it. We had a gorgeous view of the mountains, and fall colors on the trees in the background. It was a picture perfect scene. The owners are very nice and always pick up when you call. They also respond very well via email too. It is a do it yourself venue, but if you have a good bridal party the set up is not bad. They have all the tables in their storage room, I thought the set up was going to be more difficult but it was seamless. The owners had everything open and ready for us the day before for set up. I had so many of my guests compliment the beauty of the venue. It’s perfect if you are looking for an indoor or outdoor wedding. The indoors has a romantic ambiance that is unmatched. I could not say enough good things about it and I’m so thankful that we chose Braeloch for our venue.

DIY since it only comes with tables and chairs, but you do get access for the entire weekend (Fri-Sun). Our only issue was that we wanted our reception to go late and at first we were told there wouldn't be a problem with that, but two weeks before the wedding Al told us we would have to hire security guards for the event. Not a huge problem but it didn't come at a great time since we were in crunch time.

in setting up, the space comes with chairs and tables, separate kitchen area for catering, and bridal space! The views are amazing, all of the city guests could not stop commenting on the beautiful mountain views. Nancy is wonderful to work with, she allowed me on the venue site several times prior to the event to plan and map decor and tables out. She even placed the tables and chairs prior to the event based on my rough outline! By far having this wonderful venue made all the difference! I would recommend to anyone for any large event!

ation. Parking was easy enough and the pictures from the location were beautiful. My only recommendation would be to get actual bathroom stall doors rather than a curtain.

My best friend also got married at the same venue years earlier. We both had an amazing experience! The owners are extremely helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.

ed on Braeloch (on the same property) in November and both Nancy and her Husband stopped in to check on us the Friday before our event to be sure we had everything we needed and taken care of for the event. Their space is a beautiful mix of rustic and elegance with a phenomenal view of the parkway, I heard nothing but awe for their property from my guests. We comfortably sat 150 guests within their space and had plenty of room at the dance floor as well. You won't find a more perfect venue than here!

loved that we could do whatever we wanted with it. There is some great lighting inside the barn and the view is spectacular. It's the perfect place for a DIY couple.

oosing Boxtree that the owners of very controlling, hard to get in touch with and do NOT keep up their property. I love the mountain views and hillside but their actual house to get ready in is falling apart. Inside the house where the girls get ready, the AC unit didn't reach upstairs and the ceiling fan was broken. All my bridesmaids were hot and uncomfortable getting ready. (the upstairs room made for the best pictures per my professional photographer) The bathroom upstairs leaked; there was water all over the floor and we were NOT trying to get dirty floor water on our bridesmaid dresses or my gown!! They also didn't leave any towels for drying our hands after hand washing. Finally-- and this is my main reason for my low rating (2 stars) -- we were told by the owners Al and Nancy Hammond to "decorate how we want". So, in decorating how we want, we removed the burlap that was draped from the ceiling to replace with my white fabric and additional lights. When all was said and done, we left the reception area cleaner that when we found it! We swept, removed all our decorations and we were out by noon. Hours later I get a call asking where their burlap was... No where in the contract or verbal conversations was I told to LEAVE the burlap up or replace it if we took it down. I was practically harassed asking to return their burlap and put it back up! The burlap was returned (we didn't need it) we just didn't want it up for our reception. I couldn't believe the tone Nancy Hammond took with me accusing me of removing her property and not replacing. If you didn't want us to remove it, you should have specified! The only thing the contract states is, "No open flame" and "no rose petals unless you want to clean them up". I am baffled that they could tell us to decorate however we want, then when we do, demand we replace what was there. I am pretty certain they didn't even pay for it, as a previous bride had decorated with it and left it there. This experience definitely left a foul taste in my mouth and I will never recommend them.

facility and you get the entire place for Friday, Sat, and 1/2 of Sunday. You can't beat the price for all of that, MUCH less than other venues we'd contacted with more benefits! Thanks again Boxtree, our wedding was prefect!

iew. We walked around and looked at everything that was located there and we both knew that we wanted to get married here! Both Mr. and Mrs. Hammond was very friendly and answered all of our questions leading up to the weekend. They showed up while we were sitting up on Friday and made sure we had everything we needed. They also were in and out all day Saturday and was made sure everyone had what they needed and felt welcomed.

dinner there as well. The Hammond Family is wonderful to work with and even had put out plenty of fresh ferns and mums the day of our event. I have absolutely nothing negative to say.
