Few luxury fashion houses are as prolific as Christian Dior. Founded in 1946, the French designer's eponymous label is renowned for its exquisite haute couture—so it's no surprise that Dior wedding dresses are highly coveted among elite brides. Throughout history, the label's bridal styles have been worn by Hollywood starlets, international royals, supermodels and, most recently, pop sensation Taylor Swift.

While Christian Dior himself founded the brand and served as creative director of the haute couture line for 10 years, several other notable designers have held the prestigious role, including Yves Saint Laurent, John Galliano, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Jonathan Anderson, who assumed the position in 2025. While each designer has put their own individual stamp on the brand's creations throughout their tenure, Nayri Kalayjian, wedding fashion expert and founder of Lovella Bridal, says a few key elements have always remained true to the Christian Dior style. "House of Dior's signature and foundation design aesthetic has always included structured bodices, defined waists and beautifully balanced proportions that flatter the body without feeling overly revealing," she says. While Chirui brought a "softer, more romantic," feeling to the brand through ethereal tulle, sheer elements and delicate embroidery, for example, Kalayjian notes that Anderson's vision has already highlighted "sculptural minimalism and fashion-forward tailoring" through clean, architectural lines, sharp proportions and an "intellectual approach" to design.

What does this mean for brides around the world? If you love Christian Dior wedding dresses, it's completely possible to emulate the look during your own wedding dress shopping experience—even if you aren't getting a bespoke Dior haute couture gown. "Key terms and phrases to use while requesting to achieve the Dior fashion aesthetic in your wedding dress should include defined waistlines, clean sculptural lines, sophisticated over sexy, and beautiful tailoring with impeccable structure," Kalayjian suggests. She also recommends asking your bridal stylist to pull looks that include soft architecture, delicate embroidery (rather than heavy beading), and luxurious fabrics like silk mikado or silk satin.

Of course, having a few inspiration photos can help too. Below, we've curated 15 of the most iconic celebrity Dior wedding dresses. From Miranda Kerr's floral ball gown to Anya Taylor-Joy's embroidered taupe frock, these dresses exude sophistication, elegance and timeless glamour.

Taylor Swift

In what was quickly dubbed the "American Royal Wedding," Taylor Swift married Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3, 2026. There was endless speculation about who would design Taylor Swift's wedding dress, and both the bride and groom opted for custom looks by Jonathan Anderson for Christian Dior Haute Couture. While photos of their looks have yet to be released, a press release from Swift's publicist, Tree Paine, confirmed that the couple collaborated closely with Anderson. Swift accessorized her look Christian Louboutin shoes and jewelry by Cartier. Early reactions and reports from wedding guests indicated that Swift's gown featured a long train and a trailing veil. She may have dropped several Easter eggs hinting at her designer in the months leading up to the big day, as she was photographed wearing Dior several times. She notably carried a black Dior Small D-Motion bag for an appearance at the NBA Finals in June 2026, and earlier in the spring she was photographed holding a bright yellow Mini Lady Dior purse from Anderson's Spring 2026 debut collection for dinner with her family in NYC.

Ming Xi

Ming Xi is the only other famous bride to wear a Jonathan Anderson for Dior wedding dress…so far, that is. The Chinese model wed entrepreneur Mario Ho in a jaw-droppingly beautiful wedding at Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey in Normandy, France on June 1, 2026—the first wedding at the UNESCO World Heritage site in over 1,000 years. Xi collaborated with Anderson to create her bespoke Dior wedding dress, which featured an elegant boat neckline, long sleeves, a structured bodice and a draped open back. According to Kalayjian, Anderson's attention to detail on the waistline of this modern gown still highlights Dior's signature silhouette that was first brought to life in the 1940s. "The foundation of the fashion house's gown designs, including bridal, is a natural waistline that shows off the smallest part of the bride's waist with a fuller skirt," she explains. "There's internal structure, even if the design has more of an ethereal feel on the exterior."

Princess Iman of Jordan

Princess Iman of Jordan collaborated with Dior's former creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri to create her one-of-a-kind wedding dress. The international royal married financier Jameel Alexander Thermiotis on March 12, 2023, at the Beit Al-Urdun Palace in Amman. In a statement shared to the official Dior Instagram page, the brand detailed the "contemporary yet timeless" design. "For Jordan's Princess Iman, @MariaGraziaChiuri incorporated delicate floral details into the collar and sleeves of her sleek wedding dress," the caption read. The dress was adorned with ornate lace work and precise tailoring "as a testament to the refined excellence of the House's atelier."

Anya Taylor-Joy

For her gothic, Vampire-themed wedding in New Orleans, Anya Taylor-Joy donned a non-traditional Dior wedding dress. The champagne-hued gown featured glittery fabric embroidered with imagery of flowers and birds. Following that secret ceremony in 2022, the actor and her husband, musician Malcolm McRae, exchanged vows again the following year in Venice, Italy, and she appeared to rewear the same off-white dress.

Jennifer Lawrence

While Jennifer Lawrence never shared photos from her 2019 Rhode Island wedding to Cooke Maroney, she did wear a Dior wedding dress. In paparazzi photos published by Elle UK, the actor could be seen in a sparkly gown with a round neckline, a sheer top and slightly puffed sleeves. According to People, the gown reportedly had its own room at the Hotel Viking. The inside source added that "the whole design team" at Dior flew in with the dress to ensure its safe arrival. Lawrence's choice to wear a Dior wedding dress wasn't surprising, as the Academy Award-winner frequently wears the French fashion label on red carpets. One of her most notable appearances in Dior was at the Oscars in 2013, where she won the award for Best Actress and subsequently fell up the stars on her way to accept the statue. (Not to worry: She made light of the situation and has worn the brand many times since.)

Lily Allen

While most to-be-weds secure their wedding attire months before the big day, Lily Allen ended up choosing her Dior wedding dress on the day of her wedding. The singer married Stranger Things actor David Harbour in Las Vegas in September 2020. Even though her original dress was en route to their hotel, the bride's eight-year-old daughter, Ethel, suggested she keep looking. Their search led them to a store in Sin City, where the saleswoman pulled the structured, belted mini dress specifically for her. "That dress wasn't even on the rail, it was in a back room," Allen told The Sunday Times. "The girl in the shop said, 'What's the occasion?' I was, like, 'I'm getting married!' She said, 'Well, I've got this dress, it's not really a wedding dress …'" The rest was history. Ethel gave her stamp of approval, telling her mom, "I really don't think you're leaving this shop without it."

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra had an extensively lavish wedding wardrobe for the multiple ceremonies she hosted with Nick Jonas in 2018, which included an elegant Ralph Lauren wedding dress with a 75-foot veil. But for the couple's second wedding reception after their traditional Hindu ceremony, Chopra's longtime stylist Mimi Cuttrell outfitted her in a fiery red Dior wedding dress. The gown featured a sweetheart neckline and a full tulle skirt, and the bride accessorized with 16 carats of Chopard jewelry, including an oval-shaped diamond drop placed delicately in the center of her head.

Karlie Kloss

Karlie Kloss' Dior wedding dress displayed the brand's signature blend of exceptional, structural craftsmanship and romantic femininity. The supermodel donned a three-quarter-length sleeve lace gown with a slim belt around the waistline to wed Joshua Kushner in October 2018. The ceremony took place in Upstate New York in front of 80 guests.

Chiara Ferragni

Italian lifestyle blogger and influencer Chiara Ferragni wed rapper Federico Leonardo Lucia in Sicily on September 1, 2018. The bride donned an exquisite custom Dior wedding dress for the lavish celebration, which she told Vogue was a dream come true. "Dior has always been one of my favorite brands, and I love what Maria Grazia Chiuri does… so my dream was to get married in one of her creations." The final look was a custom ball gown with lace sleeves, a regal mock neckline and an airy tulle skirt that laid over a romper bottom. After the ceremony, Ferragni swapped the gown for another custom Dior look: a bustier bodice and an ethereal tulle skirt, which was covered in lyrics from the song her husband wrote when he proposed.

Miranda Kerr

Loosely inspired by Grace Kelly's iconic bridal look, Miranda Kerr's Dior wedding dress featured beautiful floral appliqués that complemented the fluffy pink flowers that brightened her wedding venue. The supermodel's long-sleeve gown was made of opaque satin fabric and featured a clean A-line skirt. She donned a regal headpiece and veil to accessorize. Her husband, Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel, also opted for a Dior morning suit.

Angelababy

Angelababy's Dior wedding dress is believed to be one of the most expensive wedding dresses of all time. The Chinese actor wed Huang Xiaoming in Shanghai on October 8, 2015. The ceremony included a massive carousel cake, a holographic display of a castle, and goodie bags filled with iPhones. The bride's custom Christian Dior ball gown was adorned with 100 roses made from delicate Chantilly lace, and the skirt was comprised of seven layers of fabric made from 170 feet of tulle, which cascaded into a 10-foot train.

Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani's Dior wedding dress was anything but traditional. When the pop singer married Gavin Rossdale in 2002, she tapped the brand's then-creative director John Galliano to design her colorful pink ombré gown, which featured a corseted bodice and a skirt with pick-up detailing. But the designer didn't just use fuschia fabric to make the dress—its hemline was actually spray painted. The one-of-a-kind creation was later put on display in London's Victoria & Albert Museum.

Princess Caroline of Monaco

Grace Kelly's wedding dress is often named one of the most beautiful and trendsetting wedding dresses of all time—so perhaps it's no surprise that her daughter, Princess Caroline of Monaco, inherited her mom's fashion sense. The royal bride wore a Marc Bohan for Dior wedding dress to marry Parisian banker Philippe Junot on June 29, 1978. Princess Caroline's wedding dress encapsulated the late '70s bridal style. The gown featured a sheer, round neckline and loose, airy sleeves adorned with lace embroidery. In lieu of a tiara, she styled her hair in two buns that were wrapped in white flowers. The ceremony commenced on the grounds of Prince's Palace in Monaco, where Kelly's civil ceremony to the bride's father, Prince Rainier III, took place.

Olivia de Havilland

After meeting at the Cannes Film Festival in 1953, Gone With the Wind actress Olivia de Havilland and French journalist Pierre Galante got married two years later in France's Yvoy-le-Marron village. Considering de Havilland was close friends with Christian Dior, it was no question that she'd wear one of his designs for her big day. (It also served as a nod to her husband's heritage.) She selected a white tailored suit from the label's Spring/Summer 1955 collection—and Kalayjian says this silhouette is one of the most defining pieces of women's fashion ever created. "Dior has always been known for his iconic Bar Jacket," she says. "It has a structured, cinched waistline and a peplum-like shape towards the hip, which was introduced on February 12, 1947, during Christian Dior's debut haute couture show in Paris. This single design piece revolutionized women's fashion by defining the natural waistline and emphasizing hips." From that moment on, the aesthetic has frequently appeared in many of the brand's runway designs, evening gowns and wedding dresses. "It's one of the most iconic pieces in women's fashion to date," she adds.

Given their close friendship, Dior himself was present de Havilland's wedding. The following year, the actress wore another Christian Dior wedding dress in the film The Ambassador's Wife, pictured above.

Rita Hayworth

Rita Hayworth's "something blue" was her Christian Dior wedding dress. The silver screen icon, who starred in 61 Hollywood flicks throughout her 38-year career, married Prince Aly Khan in the South of France in 1949. (It was her third of five marriages.) She donned a long-sleeve tea-length pale blue dress for the occasion, which had a V-neckline and a belted waist. She accessorized with a matching wide-brimmed blue hat.
