Gaetano’s wife Sally created a recipe for red chowder which quickly became a house specialty and remains a crowd-favorite to this day. Their children are a key part of this story, taking up the mantle of leadership from their parents. Over the years, the original Iggy’s was renovated and expanded, while entirely new premises were added to the Iggy’s name. In 2015, Iggy’s Boardwalk restaurant came to be a bright new fixture in the Oakland Beach neighborhood. This establishment holds to the high standards for cuisine and service that are hallmarks of this family tradition.
