Surprise! Gina Rodriguez is Married to Joe LoCicero

Jane the Virgin's Gina Rodriguez has already tied the knot on her hit CW show—now, she's a married woman in real life.

The lead actress took to Instagram on Monday morning to share a video (taken by videographers Harrison Wedding Films) from her May 4 nuptials to Joe LoCicero. The ceremony had a very special officiant: her Jane the Virgin co-star (and on-again-off-again on-screen love interest) Justin Baldoni. It appears that both the bride's parents walked her down the aisle, while her new brother-in-law, Michael LoCicero, sang her down the aisle! The event was all about family—so much so that Rodriguez chose to share an adorable quote from her 9-year-old niece, Mia, in her announcement post: "With that one kiss we got 100 new family members."

Multiple sources report that Rodriguez wore a simple, silky white wedding dress by Pronovias, complete with a swooping cowl back. She later changed into a different reception gown. She wore her hair down in loose waves and accessorized with a sparkly headpiece, plus the cutest Lajoux "G" and "J" charm earrings. Meanwhile, her groom dressed up in a dapper blue suit.

The couple got engaged in the summer of 2017 and originally met in 2016 on the set of—you guessed it—Jane the Virgin. But their romance didn't officially start until they reconnected at the gym. “It was serendipitous,” Rodriguez explained on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
