Cardi B Knew Her Fiancé Was Going to Propose After He Advised Her to Get a Manicure

Cardi B didn’t have to do too much serious sleuthing to know what her now-fiancé, Migos’ Offset, was up to prior to his epic proposal.

Offset proposed to the Billboard chart-topper on Friday at Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia. “I know I keep posting about this day, but I just can’t believe it,” the rapper captioned a black-and-white shot of the moment. “I keep replaying it in my head. I keep smiling every minute. I should have known something was up.”

The giveaway? Cardi B said her boyfriend continued “telling me to go get my nails done. Like, since when you cared about my nails?”

Offset asked the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker for her hand in marriage with a whopping 8-carat diamond ring that Cardi B can’t seem to stop showing off on social media.

“Jesus Christ I’m so emotional, @offsetyrn I loveee you so much,” she captioned a shot of her directly following the proposal Friday. “Thank you for seeing the potential in me since you met me. For giving me advice molding me and loving me. [You’re] such an amazing man to me your family, friends, kids and you are extremely talented. I can’t wait to spend FOREVAAAA with you. Let’s make a lot shmoney and love together.”

Cardi B and Offset have been dating since earlier this year, with rumors swirling around their pending engagement in recent months. Addressing the rumors in August, Cardi B told MTV, “I’m a woman. Every woman, I think, wants to get married and wants to have children. It’s never too early to get married now. You know, if you want to propose to me, you can.”
