Sam Rockwell's long-time girlfriend, Leslie Bibb, is an American actress. She started her career as a model after winning a nationwide modeling search conducted by The Oprah Winfrey Show and the Elite Agency when she was 16. When it comes to Leslie Bibb movies and TV shows, she first gained prominence for her role as Brooke McQueen in the teen-dramedy series Popular (1999–2001). How Leslie Bibb and Sam Rockwell Met
The couple's story began in October 2007 at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. They first met while Rockwell was filming Frost/Nixon. Their initial meeting led to a date at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, which lasted the entire day. In a 2012 interview with Rosie O'Donnell, Bibb reflected on their early years and how she had never dated a famous celebrity before Rockwell. "I just smiled, and he smiled at me, and I thought, 'Oh no, what's that?'" she said. "Sometimes you just get struck."

January 2015: Leslie Bibb and Sam Rockwell star in Don Verdean
The couple worked on another movie together, Don Verdean, which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in Utah. Rockwell played the lead as Don Verdean, an archeologist, and Bibb portrayed Joylinda Lazarus.

On August 27, 2017, Bibb posted a cute snap of the couple to her Instagram, along with a caption that says, "buona sera...ti amo...night lovebugs xo-the rockwells." The inclusion of "the Rockwells" made fans speculate whether or not they had secretly been married, but no wedding has ever been confirmed.

In January 2018, Bibb took to Instagram to celebrate Rockwell's success with his role as a troubled police deputy in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. The actor won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, a Golden Globe, and two 2018 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards for his work. Bibb posted a carousel of photos and a sweet tribute expressing her love and admiration for the actor.
"About last night...so proud of you, my beloved, you are the greatest in everything...i am so grateful i got to see that explosion last night...set it all on fire," Bibb wrote. "You're a force and i love you...and you are kind and generous and the real f--king deal...and you put me in a fran and sammy sandwich...my adrenaline is still pumping from everything i absorbed last night...what an honor and thank you @goldenglobes...#timesup #tectonicshift."
While at the 2018 SAG Awards, E! News' Giuliana Rancic interviewed the couple on the red carpet. She asked what has kept their relationship going so long, and Rockwell said, "Communication." "Good sex," Bibb added. "Communication and good sex," Rockwell laughed. "And a healthy sense of humor," Bibb said. "Humor is very important," Rockwell continued. "She's very funny."
January 2020: Sam Rockwell wins another SAG Award
Rockwell won his third SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie for his role in Fosse/Verdon. In footage from the ceremony, you can see just how excited and happy Bibb is for Rockwell when he's announced as the winner. You can also hear him thanking Bibb in his speech. "My beloved Leslie Bibb, for reading scripts with me during the Christmas break," Rockwell said. "Thank you. I love you very much."
October 2023: Sam Rockwell and Leslie Bibb celebrate 16 years together
On October 13, 2023, Bibb shared an Instagram post celebrating the couple's 16 years together. She posted a throw-back photo of them and a sweet message in her caption. "Sweet sixteen sammy ...was this from the first year, maybe the second, who knows we were babies and all the time is flying by and blurring into one helluva a ride with you," she wrote. "I feel very lucky to get to love this human and even luckier to be loved by him...give someone you ♥️ a squeeze today and look them in the eye and tell them how you feel about them...it does the body good…"
July 2024: Leslie Bibb posts a sweet reunion photo of the pair on IG
On July 12, 2024, Bibb posted a photo of her and Rockwell embracing, along with a caption about reuniting after spending three months apart.
"Reunited… and it feels so good… sometime rules have to be broken and our three week rule had to be three months because of our work schedules and gawddamn nothin' feels as good as being back with #sammyrocks…"
The "rules" she refers to are rules the pair have to keep their relationship strong. Rockwell shared some of those rules in a 2018 interview with Us Weekly. "We have a two-to-three-week rule and then we see each other," he said. "Then you get too independent if it's four weeks, five weeks." He also said that their relationship works so well because they both have a sense of humor and look after each other.
