In this story:

Taylor Swift Debut Bach Party Ideas

Let's go back to where it all started in 2006. If you're a true Swiftie that's been by Taylor's side through it all then a bachelorette party theme inspired by her debut album deserves a place in this world.

How to Plan a Taylor Swift Debut Bach Party

This was the era of "Our Song" and "Tim Graw"—talk about classics. If you're throwing it back to Swift's debut album for your bachelorette party theme then consider hosting the event in Nashville. If you want a more casual bach party that involves "old faded blue jeans" then this is the way to go.

What You Need for a Taylor Swift Debut Bach Party

Sometimes it's easy to forget that the multi hyphenate got her start in country music. While bach parties for her other eras may lean more toward pop or folk music, if you're celebrating Swift's debut album then nods to country music are a must. Your shopping list for the bach party will include of cowgirl hats and cowgirl boots.

Howdy Disco Ball Cowgirl Cup

"I was ridin' shotgun with my hair undone in the front seat of his car. He's got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel, the other on…" these cute disco cups. We love that these cups have a cowgirl hat befitting of the debut album paired with a disco ball that would feel right at home in Midnights.

Festive Cowgirl Boot Beverage Sleeves

When you're getting ready for karaoke, put a mic in one hand and a cowgirl boot-sleeved drink in the other before you belt out "I'm Only Me When I'm With You." These koozies will keep your drinks colder than "Cold As You."

"Long Live"-Inspired Confetti Popper

In "Long Live," Swift talks about confetti falling to the ground. These confetti-filled poppers are both festive and Swiftie-approved.

"Tim McGraw"-Inspired Silver Star Garland Banner

"He said the way my blue eyes shined put those Georgia stars to shame that night." Nod to "Tim McGraw," by Taylor Swift, with a silver star garland you can use as a photo backdrop.

Debut Album Cover-Inspired "Bride to Be" Banner

Bride to be bunting Taylor Swift album-inspired bachelorette party ideas

Who can forget the iconic teal cover of Taylor Swift's debut album? If you're planning Taylor Swift bachelorette party focused on her roots then teal is a must for the color palette.

Fearless (Taylor's Version) Bach Party Ideas

The beloved sophomore album that made Swift the youngest person at the time to win Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards. The Fearless era is a sequin-packed look at teenage romance. This is an especially timely bachelorette party theme as the world fell back in love with the album when Swift released Fearless (Taylor's Version) in 2021.

"Call me old school, but my favorite Taylor Swift era is Fearless," says Rumsey. "This is the album that put her on the map—it was 2009's bestselling album in the country and at 20-years-old she was the youngest artist and only female country musician to receive such an achievement. (And that's just scratching the surface of all awards "Fearless" won.) It was so inspiring to watch! Plus, as a preteen with wild hair, I was in awe of her long blonde curls and hair flips."

How to Plan a Fearless (Taylor's Version) Bach Party

Like with a debut-themed bach party, Nashville is a great location to consider. While you're there, you can check out the Gwynn Castle in Tennessee where the music video for "Love Story" was filmed.

What You Need for a Fearless (Taylor's Version) Bach Party

Lots of metallic decor is a must for any Fearless bach party. You'll also need to whip out a curling iron and rock voluminous locks for the event. This era brought us "You Belong With Me" and "Love Story" so get ready for a romance-packed party that involves belting out lots of love ballads.

"Fifteen"-Inspired Bachelorette Party Tattoos

Fearless gave us a peek into Taylor's enduring friendship with her bestie Abigail. "You sit in class next to a red-head named Abigail and soon enough you're best friends." Celebrate your besties with matching temporary tattoos.

"Love Story"-Inspired Gold Mylar Balloons

"Love Story" is one of Swift's most wedding-focused songs so why not celebrate it with XOXO balloons that are all about love? These metallic balloons are the perfect Taylor Swift bachelorette decorations to celebrate her Fearless era.

"You Belong With Me"-Inspired Fabric Markers

Looking for a fun Taylor Swift bachelorette party game or craft? Recreate the singer's shirt from her "You Belong With Me" music video.

Gold Sparkle Tonic Cocktail Syrup

Give your bachelorette party drinks an upgrade with this shimmery cocktail syrup. From her golden locks cascading across the album cover of both Fearless and Fearless (Taylor's Version) to the iconic metallic outfits she rocked on tour, gold and silver are a pivotal element to the Fearless era.

Romantic Gold Confetti Balloons

When it comes to shimmery, romantic details to honor the Fearless era, we're of the opinion that more is more. Finish off your bachelorette party decor with these gold confetti balloons.

Speak Now Bach Party Ideas

Looking for a whimsical fairytale-worthy bach party with lots of purple? It's time for a Speak Now Taylor Swift-themed bachelorette party. These ideas will have sparks flying as they tell "The Story Of Us."

How to Plan a Speak Now Bach Party

If you're engaged to "the best thing, that's ever been mine" then listen up, here's the scoop on planning your perfect bach party. Make sure your itinerary includes a photo shoot at your local library inspired by the music video for "The Story of Us."

What You Need for a Speak Now Bach Party

This era is whimsical and enchanting. So get ready to select decor that is iridescent and focused on purple. You're essentially planning a sparkling fairytale.

Whimsical Pink Tinsel Backdrop

Shades of fuchsia and purple are central to this era. Create a festive photo backdrop with a purple or pink tinsel banner to capture all your Speak Now memories.

Romantic Purple Marble Balloons

Don't stop with just an era-appropriate backdrop. Round out your bach party decor with festive purple balloons.

"Long Live"-Inspired Mini Silver Glitter Crown

"Long live all the mountains we moved. I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you." Celebrate the to-be-wed's fairytale romance with mini crowns befitting a tale of love.

"Enchanted" Poster

We love this poster as decor for a Speak Now era bachelorette party. This poster will have your bachelorette night sparkling in a way that you never want to let go.

"Sparks Fly" Tote Bag

You're here because you met someone for whom these lyrics ring true: "'Cause I see sparks fly, whenever you smile." Welcome your wedding party to the bach party weekend with some goodies in a Fearless-centric tote.

Red (Taylor's Version) Bach Party Ideas

Swift gifted us with the beauty that is "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version)" when she re-released Red in 2021 and we'll never be able to fully express our gratitude. But we will certainly try in the form of a Red-themed Taylor Swift bachelorette party.

How to Plan a Red (Taylor's Version) Bach Party

Here's how to plan an edgy Red-worthy bach party. To start, consider Paris as an homage to the music video for "Begin Again." Then, encourage attendees to sport outfits that include high-waisted shorts, striped shirts and plenty of vintage dresses.

What You Need for a Red (Taylor's Version) Bach Party

This is a given, but most of your decor should be red. The fun thing with this era is that you have twice as much inspiration to draw from. You can look to her original music videos for ideas, but her recent releases, like the iconic ATW10 short film, are packed with ideas as well.

"Keychain On The Ground"-Inspired Craft Kit

There are certain motifs, scarves, cats, getaway cars, that mean a little something more to Swifties. And keychains are one such thing. Pay homage to the iconic accessory with a keychain-making craft at your Red-era bach party.

Red Heart-Shaped Sunglasses

Red heart sunglasses, especially when paired with a graphic tee, are another such iconic emblem of the Swift universe. Gift sunnies to all your besties to rock all weekend long.

Red and White Neoprene Foam Drink Holder

Much like Fearless is all about the color gold and Speak Now celebrates fuchsia, Red is about, well, red. If you're at a loss when it comes to bachelorette party decorations and supplies for this era, hone in on the color red.

Printable Photo Booth Props

It's not every day that you have all your besties together in one place. Celebrate that with some photo booth props to encourage everyone to snap pics at the bachelorette party so you can cherish them for years to come.

Colorful Red Fringe Garland

Is love your partner red, burning red? Deck out a Red-themed Taylor Swift bachelorette party with red decorations.

1989 Bach Party Ideas

1989—the album that cemented Taylor Swift as a global pop icon. If you want a cheerful, energy-packed bach party you can zero in on 1989 as a theme. Think: lots of catchy bops, whimsical decor and plenty of Polaroids to capture the memories.

Balot shares that 1989 is her favorite era. "Aesthetically, I love the looks associated with the era (matching crop top and skirts sets are everything to me) and the fact that this era 'took place' in NYC. Audibly, I loved the uniqueness of the album and how it was the start of something big for her and pop music as a whole. She splashed onto the pop scene in a huge way and took the music industry by storm. She proved to everyone what a giant talent and star she really is. 1989 was a definitive moment in Swift's career and pop culture."

How to Plan a 1989 Bach Party

To start, New York City is the most ideal location for a bachelorette party honoring 1989. Though, if you're feeling more adventurous you could head to Morocco as a nod to the filming that took place there for the "Style" music video. If you end up in New York City, you can plan a day trip to Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York, where the music video for "Blank Space" was filmed.

What You Need for a 1989 Bach Party

This was Swift's Polarioid-filled, pastel, pink, feminine, whimsical era. So decorations and supplies that hint at all of the above are Swiftie-approved. Whatever your wildest dreams for this celebration are, they're sure to be the perfect style.

Fujifilm Instax Instant Camera

All Swifties know just how important Polaroid and instant photos are to the 1989 era—they are on the album cover, after all. Have an instant camera, and lots of film, on hand at the bachelorette party to snap pics with your besties.

XOXO Party Straw

This era is filled with soft colors, like pastel pink and muted mauve. Celebrate that subtle color palette with fun word straws.

"This Love"-Inspired Rose Gold Mylar Balloon

"This love is good…this love came back to me…" The wedding is all about your love story, through the ups and the downs. Nod to that journey with a festive foil balloon.

Album Cover-Inspired Inflatable Seagull Party Toys

Remember those seagulls on Swift's sweatshirt that graced the cover of the album? Those birds deserve a spot in the bachelorette. If you're renting a vacation house with a pool for your bach party weekend, these seagull inflatable figurines are a must.

Cover Art-Inspired Black Mylar Balloons

T.S. 1989—those letters written in black marker are hard to forget with all things 1989 era. Nod to Taylor's penmanship with black letter balloons spelling out your and your partner's initials, plus your wedding date.

Reputation Bach Party Ideas

Are you ready for it? A Rep-era bachelorette that is. "I'd dare to say that Reputation is an era full of incredible inspo, espeically for a prewedding party," says Hanlon. "At first listen, Reputation sounds like an edgy album all about revenge, and it is! But if you really pay attention to the lyrics, you'll find that this album gave us some of her most vulnerable and transparent love songs. ('King of My Heart?' 'Dress?' 'Delicate?' 'Gorgeous?' 'Call It What You Want?' 'New Year's Day?' I swoon!) If you want to plan a Taylor Swift bach party that's not overdone, channel your Reputation era. After all, can't you just imagine prepping for a night out while blasing '...Ready Fot It?' and 'I Did Something Bad?'"

How to Plan a Reputation Bach Party

Ready for a snake-filled, chic-but-grunge bach party with a black, white and silver palette? We're ready for it. We love the idea of a Los Angeles bachelorette party in honor of the music video for "Delicate" being filmed there. "When planning a Reputation-themed bach party, lean into the black-and-white aesthetic," advises Hanlon.

What You Need for a Reputation Bach Party

"If you're renting an Airbnb or a staying in a hotel room, create newspaper spreads customized with the names of the to-be-weds to throw artfully around the space," suggests Hanlon. "Decorate with shimmery silver streamers, suspended disco balls, and shiny confetti to throw around. (You know, for 'New Year's Day' inspo.) We're also partial to the idea of recreating the dazzling diamond bathub moment from the 'Look What You Made Me Do' music video. Trust us, the iconic photo op will be worth the cleanup. And, of course, what's a Reputation party without some snakes? Place a few plastic reptiles around the room to truly commit to this edgy theme."

Cheeky Foam Finger With Engagement Ring

It's time to ditch the "good girl" damsel-in-distress image. "Slowly I said, 'You don't need to save me but would you run away with me?'" We love the "Call It What You Want" vibe of this foam finger.

"RIP Single Life" Banner

The iconic grunge typeface used in this album's cover art is a quintessential part of the Reputation era. This banner will bring a perfectly moody vibe to your bachelorette party decor.

Acrylic Beverage Mixing Sticks

Black, white and silver—Reputation was Swift's edgy monochrome era. To really drive home your Reputation Taylor Swift bachelorette party theme, stick to this sleek, modern color palette, even with little details, like drink stirrers.

Black Marble Balloons

Make the bach party as dark, moody and edgy as possible with a bit of help from these black marble balloons. They're practically begging to be used as a backdrop to a TikTok dance to "Gorgeous" or "...Ready For It?"

Snake Temporary Tattoo Sticker

Thinking about inviting Karyn, the snake from the Reputation Stadium Tour that came on stage during the performance of "Look What You Made Me Do?" Skip the invite and rock snake temporary tattoos instead.

Lover Bach Party Ideas

What's not to love about a Taylor Swift Lover bachelorette? After all, the entire album is all about what weddings are about—love. "The Lovers era is a great one to tap into for a bach party," says Balot. "The Lovers era certainly displays the celebration of love within your group. But then from an aesthetic perspective, you can never go wrong with hearts, pinks, purples, and an airy, colorful, ethereal tone."

"You can't talk about Taylor Swift-themed bach parties without mentioning Lover," explains Rumsey. "Taylor Swift herself said 'This album is really a love letter to love, in all of its maddening, passionate, exciting enchanting, horrific, tragic, wonderful glory.' And, she really did give us some of her most candid love songs. For me, I really saw it as a transition away from naive crushes to finding a life partner who will stick with you through the good, the bad, the mundane and the thrilling (Looking at you 'Paper Rings' and 'Lover.') So, it's naturally perfect for a prewedding celebration."

How to Plan a Lover Bach Party

So how does one plan a cheery, rainbow-filled bachelorette party worthy of this era? According to Balot, "if you want to get super Swifty and you are renting a house or a villa for your bach celebration, you can even recreate the Lover house and make each room or area represent a different room in the Lover house. Of course, the playlist has to feature tons of Taylor and remixes to Taylor Swift songs. In terms of activities, you can play games like 'Which Taylor Swift Era are you?' or 'Finish the Lyric.' There are plenty of ways to get creative when throwing a Taylor Swift Lovers-era themed party."

What You Need for a Lover Bach Party

"To set up a perfect Lovers-era-themed bach party, the first thing you need are lots of hearts and sparkles in the colors pink and purple, with hints of light yellow and light blue," advises Balot. "The decor should look like if Valentine's Day and Ru Paul's Drag Race had a baby and it threw up all over your party area. Sparkles and glitter are synonymous with anything Taylor Swift, so definitely go heavy on that. Next, I would incorporate Taylor Swift song lyrics into the decor, whether it be on banners, cups, t-shirts, or temporary tattoos—such as a bow-and-arrow for 'The Archer' or 'Paper Rings' for the song's namesake."

"Paper Rings"-Inspired Ring-Shaped Paper Cocktail Napkin

"I like shiny things, but I'd marry you with paper rings. Uh huh, that's right." Well, you can have some paper (napkin) rings at the bachelorette party, even if you have shiny thing on your actual ring finger.

Rainbow Holographic Star Balloon

Just about ever corner of this era is packed with color. This star-shaped balloon would feel right at home in the "You Need To Calm Down" music video or even that of "Lover" or "ME!"

Rainbow Foil Curtain

Lover is a maximalist era with the perspective that more color is better, always. Use this curtain to decorate the upcoming nuptials to the one that makes you ask, "Have I known you 20 seconds or 20 years?"

"Paper Rings"-Inspired Diamond Ring Piñata

Don't stop with just paper rings in napkin form, bring a paper ring-shaped piñata to the Taylor Swift Lover bachelorette as a fun activity.

Iridescent Honeycomb Ball Decorations

Remember the iridescent romper Taylor Swift wore to the iHeart Radio Music Awards in 2019? These decorative orbs are an homage to that iconic Lover-era outfit.

Folklore Bach Party Ideas

Folklore was when we fully embraced Swift's folk, indie, woodland aesthetic. Some call Folklore light academia while Evermore is dark academia. This era is the muted autumnal vibe before Evermore cooler winter feel.

How to Plan a Folklore Bach Party

If you're planning a fall bachelorette party (preferably during August) and you want cozy vibes, this era is perfect. A trip to Centennial Park in Nashville, Tennessee, made famous in "Invisible String," is a great way to start a Folklore bachelorette party. Or you could head to a cabin in the woods, preferably in New York, as a nod to The Long Pond Sessions. And let's not forget one of the most obvious options—a lake bachelorette party.

What You Need for a Folklore Bach Party

We've had an epiphany—Linens dresses, cardigans, daisies, and a muted fall color palette are park of the recipe for a perfect Folklore bachelorette party. No tears will ricochet if you include woodsy details in the event.

Whimsical Jigsaw Puzzle

Folklore is all about cozy vibes. If your idea of a perfect bachelorette party includes cuddling by a fire rather than spending a night on the town, bring along this puzzle to build with your besties.

Daisy Acrylic Drink Stirrers

Taylor Swift's 2021 Grammy Awards Oscar de la Renta dress will forever live rent free in our head. At that show Swift won her third Album of the Year award for Folklore, her 11th Grammy altogether. This feat deserves to be celebrated with a toast (preferably with a cocktail that has one of these cute stirrers!).

Daisy and Gold Lollipop

This is me trying to tell you that every cozy cardigan-filled Folklore Taylor Swift bach party needs tasty snacks. Buy a handful for your besties plus one or two for Betty and Inez to smooth things over.

Floral Side Plates

These plates are "not like the regulars, the masquerade revelers." What's more they definitely deserve a spot as part of your Folklore Taylor Swift bachelorette party decorations.

"Invisible String"-Inspired Wild Daisy Napkins

One single thread of gold is tying you to these wild daisy napkins. You can't eat at Taylor Swift's favorite spot for dinner during the bach party without these napkins.

Evermore Bach Party Ideas

Evermore is Folklore's darker, more dreary sister, but we're here for the vibe, which has been called the "yuletide version of cottagecore." If Folklore took place at the edge of the woods, then Evermore is in the middle of the woods—a dark academia-inspired dreary day. As Swift tweeted, harnessing this era could involve someone who "*cries in cottagecore* *screams in soft lullabies* *throws self to the base of a willow tree by a reflection pool at midnight.*" Here are our Evermore bach party ideas that you won't have to merely tolerate, they're sure to bring you happiness.

How to Plan an Evermore Bach Party

Don't let champagne problems and dreary vibes scare you off, they're actually the perfect setting for a bach party that embraces all things cozy. One of the most straightforward ways to honor this era would be with a trip to Coney Island. Or if you "have the nerve to deck the halls" you could host a Christmastime bach party as a nod to this album.

What You Need for an Evermore Bach Party

Lot's of champagne is a must, though we hope you and your partner are more aligned about marriage than the fictional couple from "Champagne Problems." Beyond wine, a trip to Olive Garden may be in the cards (rumor has it Este wasn't there on Tuesday night thought).

"'Tis the Damn Season"-Inspired Napkins

'Tis the damn season to buy these chic embroidered napkins for the bach party. After all, "time flies, messy as the mud on your truck tires," and you'll need something to clean up that very mess.

Cover Art-Inspired Plates

Taylor Swift's wool coat in plate form? We're here for it. These plates are almost too iconic to eat off of.

"Ivy"-Inspired Paper Foliage Garland

Searching for Evermore Taylor Swift bachelorette party decorations? We're partial to this folaige garland à la "Ivy." As Taylor says, "My house of stone, your ivy grows and now I'm covered."

"Long Story Short"-Inspired Paper Garden Chandelier

Long story short, you need this paper garden chandelier to pair with the foliage garland. I threw the other decorations in the bushes and now I'm all about you.

"Evermore"-Inspired Botanical Candle

"The autumn chill that wakes me up" can be warmed by this Evermore-worthy botanical candle. Add ambiance to your Taylor Swift bach party with some cozy candlelight.

Midnights Bach Party Ideas

Want a bachelorette that honor's Swift's latest tome? Here's the inside scoop on planning a bejeweled party that'll leave you in a lavender haze. "I personally love the idea of a Midnights-inspired Taylor Swift Bach party," admits Rumsey.

How to Plan a Midnights Bach Party

"I'm all about dress-up themes and the Midnights album has so many songs for inspiration. A night on the town would definitely be 'Bejeweled.' Everyone would be asked to wear their sparkliest fits and we would probably start at a martini bar. For brunch, I could see a 'Lavender Haze' theme. Everything (and everyone) would be a purple-hue. I'm talking lavender bouquets next to tea candles floating in water with silver star confetti and champagne flutes with purple edible glitter and white cotton candy on top for a magical concoction. Bonus points if it's held in a garden with a koi pond. If the bach party with include time on the water the aesthetic is 'Snow on the Beach.' Everyone dresses in their best coastal grandmother fits, and it's a-okay for guests to wear white with the bride. Lastly, 'Anti-Hero.' This could go two ways: We have a '70s nostalgia theme or matching t-shirts that say 'It's me, hi, I'm the problem' and 'It's me, hi, I'm the bride.'"

What You Need for a Midnights Bach Party

"As for Midnights decor, I'd personally decorate the event space with dark purples and blue steamers, balloons, tablecloths, and some pops of maroon," shares Rumsey. "There would also be lots of silver moon and star motifs and we'd play music on vinyl records. My bach invitations would probably start by saying "Meet me at midnight" and for favors I'd give everyone some fuzzy slippers and some sort of keepsake with their zodiac sign's constellation like a necklace or trinket dish." Pro tip: some cheap rosé is a must.

"Midnights Mayhem With Me"-Inspired Napkins

Even before we heard the tunes from Midnights, Taylor Swift gave us a peek into some of the retro vibes that mark the Midnights era as she creatively dropped track name previews on social media. We're still sad we didn't get to be in the retro room where Taylor filled "Midnights Mayhem With Me," but these gingham '70s-inspired napkins are a nice consolation prize.

"Maroon"-Inspired Large Paper Plates

Ready for a bach party filled with "your roommate's cheap-ass screw-top rosé?" Complete the spread with these maroon paper plates for the snacks.

"Bejeweled"-Inspired Blue Fringe Garland

Need a great Midnights bach party decor idea? Don't put this garland in the basement, it can still make the whole place shimmer.

"Snow On The Beach"-Inspired Beach Towel

Whether or not there's snow, this Lana Del Rey-worthy towel is a must for a beach bachelorette party inspired by Midnights. And if you haven't settled on a destination yet, take a peek at our guide to the best beach bachelorette destinations.

"Lavender Haze"-Inspired Star Foil Balloons

Your bach party is about celebrating that lavender haze you feel creepin' up on you. Since you answered the wondering about "if I'm gonna be your bride," now it's time to party with these "Lavender Haze"-inspired balloons.

Taylor Swift All Eras Bach Party Ideas

If you're torn between which era to choose, skip the decision and go with an all-eras Taylor Swift bachelorette theme instead. "The beauty of hosting a Taylor Swift Eras-themed bach party is that anything truly goes," says Hanlon. "If you can't pick just one era, combine the ones you love most for a party that's truly memorable and tailored (Taylored?) to your favorite songs and themes."

How to Plan a Taylor Swift All Eras Bach Party

The best thing about an all-eras bachelorette party is that it gives you the freedom to draw from the eras you love the most. Chances are, you and your besties don't have the same favorite album. Let each wedding party member dress according to their favorite era for the bachelorette party.

What You Need for a Taylor Swift All Eras Bach Party

"Taylor Swift wrote 10 albums and, like you, they all deserve to be celebrated," notes Rumsey. "Pick your favorite album or song and get creative, even if you haven't seen the theme done before. And you don't have to choose just one era for your bach party. Consider a mix with a pink, purple and blue backdrop with a sign that says 'They Found Their Lover' for pictures and a drink bar with tons of bubbly that's labeled 'Champagne Problems' while a dress up night can be 'Mirrorball.'"

Taylor Swift Cupcake Toppers

With so many eras to choose from, it can be hard to pick. These assorted cupcake toppers solve the problem for you—your bach party desserts can be a celebration of all things Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift Eras Cocktail Napkin Set

Your love for Taylor will extend far beyond your bachelorette party weekend, so why let the fun end there? These cloth napkins are great for a bach party, but can be used time and again at furture dinner parties and holiday parties.

Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button Cat Plates

Make Taylor's beloved cats part of the bachelorette party fun. We love these pastel plates as an homage to her iconic Scottish fold felines.

Taylor Swift Eras Cookie Cutters

It's no secret that Swift is an avid baker. Celebrate the singer's hobby by baking cookies dedicated to her array of albums.

Taylor Swift Eras Banner

Give every era some love by decorating the bach party with eras-inspired decorations. This garland celebrates every stage of Swift's iconic journey.
