We met together for multiple planning sessions and also visited the venue together to fine-tune every aspect. On the day of the wedding, if there were any issues, we were unaware because Christian made sure everything fell into place and went smoothly. Each detail was carried out with precision. Christina was very professional and we thoroughly appreciated her honest, open opinion from a wedding planner's perspective. We loved working with her and would definitely recommend her! <3

s already booked on another wedding, and would I mind having her as my planner? Of course not, I was excited to have the owner as my wedding planner! Throughout the months that followed I dutifully sent in my various contracts to Christina. Then, when the 'Month of" arrived, we scheduled our first meeting. This meeting began with a "I've been dreading telling you this..." Her lead planner had left and as that Bride had paid for a full planning wedding, Christina opted to handle her wedding and set me up with two vendors I was working with for other parts of my wedding to act as day of planners. That was not the way to start a month prior to my wedding - how long was this known? Why did I just now find out? Although we were supposed to meet to discuss a preliminary timeline ... there was no preliminary timeline presented - all she had done was written our names and venues at the top of the timeline. Half of the items I had sent in hadn't yet been organized so I was having to repeat myself about choices I had made. Another frustrating element was that often upon making comments about my preferences for things, disparaging comments were made about those choices. I suppose we have different tastes on how we'd like to see my wedding, but it is, after all, my wedding. These comments also extended to people like different vendors or my Church planner, which I felt was totally unprofessional. During the meeting in which my Fiance attended, he was talked over several times when trying to communicate to our (now) day of planners who assumed Christina's place. On the day of, many of the choices I made, or some basic things were forgotten. My veil bag was re-purposed as a trash bag at the Church without my asking by one of the planners, the head table was lacking place cards I requested be placed on them, etc. All in all, I found that hiring P&C stressed me out more about my wedding instead of alleviating it.

First of all, Christina really tries to get to know you. She wants to actually hear about what you want and don't want and what you like and what your/ your fiancé's hobbies and little personality things are. She really wants to personalize your wedding to you. The little touches that I really liked but wasn't sure how to incorporate - she made cute and adorable and just perfectly fitting. Secondly, she found me the most amazing vendors at every step of the way. She would send along a few options and either tell me who she typically recommends or we would set up meetings with a few and she would attend with me! I was looking for a very specific kind of wedding dress and not only did she call around to different dress shops to see if they had anything matching my needs in stock, and then come with me to the appointments, but she was actually the one to point out the dress at the dress shop that I ended up getting. She not only can coordinate and find great vendors and bring your ideas to life, but she also has really inspired ideas of her own! She was responsible for a few key details (at least 3 that I can think of off the bat) from our wedding that everyone tells us over and over again that they absolutely loved - without Christina even suggesting them they never would've happened. I was actually even skeptical about one of them and it turned out to be the most magical part of the evening! Also, she really goes to bat for you. When you're a client of P+C they take care of you. We've had a so-so experience with the only vendor I picked without her (venue) and she has constantly been emailing and following up and trying to get them to communicate with us even AFTER the wedding. Not ideal that she has to do that, but I so appreciate that even though the wedding is over she's taking care of it. Also, a huge shoutout to her coordinator Melissa, who fielded many, many emails from me at all hours of the day and night and really did so much detail work to make our event go off without a hitch! I cannot more highly recommend Christina and Melissa and P+C. They were 100% the best decision I made with regards to wedding planning and I'd do it again in a heartbeat (and hire them before I book the venue next time!).

to all our hopes and dreams and worked hard to plan a beautiful, personal day. But when the weather forecast turned to rain and floods on our wedding weekend and the rain contingency at our original venue wasn't perfect, the plans had to change. Christina suggested relocating the party to an entirely different venue. We changed venues 48 hours before the wedding day, which was quite a shock, but Christina calmed our nerves and made the transition so easy! She helped us contact all our guests, and she communicated with our vendors to make the switch. Looking back on the wedding day, I can't image the reception being held anywhere else! It was incredible. The lighting, rentals, and flowers looked amazing in the new space, and many of our guests commented that they never would have guessed that we had to move the wedding because it seemed like we planned it that way. Even with all the last-minute changes, we were totally stress-free on our wedding day and we had SO MUCH fun. P&C connected us with the best vendors, including an amazing DJ, super-talented florist, delicious catering that everyone raved about, and gorgeous linens and rentals. Christina helped us add lots of personal touches to the party, too: a monogrammed DJ booth, a custom-backdrop for our photo booth, and a silhouette artist, who made custom hand-cut paper silhouettes as favors for our guests. She arranged for an old-fashioned white trolley as transportation for the wedding party -- details like that made the day extra special. The P&C girls were so attentive on our wedding day. They were always there to reassure us or answer questions or guide us to where we needed to be next. They made sure we had everything we needed exactly when we needed it, and kept the day going on their organized timeline. We were so lucky to have the P&C team on our wedding and we're grateful for all their hard work to make our day so special.

pt me on track, and the day of she was making sure everything was taken care of and perfect, I didn't have to worry about a single thing except enjoying my wedding day. Pomp and Circumstance were amazing to work with, friendly, really wanted my day to be perfect for me, and were willing to work with me when I expressed concerns about my budget. I highly recommend them!

a dream team. The day of our rehearsal they managed to quickly and creatively find a way to move both our ceremony and reception inside Brenner's on the Bayou. Everything was taken care of by these lovely ladies and all we had to do the day of was get ready and show up! Through the planning process Christina was readily available, responding to emails and phone calls quickly. I also really appreciated that she went out of her way to find answers if she didn't have them right off the bat. Her experience in the industry and connections with other vendors also made it super easy to plan those last minute, unexpected things when they came up. My husband Peter and I agree that hiring Pomp and Circumstance was the best decision we made while planning our wedding. It made planning such a special day of our lives so much easier and enjoyable.

everything went exactly as planned and we were able to just sit back and enjoy the festivities. I would highly recommend Pomp & Circumstance if you will be planning a wedding!

to the flowers, and everything in between, Christina fought to get us the best quality for the best deal. On the day of the wedding, she even went above her job duties and made sure everything went perfectly.
