According to reports by People, Khomyn was born in Ukraine and immigrated to the U.S. in 2009. She's a model and a licensed realtor in Los Angeles, handling sales of luxury properties for both sellers and buyers. According to her professional website, Khomyn received a bachelor's degree in international business from George Mason University and her master's degree in global management from Arizona State University.

Before 2013: Sean McVay and Veronika Khomyn meet
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, McVay and Khomyn first met between 2011 and 2013. At the time, McVay served as a coach for the Washington Redskins and Khomyn was a student at George Mason University. They've kept their relationship private, so the exact date of their meeting is not currently known to the public.
June 2019: Sean McVay proposes to Veronika Khomyn
According to a feature by People, McVay popped the question during a vacation the two took in France. Khomyn announced the news with an Instagram Story that showed off her engagement ring.
She also posted a carousel of photos on her private Instagram account, paired with a caption that says: "We've been enjoying this amazing vacation so much I haven't had the time to make this post but...The man of my dreams, my best friend and the love of my life asked me to marry him... And I said YES!!! to being his McBae forever 😉💍 Here's to our life together! 🥂❤️."
February 2022: Los Angeles Rams win the Super Bowl
When the Los Angeles Rams won the big game, McVay was just 36, making him the youngest Super Bowl-winning head coach. He, along with quarterback Matthew Stafford and the rest of the team, defeated the Cincinnati Bengals and took home the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
March 2022: Sean McVay and Veronika Khomyn present award at Critics' Choice Awards
At the 27th Critics' Choice Awards, the couple presented The Power of the Dog with the award for best picture. Before announcing the winner, they took a moment to recognize Russia's invasion of Ukraine the month prior.
"Before we announce the nominees, we'd like to take a moment to talk about what's on all of our minds: Veronika's home country Ukraine," McVay said.
"I proudly stand with my fellow Ukrainians and I admire their strength," Khomyn shared. "They have faced unimaginable adversity with such profound grace and bravery, their fight and the way they have united the world is truly inspiring. There is no place in our world for this kind of violence and our prayers go out to all the lives that have been lost."
June 2022: Sean McVay and Veronika Khomyn marry in Beverly Hills
The couple exchanged vows on June 4, 2022 in an outdoor ceremony at the storied Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
October 2023: Sean McVay and Veronika Khomyn welcome their first baby
On October 24, 2023, the couple welcomed a son, Jordan John McVay. The Los Angeles Rams announced the news on X with a post that says: "LA Rams Transactions: Delivered Jordan John McVay." During a press conference shortly after Jordan was born, McVay revealed that the middle name they gave their son is in dedication to his late grandfather, San Francisco 49ers executive John McVay.

According to People, McVay and Khomyn were married in a ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, California. Khomyn walked down the aisle in a white beaded gown with a long veil, while McVay wore a black tuxedo. The ceremony was officiated by former pro football player Tom Raponi.
