Viviane was born and raised in Brazil. Even from a young age, Viviane has always known that she wanted a career in the health and wellness industry of healing. Viviane started her training to become a licensed massage therapist immediately upon her completion of high school. She graduated from The National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church, Virginia in 2002. Now, even with having over 22 years of experience as a massage therapist, Viviane still loves what she does! Healing is her passion! From 2008-2011, Viviane practiced massage therapy in Boulder, Colorado where she had the opportunity to continue her training by learning more advanced massage modalities and natural healing techniques. Her additional training has helped her clients improve their pain management and to adopt a consistent self-care routine by seeing her monthly and sometimes even weekly! Viviane’s massage technique has been described as life changing as many of her clients have proclaimed that they always feel significantly better, both physically and mentally, after their sessions with her. Her approach to massage comes from the understanding that every single body is different. With that knowledge, she believes that every single massage session should be catered specifically to the client’s needs for that session. As a result, her massage style incorporates varying techniques to fit her client’s unique needs. She aims to create treatment plans to help her clients continue to feel the benefits of massage therapy in the long term. Viviane specializes in deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, lymphatic drainage massage, Himalayan salt stone massage, prenatal massage, trigger point therapy massage, oncology massage, geriatric massage, myofascial release, an array of body scrub treatments, cupping, and sports massage (pre & post event). Viviane works on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:30am – 5pm and some Sundays 9am - 2pm. Viviane has been with A Touch of Serenity since 2023.

Kita is originally from Alexandria, Virginia. She has worked in the customer service industry for over 9 years. Her past work experience ranges from retail associate positions to management of her mother's ice cream shop to working as a dog groomer! Her wide array of skills in customer service has taught her to work with all types of personalities with both people AND dogs! Kita finds the most rewarding aspect of working in customer service to be the relaxation she is able to create with each person she interacts with. No matter where she is working, Kita knows the importance of ensuring that customers always feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated. In addition to her customer service experience, Kita is also a Licensed Master Esthetician. She decided to combine her passion for customer service with her love for the health and beauty industry. Kita attended the AVEDA Institue School of Cosmetology for her basic esthetic studies. She went on to receive her Master's of Esthetics training at Neroli School of Beauty and Holistic Therapy. Her favorite services to perform are facials, waxing services, and body scrubs. In her free time, Kita enjoys cooking, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and taking care of her Lizard, Smolz Waxing and facial sessions can be scheduled with Kita on Tuesdays 10am - 3pm, Wednesdays 10am - 3pm, Thursdays 4pm - 9pm, Fridays 10am - 3pm, and Saturdays 11am - 2pm. Kita has been with A Touch of Serenity since 2023.

Rachel moved to Virginia over twenty years ago. She has enjoyed the eclectic and vibrant energy of Northern Virginia and now calls the DMV area home! Rachel's passion for alternative forms of healing is what inspired her to pursue a career in massage therapy. After receiving her very first massage and experiencing mental, emotional, and physical improvements, she became intrigued by learning more about the power of touch. Rachel attended the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage and has been working as a licensed massage therapist since 2016. Rachel specializes in Swedish massage, deep tissue, and hot stone massage with an emphasis on stress management and relaxation tension relief techniques. She believes that balance is an integral part of massage. A Swedish massage should have therapeutic aspects, while a therapeutic massage should have relaxation aspects. Achieving this optimal balance is what makes Rachel’s massage "the best of both worlds". Her techniques are both a mentally and physically beneficial experience. The balanced flow of her massage technique finds a way to relax the muscles while also addressing the stubborn tight spots and knots. In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her friends and family, taking care of her two lovable and crazy cats, and painting. Rachel works on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1pm - 7pm. Rachel has been with A Touch of Serenity since 2024.

Jasmine, originally from Pennsylvania, has lived in the DMV area for over 20 years. By establishing a foundation in her educational and professional endeavors, the DMV area has become her home! Jasmine decided to pursue a career in massage therapy after learning about the incredible benefits and healing capabilities of massage as an alternative option to medication. She became fascinated with learning about pain management and reduction through massage. After graduating from the American Massage and Bodywork Institute (AMBI) in 2019, Jasmine dove into her career! Having worked in both chiropractic and spa establishments, Jasmine’s massage technique and expertise is well rounded to encompass both therapeutic and relaxation qualities. While she specializes in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and hot stone massage, prenatal massage is her favorite massage specialization to perform. Jasmine finds it incredibly rewarding to provide relief and comfort to the body as it goes through one of its greatest transitions ever in life. In her spare time, Jasmine loves to bake, crochet, and spend time with family including her son and cat, Blue. Jasmine works every Sunday from 1pm – 6:30pm. Jasmine has been with A Touch of Serenity since 2024.
