At one point we were afraid that our location for pictures wasn’t going to work out and again the driver said he knew of a bunch of other places real close by if we needed to change. Silver Star called a few days before the wedding and asked if we would be interested in a free upgrade from the regular stretch to a Porsche Cayenne stretch…no charge, no catch, just offered my bridal party a lot more room and made my groom happy! I’d also like to point out that my agenda was very complicated involving multiple trips to and from the hotel to the church, venues in multiple states and a bridal party with one agenda and the bride and groom with another. Everyone thought it was so complicated, but the driver’s were the only ones NOT confused!

ride, the drivers for my wedding this past September were absolutely spectacular! They went above and beyond what they are supposed to do and truly were such a pleasure! I really felt like they were old family friends and should have left their cars with the valet, that's how friendly they were. Also, I must mention they are PUNCTUAL! I was worried we may cut it close with the pictures and the church but the drivers arrived early and the cars were wonderful! Besides the drivers, everyone that I spoke with from start to finish was incredibly accommodating and extremely professional and courteous. As for the cars, they were WONDERFUL! Having a large wedding party I was very worried that there may not be enough room for everyone to be comfortable...but when you heard the limo coming from up the block, due to the what is now known as between the wedding party as the, "transformer" wheels, there was by far enough room and the limo was AWESOME! The guys are STILL talking about it. And the Rolls that I had for my father and I and then me and my hisband was well worth it! My favorite wedding photo of me solo was with the car! I think Silver Star was a wonderful company to work with and I know, for myself, along with people who were in the limo, that we know who we're going to call again whenever we need a car again.

f the pick up and drop offs. The driver gave us a really hard time, however, when we wanted to make a quick photo-op stop that was on the way from the church to the reception. He got really hostile with my wedding planner, saying if we went beyond our time even for a minute they would charge us for an additional hour. She had to really get into it with him, telling him it would only take a few minutes and that we had plenty of time. We made the stop, and ended up getting to the reception with 10 minutes to spare. Even if I understand his position his gruffness on our wedding day really put us off.

late! I will tell you that both the limo and Rolls Royce were early and knew exactly where they were going. Both drivers were so helpful to me! One of the drivers carried my flowers, while the other helped with my dress and veil. One of the drivers even told my father and I to stop at a certain point in the aisle so he could fix my dress and veil, now if that isn't service, I don't know what is! Both drivers were so friendly and always made sure we were comfortable! They really went above and beyond for us and the whole bridal party! I found their prices to be great. If I have any other events coming up, I plan on using Silver Star for them all!

ed in mid-July during the heat wave. It was 97 degrees on the day of our wedding. When my bridesmaids and I got into the limo to get the church, it was blazing hot and hot air was coming out of the vents. We told the driver again and again along the ride and he insisted that the air would get cooler. It never did. We got into the limo again to go to our picture venue (this time packed with my husband and the entire bridal party) and again, there was hot air coming from the vents. Still, the driver insisted that the air would get cooler, which it never did. While we took pictures, the driver put up the hood of the limo to cool it down (so he obviously knew there was a problem). When our pictures were complete, the limo was still hot, so my husband and I drove back to the reception in my wedding planner's car rather than suffering in the limo again. My mom called Silver Star two days after the wedding and spoke to Paula, our contact person in organizing the transportation. My mom explained the situation. At first, the driver insisted that there was no problem with the limo. We told her that we had pictures of the limo with its hood up, so the driver knew there was an issue. Then Paula insisted that it was OUR responsibility to call Silver Star on the wedding day as soon as we knew there was a problem. Really? We had a limited amount of time to take our pictures and I was not about to waste it by calling Silver Star and asking for a new limo. It was the driver's responsibility - he could have called during the hour long wedding ceremony or even during the hour we were taking pictures to get a new limo from the company (which is located 15 minutes away). In the end, we were refunded half the cost of the limo plus the driver's gratuity for his "inattention" to the situation. However, this was only after several phone calls back and forth to Paula, who was not particularly pleasant with my mother. Silver Star is an extremely pricey company and we expected MUCH better service. I would not recommend them nor use them again.

hat the Hupmobile may not be the best way to travel a long distance (from ceremony to venue) during the long summer months. Although the party bus was absolutely gorgeous inside and out, the rain caused the windows to leak inside. One of my groomsmen had to hold tissues up against the ceiling so that we did not get wet from the water dripping. In addition, the defogger stopped working as we were driving through torrential rain. My uncle had to wipe the window as the driver was driving so he could see. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Silver Star for their wonderful customer service and great prices. However since my husband and I were a little disappointed by the mishaps with the party bus, I would advise you to make sure the vechiles are working 100% before your day!

They are prompt and professional and I highly recommend them.
