At last! Sarah Hyland and boyfriend Wells Adams are engaged.
The Bachelorette alum proposed to the Modern Family actress in a sweeping beach engagement, which the couple posted and revealed in a series of photos Tuesday, July 16.
"That can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff," Hyland, 28, captioned the proposal photos.
Adams also shared a video of the actual moment. Hyland commented underneath with: "When we get married will I automatically acquire your talent for making everyone cry with a homemade video?"

This past January, the Bachelor franchise personality ended up sharing a few thoughts about getting potentially engaged to a big TV actress--and the judgment that comes with fame. On his podcast, Your Favorite Thing, he spoke about the ring he would soon purchase for his girlfriend. “Can I go on the record right here?” Adams remarked to Brandi Cyrus. “I will pay for this ring, I promise you. It will come out of my bank account, okay?”

The couple first met--interestingly enough--via Instagram. The actress told Jimmy Kimmel that Adams had sent her a direct message on Instagram, and wrote: “The next time you’re in L.A., I’m taking you out for drinks and tacos.”
Their relationship progressed from friendship to romance. Hyland has been vocal about how Adams was with her through her kidney surgery two years ago. “He’s seen me at my worst. I think that’s why I feel the most beautiful in his eyes, because he still finds me beautiful after seeing all that,” she told Self. “It was a really intimate start to a relationship to have to go through those hurdles at the very, very, very beginning when you’re just even getting to know a person. Also, falling in love with someone before you can really be intimate. I did not believe that that was a thing, but it is.”
