Exclusive: NBA Player Sam Dekker and ESPN Reporter Olivia Harlan Are Married—See the First Photos

Say hello to the royal couple of sports. Los Angeles Clippers player and ESPN sideline reporter Olivia Harlan are married, The Knot can exclusively confirm.

The bride and groom exchanged vows after a 14-month engagement on Saturday, July 14, devoting their lives to one another before 160 family members and friends. Carrie Baldwin of Door County Events planned the couple’s wedding alongside Harlan’s mother. “We had fun making everything so personal,” the bride tells The Knot.

The pair chose a sentimental spot to wed, opting for an outdoor wedding at the Horseshoe Bay Golf Club in Door County, Wisconsin. “I spent ever summer at my family’s home, and Sam’s hometown is just two hours away,” she muses. “Horseshoe Bay was where I spent summer days golfing and swimming a kid… it’s such a special place to the family.”

Harlan looked resplendent in a custom gown by Sareh Nouri. In fact, the bride was so enamored by Nouri’s designs that she combined three different dresses to make one complete look—taking the bodice of one piece, the skirt of another and the bow of one final dress to create the bridal outfit of her dreams.

“I wanted to look like a modern day Grace Kelly,” she muses. “Classy, elegant and all-American with a little flash.”

Dekker stood tall in a custom tux by Balani due to his 6’9’’ stature. “The did the best job with Sam’s request,” Harlan says. “His look was so elegant and old-fashioned, but in a stylish and current fit kind of way.”
