The pair worked with Lisa Vorce to plan the intimate celebration, which began with a string quartet providing musical selections as the bride walked down the aisle.
Olivia Culpo's wedding dress was a custom long-sleeve Dolce & Gabbana gown, complete with a 16-foot veil, which was inspired by their church ceremony setting. "I wanted something that felt as serious as that commitment," Culpo told Vogue of her traditional bridal look. She worked with the Italian fashion house to dream up a crew-neck ball gown, which had buttons lining the back. "I didn't want it to exude sex in any way, shape, or form," she explained. "I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it's complimenting me, not overpowering me. There's so much beauty and simplicity."

As she began pulling inspiration for her wedding ensemble, she recalls not finding anything online that matched her vision—so she worked with the team to create the perfect gown from scratch. "This is the first, last, and only wedding dress I tried on," she said.
Looking back on the ceremony, the bride said it felt intimate despite the full chapel. "Even with so many people in the room, it felt like it was just Christian and I," she told Vogue, adding that her groom provided comedic relief from the very start. "Christian blurted out 'I do!' within the first 30 seconds of the ceremony," she recalled. "The priest told him we weren't quite there yet, and our family and friends had a great moment of laughter at his eagerness. As a bride, there's no better feeling than your husband not being able to wait a second longer to marry you."
After being shuttled to Ocean House in a vintage Rolls Royce, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed lobster rolls and champagne while looking out at the Atlantic Ocean. "My dinner reception was a combination of old-school elegance and lush garden florals," Culpo said of her vision. "It was really important to have a lot of greenery. I wanted the florals to be lush but garden style, as if they were organically growing."
