The couple married amid COVID.
Magic Mike star Alex Pettyfer and wife Toni Garrn are just that: newly married. The actor and the supermodel wed in early October in a small ceremony amid COVID-19, abroad in Germany, where Garrn was raised.
"Mr & Mrs Pettyfer," the Beastly actor declared Sunday, October 4, while Garrn added: "Now you really get to call me wifey." The pair both shared the same photo of themselves exchanging a kiss outdoors, together flashing their new wedding bands. On par with many 2020 weddings, the style of the wedding was more casual and appropriate for the outdoors. In accordance with such, Garrn wore a relaxed slip dress, featuring a cowl-neck, against Pettyfer's tweed suit jacket.
According to E! News, the pair exchanged vows at the Berner Schloss Palace in Hamburg. "Just a few friends and family members," according to a source, were in attendance. Much like other COVID-19 couples, numerous celebrities have had to postpone or rethink their weddings through 2021, some opting to elope while others choosing to push back their nuptials until group gatherings are deemed safe again.

Publicly, the couple's co-stars and fellow models reacted with congratulatory remarks, garnering comments from the likes of Martha Hunt, Heidi Klum and more. Garrn's engagement ring--a three-stone, emerald-cut diamond flanked by two elongated baguette stones set on gold--was designed by New York City-based jeweler Anna Sheffield.

Garrn and Pettyfer got engaged right in the heart of proposal season in 2019 on Christmas Eve. Their engagement status came as a surprise after a whirlwind 10-month courtship. The couple, however, was certain. "Christmas Eve the love of my life surprised me on his knees asking me to be his forever," Garrn wrote at the time. "He changed my life the day we met and showed me what love really is — so yes I cannot wait to spend every day (well almost) of my life with you."
The Endless Love star added on his end, "Some people marry their best friend, Some people marry their soulmate. I got both."
