Everyone told us how beautiful the venue was. I loved how easy the city of Lakeland was to work with! My only regret is that I rented string lights from another company and it made the venue brighter than I imagined during our dance party bu...
t I love the string lights in my pictures. I just wish I had done a little more research on that before hand.

The magnolia building is a huge room. Very nice building. Fireplace and wood floors are a beautiful touch.

The magnolia building is absolutely beautiful, location is perfect, and the price very reasonable! Will recommend this place to others who want an amazing venue for their next party

My husband and I love this building for a few big reasons: location- on picturesque Lake Mirror, next to the beautiful Hollis Gardens, and within walking distance of downtown Lakeland. We got some amazing pictures at building, gardens, and lak...
"the look": it's a refurbished 1920's brick and stucco building with wonderful trusses above the main space, outdoor terraces overlooking the lake, large main space, 2 fireplaces, and Palladian windows. It's classic, simple, and elegant which means you don't have to do too much decorating to make it look special. The one thing that bothered me were the unecessary ceiling fans that should be removed since they installed the A/C system, but honestly, on the day of, I didn't notice them at all.
"the essentials"- It has all the things we needed for our 175 person wedding. Big enough bathrooms, a little storage space, entryway with fireplace, small stage, food set-up space, all the tables and chairs we needed (although the chairs are not my favorite), parking, and wide open main room. The facilities managers (City of Lakeland) were flexible and helpful.

looked into this building for her wedding a few years before so I decided to give it a try, and I couldn't have been happier with my decision! I was able to bring my own vendors in and our own alcohol, which saved a lot of money. I couldn't have been happier with my decision! Our pictures were awesome and everything around town was in walking distance. Wish the day wouldn't have gone by so fast!
