The Knot's 13 Ring Drop Details

Are you ready for it? Our scavenger hunt in New York is over, but that doesn't mean that we are never ever getting back together. ICYMI: We hid 13 prizes (a certain someone's lucky number) around the city and one enchanted fan took home a big ring from Ring Concierge–no paper rings for them. Oh, and in case you love a riddle: See below for the clues that we dropped during our Taylor-made experience.

The Knot & Ring Concierge Ring Easter Egg Hunt ("Contest") and Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") are sponsored by The Knot Worldwide Inc., 2 Wisconsin Circle, 3rd Floor, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 ("Sponsor"), in partnership with The Ring Concierge ("Co-Sponsor").

1. ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible to participate in the Contest, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older,

• Be a legal resident of New York, and

• Follow both @theknot and @ringconcierge on Instagram and TikTok.

To be eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes, you must:

Be 18 years of age or older,

• Be a legal resident of the U.S., excluding Florida,
• Follow both @theknot and @ringconcierge on Instagram and TikTok,
• Have downloaded The Knot app on iOS or Android and/or logged in to your The Knot app on iOS or Android, and
• Have not won one of the Contest Prizes

For the Contest and Sweepstakes, employees of Sponsor, Co-Sponsor, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

2. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: Participation in the Contest and/or the Sweepstakes constitutes the Participant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning the Contest Prizes or the Sweepstakes Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

3. The Contest and the Sweepstakes:

The Contest is a scavenger hunt, wherein the Sponsor will place 13 hidden ring boxes at 13 undisclosed locations throughout New York City. Clues for the undisclosed locations will be provided by the Administrator in various methods including, but not limited to, posts on theknot.com/13rings and/or the Sponsor's and/or Co-Sponsor's social media accounts. Participants will have to decipher the clues to determine the undisclosed location. The Contest begins at 11:00am ET on August 29, 2025 and ends at 6:00 pm ET on August 29, 2025.

For Sweepstakes, all eligible Participants can enter in the Sweepstakes by completing the entry form ("Entry") between 11:00 am ET on August 29, 2025 and ends and 11:00 am ET on August 30, 2025 ("Entry Period"). Eligible Participants are limited to one entry, and all entries are subject to the rules outlined herein. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, illegible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified, or for any error, whether human, technical, or otherwise. Sponsor reserves the right to end and/or change Contest and/or Sweepstakes at any time, including prior to the expiration of the Entry Period.

4. The Prizes:

For the Contest, there are 13 individual prizes ("Contest Prizes"). 13 Participants of the Contest will receive the Contest Prizes. 12 of the Contest Prizes will be a $400 Ring Concierge gift card and 1 of the Contest Prizes will be a 4.08 carat E/Vs2 Cushion Lab Grown Diamond set in the Co-Sponsor's Cloud Solitaire engagement ring (retail value $10,278) (the "Ring Prize"). The Contest Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash equivalent will be offered. Co-Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Contest Prizes with another of equal or greater value if necessary. Any and all Contest Prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the Contest Winners. For the Sweepstakes, there is one prize ("Sweepstakes Prize"). The Sweepstakes Prize is a third party gift card for $5,000. The Sweepstakes Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash equivalent will be offered unless required by law. Sponsor will select the third party gift card in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Sweepstakes Prize with another of equal or greater value if necessary. Additional gift card terms and conditions apply.

5. How to win the Contest Prizes and the Sweepstakes Prize:

For the Contest, eligible Participants can win one of the Contest Prizes by arriving at one of the 13 hidden ring boxes prior to a winner being selected for said location, selecting a song to perform from the artist identified by the judge at the respective location, performing the selected song, and being selected by the judge ("Contest Winners"). The judge will be an employee of Sponsor and will select the Contents Winners using the following criteria: 1) what song the Participant selects, and 2) the Participants performance of the selected song. The Contest Winners will provide their first and last name and contact information to Sponsor. All decisions are final. All acts of physical and/or verbal aggression by Participants during the Contest will result in immediate disqualification. Each Participant can only receive one of the Contest Prizes.

For the Sweepstakes, on or about September 5, 2025 ("Drawing Date"), one Participant from all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period will be selected at random by Sponsor (the "Sweepstakes Winner"). Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received during the Entry Period. All decisions are final.

In the event any of the potential Contest Winners or the potential Sweepstakes Winner (collectively, the "Winners") are determined to be ineligible in accordance with these Official Rules, The Contest Prizes and/or the Sweepstakes Prize may be forfeited and may be awarded to alternate Winners. For the Contest Winners, Sponsor will determine in its sole discretion on how to determine alternative Contest Winners. For the Sweepstakes Winner, an alternative winner will be determined by re-drawing from among all remaining Entries received.

Sponsor reserves the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any Participant found to be tampering with the operation of the Contest and/or the Sweepstakes or in violation of these Official Rules. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a Participant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to submit the Entry will be deemed to be the Participant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

6. Prize Notification and Fulfillment:

The Participant that wins the Ring Prize will provide Co-Sponsor with their W-9 for tax purposes. The Sweepstakes Winner will provide Sponsor with their W-9 for tax purposes and will be mandated to enroll in Sponsor's Vendor Onboarding process in Coupa. All Winners are required to sign Sponsor's Affirmation of Eligibility/Liability & Publicity Release prior to receiving either the Contest Prizes and/or the Sweepstakes Prize. Subject to the foregoing requirements, the Contest Prizes will be given to the Contest Winners during the Contest or shortly thereafter and the Sweepstakes Prize will be sent to the Sweepstakes Winner shortly after the Drawing Date. Sponsor and Co-Sponsor may contact Winners if more information is needed. In the event a potential Contest Winner or Sweepstakes Winner is determined to be ineligible in accordance with these Official Rules (including by failure to respond to any notification attempt within the specified time), the Content Prizes and/or Sweepstakes Prizes may be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate Winner. The alternative Winner will be selected as described above in Section 5. Each Winner may be required to supply Sponsor or Co-Sponsor with his/her social security number for tax purposes.

Participant represent and warrant that it is the owner or licensee of any and all materials and information, including photos, videos, and personal information, submitted by Participant to the Contest and or Sweepstakes and Participant automatically grants, and represents and warrants that Participant has the right to grant, to Sponsor and Co-Sponsor an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully-paid-up, royalty-free, worldwide license (with the right to sublicense at multiple levels) to use, copy, publicly perform, publicly display, reformat, translate, excerpt (in whole or in part), transfer, distribute any such materials for any purpose and in any format on or in connection with Sponsor's or Co-Sponsor respective businesses, or the promotion thereof, prepare derivative works, incorporate into other works, and/or grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing. Submissions must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of the Sponsor and/or Co-Sponsor, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content, and Submissions must not infringe any intellectual property rights of third parties. Participant furthermore represents and warrants that all persons and entities connected with the materials and information submitted in connection with the Contest and/or Sweepstakes, and all other persons and entities whose names, voices, photographs, likenesses, works, services and materials have been used in such materials/information or its/their exploitation, have authorized the use of their names, voices, photographs, likenesses, performances, and biographical data in connection with the advertising, promotion, trade and other exploitation of the materials and information and the rights granted herein.

8. Participant Image Release

For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, Participant hereby grants to Sponsor and Co-Sponsor and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective licensees, successors, and assigns ("Affiilates"): (a) the right to film, videotape, photograph, Participant during the Contest and/or Sweepstakes and any materials provided by Participant; and (b) the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, transferable, fully paid-up, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, promote, publicly perform, publicly display, modify, reformat, reproduce, translate, prepare derivative works, incorporate into other works, excerpt (in whole or in part), distribute, and otherwise exploit such films, videotapes, photographs, and recordings (collectively, the "Materials"), and my name, social media handles, picture, image, likeness, voice, and biographical information (collectively, the "Identity"), edited or altered as Sponsor and/or Co-Sponsor see fit, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, for any purpose, including but not limited to advertising, promotion or trade, without further consent from or any royalty, payment, or other compensation to Participant. This license applies to all content provided by Participant or created by Sponsor, Co-Sponsor or Affiliates in connection with Participant with the Contest and/or Sweepstakes, whether or not such content includes my Identity, and includes, without limitation, the right to publish or share such content via social media platforms, websites, marketing channels, or other distribution outlets. Sponsor shall be the sole and exclusive owner of all Materials and derivative works thereof.

Participant understands and acknowledges that Participant's image, voice, and likeness may be considered personal or biometric information under certain privacy laws (including CCPA, CPRA, BIPA, and GDPR). By signing this release, I give explicit consent to Sponsor's collection, storage, and sharing of the Materials and Identity for purposes including marketing, promotional use, and internal operations. Sponsor may share this data with affiliates and select third-party service providers. I may request access, correction, or deletion of my data, or revoke consent, by contacting legal@theknotww.com. Sponsor will cease new public-facing uses within 30 days of revocation, subject to archival use and legal obligations. Sponsor will implement industry-standard security measures to protect this data.

Participant acknowledges that TKWW is the sole and exclusive owner of all right, title and interest in the Materials including but not limited to all copyrights and other intellectual property rights therein. Participant further acknowledges that Participant has no right of approval, compensation, or claim (including, without limitation, claims based on invasion of privacy, defamation, right of publicity, copyright, or trademark) relating to the use of the Materials or Identity. Participant acknowledges that Sponsor is under no obligation to use the rights granted herein.

9 INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

By participating in the Contest and/or the Sweepstakes, each Participant agrees to defend, indemnify and otherwise hold Sponsor, Co-Sponsor, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, the agents, officers, directors, and/or employees (collectively, the "Released Parties") harmless from and against any and all liability of any nature whatsoever arising out of or relating to (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest and/or Sweepstakes by or directed by Participant; (b) breaches of or inaccuracies in any representations or warranties of, or license grants by, Participant or any other terms and conditions contained herein; and/or (c) injury, death, or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Participant's participation in the Contest and/or Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize, including any such claim by the Released Parties' employees or agents or any third parties.

By participating in the Contest and/or Sweepstakes, each Participant (1) agrees to release Sponsor, Co-Sponsor, and each of the Released Parties from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, costs, and/or expenses, including without limitation property damages, personal injury and/or death, arising out of participating in the Contest and/or Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, (2) waives any and all claims against Sponsor, Co-Sponsor, and each of the Released Parties based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, or any other intellectual property or privacy right, and (3) acknowledges that neither the Sponsor nor Co-Sponsor have made or are responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Neither Sponsor nor Co-Sponsor shall be liable for any damages whatsoever related to or arising from (a) any technical errors that may prevent any Participant from participating in any way; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest and/or Sweepstakes; and/or (c) errors in the administration of the Contest and/or Sweepstakes.

Participant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. Participant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties' aggregate liability for all claims will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Contest and/or the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorneys' fees.

10. DISPUTES:

Except where prohibited by law, each Participant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest and/or Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of New York. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, Participant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor and/or Co-Sponsor in connection with the Contest and/or Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of New York or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than New York.

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS:

In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest and/or Sweepstakes is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, the Sponsor or Co-Sponsor may, in its sole discretion and at any time, (a) suspend the Contest and/or Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then, at Sponsor's or Co-sponsor's sole discretion, resume the Contest and/or Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules (b) award the prize from among the eligible Participants received up to the time of the impairment and/or c) terminate the Contests and/or Sweepstakes. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest and/or Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, each of the Sponsor and Administrator reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure or delay by the Sponsor or Co-Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. The Contest and/or Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Meta, ByteDance or similar social media sites. Any information Participant provides in order to enter the Contest and/or Sweepstakes is being provided to Sponsor, and not to Meta, ByteDance, or similar social media sites.
