I am so impressed with her as a person and her skillz ***Also I read some of the reviews from this website about not having photos of the guests/mingling with them during dinner and that is the exact opposite of what I received. I have over 1600 pictures from the wedding and we had so many that were of people dancing, couples sitting, and us hugging/talking to guests from the reception. Photographers also have to eat, and my momma did not raise me to be so rude as to not provide a meal for a vendor. That is just basic kindness and hospitality. They are there for several hours and show up even earlier to get a layout of the land. The fact that they were even backing up photos during their meal means they are essentially working through it and not able to enjoy their meal. Shame on you for even suggesting that they don't eat/back up their hard work.

On top of all of that, we wanted to find someone whose style we loved and someone who would take pictures that really captured the love that surrounds a wedding day. It was also raining and cold the day of our wedding, and she scoped out potential covered areas last minute, and braved the weather with us! . Like me, Kristi is a Chicago lover that recently relocated to Texas. She was more than willing to travel back to Chicago to shoot our wedding. We were able to meet for in Austin coffee and breakfast tacos and go over all details of our wedding and she understood exactly what I was looking for. On our wedding day, it was a bit stressful because it turned out to be a rainy day in the Windy City. Although all of my pre-ceremony and first look locations was outside, Kristi quickly came up with BEAUTIFUL alternative locations that were still outside but covered from the rain. She remained calm and quickly came up with a backup plan which made me worry free! Our final photos are gorgeous and she got so many great pictures with natural lighting. We have a great mix of posed and candid shots. I could not recommend her enough!!! Thank you so much Kristi!

re are NO shots of our guests from the dinner reception, unless you were on the dance floor. When we addressed this issue with Kristi, she said that during the dinner (approx. 1 1/2 hours) she was "eating dinner, backing up photos to my laptop, and getting lighting and gear ready for first dances." Shouldn't photographers come PREPARED with adequate number of cards or space? Shouldn't uploading be done after the event is shot? Two months later and we are still left with such sadness at not having any pictures of our family and friends enjoying a beautiful evening.

I am so thankful to have a photographer who got along so well with every member of our bridal party and each of our vendors, as well as one whose work I have gotten many (frequent) compliments on. Our day wouldn't have been the same without Kristi being a part of it, and I highly recommend her to any bride in the Austin area (or any area really) who wants an extremely talented photographer who can double as a new friend ;) Kristi is great at understanding your vision and will support you in any way she can to make it happen!

room mingling with guests. The bridal party arrived with about 1/2 hour left of appetizer hour and there are NO pictures of the bride and groom mingling with guests. We have ZERO pictures from the reception except the toasts from 3 people and dancing. LOTS of dancing. Kristi's excuse for dinner is she was uploading pictures to her computer and eating dinner herself. I find this totally unacceptable.
