The Reading Terminal Market is one of the largest and oldest public markets in America and we love hosting Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, and Welcome Parties at this National Historic Landmark.
You will hand-select which Market Merchants will remain open to serve a pre-determined, miniature, and made-to-order menu item from their stand. This out-of-the-box experience of receiving fresh prepared food from these iconic Merchants is what we call an Interactive Dining Experience, which is our signature here at the Foodie Paradise.
Weddings at RTM include a Venue Package for a five-hour Cocktail Hour and Reception and a Food Per-Person Price, prior to administrative charge and sales tax. Beverage Packages are booked separately with the Market's exclusive in-house beverage service provider.

We got married at RTM this past weekend and it was the best experience of our lives. We booked the venue two years before, so we worked closely with All About Events for a while, and they were the absolute dream team.
These were the things that I would have wanted to know when I was researching:
- Their communication is clear, friendly, and incredibly prompt. I always looked forward to our planning meetings and was so excited to get live updates to see how our day was shaping up.
- They delivered on everything they promised and more.
- They cared about us and the things that mattered to us. Smallest examples - in one meeting once, I mentioned that I loved pickles, and at some point someone just came up to me and handed me a plate of pickles. We didn't want a cake, so they made us a giant donut.
- The venue is SO unique and SO Philly. Everyone said it was, hands down, the best wedding food they have ever had.
I could go on and on, but this is your sign to book with All About Events and have the night of your life!
I would 100% recommend to have your wedding reception at Reading Terminal Market with All About Events. Christina, Stevie, and Louis were fantastic in making our wedding reception a truly special event. From the beginning of venue planning we knew that we wanted Reading Terminal Market. We did not know how amazing and efficient the team at All About Events would make the entire wedding planning process easy. They are extremely knowledgeable, organized, and patient every step of the way. Our guests are trying to convince us to have a yearly anniversary party here so they can all come back again, they keep saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to....and I agree! Thank you to the whole team for making our day perfect.
If you're looking for a venue that is a bit less traditional (in the best possible way - imagine getting the entire Market to yourself with no crowds!), but will get guests excited to eat, drink, and dance all night, I can't say enough about Reading Terminal Market. Our guests were so excited to see the Market transformed (and all in an hour - it closes to the public at 6 and our wedding started at 7!), the food was excellent (since you can choose essentially any item that any vendor at the Market serves), and working with All About Events and Molly Malloy's was a breeze (AAE plans and produces RTM events and Molly Malloy's handles the bar packages). We are so glad we chose Reading Terminal Market as our wedding venue - it was memorable and unique but still felt very appropriate for a wedding. And it doesn’t hurt that we can go back to visit anytime to reminisce about our wedding day!
We LOVED our wedding at the Reading Terminal Market. We were a little uneasy when initially booking about how it would really work, but the staff at All About Events knows how to execute an event at Reading Terminal flawlessly. The space is really unique and they transform it so that it really feels special and intimate. They made sure that we and all of our guests were taken care of and everyone had a great time with lots of yummy food.
Planning with All About Events was a bit frustrating at times. There were several forms that they asked us to re-send multiple times. They also were not always super prompt with answering questions. They came off as a bit unorganized but once we were at the Terminal the night of the wedding, everything was perfect!
When we tell people we were having our wedding reception at Reading Terminal Market, they were always a little surprised and their next reaction was "that is going to be SO COOL!" And after we had our wedding, our guest did nothing but rave about how fun, unique and perfect the reception was.
But just having a reception at RTM is not what I'd recommend it. It was so much more. It was having the incredible variety of foods - we had cheesesteaks, DiNic's roast pork, Chinese food, a salad bar, poutine and corn dogs, grilled cheese from Meltkraft, the list goes on. It was having a historic and unique setting that was transformed into a beautiful evening even with string lights, candles, table clothes, decorations and provided an ambiance it'd be impossible to replicate anywhere else. It was the servers who attended to our guests every need, kept the party going, the room clean and the people happy. It was every little touch that the planning team executed perfectly for us, that all happened without us realizing it, without any reminders or questions.
The planning team at All About Events were the true heroes of the night - and in fact, the whole planning process. We met with them about 15 months before our wedding, and Christina, Stevie and Liam made sure that everything was easy, fun and exciting. Christina's emails to us were always clear and thorough, addressing every little question I had asked, and pointing out tiny things I never would have thought of. Stevie's communication with our vendors was so appreciated, including our Mummers and DJ! And every time we met with them, the meetings were exciting, joyful. Their personalities and kindness and caring for us and our events just SHONE.
We could not recommend RTM and AAE more. They are a truly wonderful team, and a gem in the Philadelphia wedding scene. I hope that we get to go to another event at the market soon, and we will certainly keep them in mind for our 10th anniversary vow renewal!!!!
We couldn’t be happier that we selected Reading Terminal Market for our post-wedding brunch! We rented the Rick Nichols room for a flat fee and then purchased gift cards so that our guests could explore the market and choose whichever brunch items appealed to them throughout the market. A buffet option was available, but we thought supplying the gift cards allowed more flexibility. All the food that our guests brought back to the room looked delicious and my husband and I even discovered a few new shops! An amazing time, affordable rate, and a great way to send off our guests from a wonderful weekend. We look forward to many future strolls through RTM!
Our experience at Reading Terminal was great! Sarah was really helpful throughout the planning process and Stevie did a great job coordinating all the other vendors. The space looked great, and there was so much amazing food and drinks. During the wedding, the staff was very attentive to us and made sure we got something to eat and had everything we needed. Many guests said it was the most fun and unique wedding they have been to. I highly recommend Reading Terminal!!!
I would have never thought that one of our favorite places in Philly could also be the most perfect and unique wedding venue! We had our ceremony and reception at the Reading Terminal Market, and everything about it was absolutely incredible. Christina and Stevie with All About Events were exceptional in helping us through all of the planning and logistics. The venue and menu options are endless, and they were great in helping us customize our wedding day to really reflect us. They truly went above and beyond to make our wedding night flawless and very special, we felt like rock stars all night long! Our guests had the best time and have yet to stop raving about it all - the amazing transformation, the laid back vibe, the delicious food, and just an overall wonderful time. Thank you for helping make our wedding night so magnificent and unforgettable!!!
The advice I would give a couple trying to decide whether or not to book this venue is, do it. If you want a truly unique Philly style wedding, this is your spot. Our guests have been raving about how cool the venue was, and how great the food was. If you care a lot about food, this is the best spot for you. The staff at All About Events (Sarah and Stevie) were excellent. They were very responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly. They helped us come up with the perfect menu, and helped us tweak little things to stay within budget. There are so many different options for the menu, so it was hard to choose. Sarah and Stevie also helped us decide the right amount of food to order, and it worked out perfectly. They were extremely flexible and patient with us, and made sure every detail we wanted came together. We especially appreciated how Sarah and Stevie worked behind the scenes with our other vendors, which made it so that we had nothing to worry about on our wedding day. The wedding went perfectly, and we would not change a thing.
We used RTM for our Rehearsal dinner and it was truly amazing. The way we came into it, was a little bit of a frazzle as our previous vendor had some complications very close to our date. Working with Rebecca and Stevie, they were able to accommodate us and make it so that we had a great night. They were so nice and helped us out in such a pinch that we can't thank them enough. Wonderful atmosphere in the beer garden, Molly Malloy's. Also everyone raved about the food. Very good and I would highly recommend!
From the very start, my husband and I were impressed by how quickly and effectively the team at RTM communicated with us. They were incredibly flexible with our crazy work schedules and were always professional, friendly, and organized. We worked closely with Adrienne, Bree, Donna, Stevie, and a few other AMAZING team members over 13 months and I could not imagine having our big day go as smoothly as it did without them. I truly am so thankful to have worked with these ladies.
The venue itself is one that friends and family are (still) raving over. It's nontraditional grazing stations, food options, and general ambiance make for the perfect "party" that we wanted our reception to be. Using simple candles and centerpieces and string lights, we were able to transition from the classic formal tone we had set at the ceremony into the relaxed and joyous tone that we wanted to set for the reception. If you have a sizable guest list and are a Philly phoodie, we couldn't recommend this venue more.
We had our reception at the Reading Terminal Market and from the very first moment we met with Sarah and the team there we knew that we were going to have an exciting and unique reception (with the best food ever!) Our guests were beyond amazed with the way the space was transformed into a BEAUTIFUL party. The team there had everyone on the dance floor, totally fed and having a great time. It was also a great way for our family from Philly to enjoy an important city landmark, and for our out of town guests to get a true Philadelphia experience. We are so grateful for Sarah's organization, honesty, and amazing attitude that helped to make our wedding at the RTM the best night of our lives.
