Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov are married…again! In honor of their 11th anniversary, the Dancing With the Stars pros renewed their vows at Corazón Cabo in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on July 19. In a stark contrast to their original wedding, which took place in 2014, the dancers were joined by just 20 guests this time around, including their two-year-old daughter, Nikita. We have an exclusive first look inside the destination celebration here, including why they waited a decade (plus one year) to honor their love story.

Inside Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov's Vow Renewal

While vow renewals are common for milestone anniversaries, Karagach and Pashkov knew they wanted to commemorate their 11th year of marriage. "We always wanted to renew our vows because our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives," Karagach exclusively tells The Knot. "Ever since we started dating, our lucky number has been 11:11. We see it everywhere. It's our angel number that shows us that we're on the correct path of life. So we always said that once we hit 11 years of marriage, although it's not something that people usually do, that's the number we wanted to use to relive our special day."

That's not to say they didn't celebrate a decade of marriage appropriately. On their 10th anniversary in 2024, they commemorated the date with their daughter doing one of their favorite activities from their early days as a couple. "We spent the whole day at Six Flags because we thought, 'Let's be the youngsters that we were 10 years ago when we got married,'" Pashkov says. "We loved that, but for 11 years we're doing the whole big, proper thing."

The concept of a destination elopement was actually what the pair envisioned for their first wedding, although the idea didn't quite come to fruition. "We originally wanted to go somewhere like Cabo with a very selective handful of people," Karagach explains. "That was our dream. But I'm happy we didn't do that, because we had our family join. We just loved the fact that we could be there with them on our special day."

To bring their sequel ceremony vision to life, the couple worked with Andy Silva and Bibiana Santana of Destination Weddings Los Cabos to plan the event from afar. (Not only are the pair based in Los Angeles for ABC's Dancing With the Stars, which airs annually in September, they recently wrapped up a 68-city tour of the United States for DWTS Live! too). They also tapped their media team, Eleven11 Media Relations, for coordination help, which Karagach says felt like yet another positive sign from the universe: "When I first heard [the company name], I was like, 'This is really meant to be.'"

The second time around, the couple was intentional about curating a select group of guests to mark their milestone anniversary. "The best part is that we have our daughter celebrating with us," Karagach says. "We loved our wedding day so much, but being able to have her here now makes it even more special."

Also included on the guest list was their fellow Dancing With the Stars castmate Sasha Farber. "He's our best friend," she continues. "He's someone we wished that we had at our original wedding, but we didn't know him back then. He just fit into our family right away. We hit it off from day one."

In fact, nearly every guest the couple invited is a professional dancer. "Some of them used to be our students," Karagach says of the attendees. "Your dance friends become your actual friends for life."

Rather than replicate their original wedding, the couple instead wanted a laid-back celebration that focused on the bond they've forged together over the years. "We were definitely not trying to recreate our wedding day," Karagach says. "It was way more relaxed. We're celebrating love."

As such, the vow renewal commenced on the rooftop of Corazón Cabo overlooking the region's famed arches and mountain peaks dotting the Pacific Ocean. Edita Greben, Karagach's best friend who served as her maid of honor over a decade ago, officiated the ceremony.

Karagach selected her two-piece lace Heli Kalkstein wedding dress with the help of her longtime stylist Lorenzo VonRumpf. "I chose Lo because he knows me so well and became such a great friend," Karagach says. "Going to bridal stores is overwhelming for me because I'm more into sneakers and sweats, so having someone who knows me and my style is amazing." She accessorized the long-sleeve ensemble with jewelry from her eponymous accessory line, Dainty by Daniella Karagach. Pashkov opted for a simple cream suit with white sneakers, while their daughter, Nikita, wore a voluminous tulle mini dress with pearl-encrusted sandals.

After the ceremony, the party truly began…and as you might imagine given the guest list, the dance floor wasn't empty once throughout the evening (thanks in part to music provided by DJ Cinthia LoHe).

Considering the Emmy-nominated choreographers are co-owners of Wedding Dance School, an online platform that provides first dance lessons and tutorials for hundreds of popular songs, their "second" first dance was nothing short of incredible. They set the scene with Darren Hayes' "Insatiable"—the exact song they swayed to 11 years prior (with the same choreography, too). "No one really knows [the song], which is why we can keep using it over and over again," Karagach says with a laugh.

As partners on and off the dance floor, the couple now has their sights set on the next 11 years and beyond. "I married my best friend. He's someone I can turn to for anything because he's my number one fan, my biggest supporter, and vice versa," Karagach says. "We came from nothing together and grew into this family. Now Nikita is our biggest accomplishment. I know that every single day I wake up, I love my husband more and more. I can only imagine how I'll feel in 100 years from now."
