I had my wedding here 1/14/12 and everyone was AMAZING! The cateres were on point, they made my night very smoothe and worry free. Also, we had the plated meal, and the prime Rib was pretty good (I hear anyway) as the bride, you dont really get to eat that much! But they are very affordable and the location is very beautiful! I recommend to EVERYONE who is getting married!!!

Beautiful!!!!! Too bad they didnt have a whole lot of dates available or I would have booked. Super cheap and the staff is very nice!

Admiral Baker is such a beautiful place to get married in. Sandielou, who is the Catering Sales Manager did such an awesome job assisting us with our weekly questions and guiding us on which vendors she highly recommended. It was an honor working with her because she made our wedding planning less stressful and always told us to stay positive that everything will turn out great. And sure enough it did. I will miss working with her and am grateful that I had the opportunity to work with her. Shiraney was very helpful as well, who is her assistant. Whenever Sandielou was out, Shiraney got back to me right away to answer all of my questions or help me schedule appointments with them. Again, I really enjoyed my wedding and how it all turned out thanks to both their help! :)

My husband & I couldn't have been more happier with this venue and Sandielou was AMAZING. The facility is gorgeous and the perfect size for our ~200 wedding guest list. Sandielou was so helpful & never hesitated to meet with us whenever we had questions. She was like working with family! If I had to do it all over again, without a doubt, I'd choose this venue over & over again. Prices are affordable & WELL WORTH IT & I would never get tired with working with Sandielou. You can find her reviewed on yelp & there's nothing but GOOD things to say about her. I couldn't be more impressed with ABC :):)

Beautiful views, wonderful staff, memorable day of my life! Everything went perfectly and I can't thank the staff enough for making my day stunning! I would definitely use this location again in the future for a large gathering!

I have heard SUCH good things about this place and when my friend told me they were catering I felt really excited but it was a HUGE let down...HUGE. Food didn't taste right and some wasn't all the way cooked.

We loved the Admiral Baker club. Both our Ceremony and Reception was at this location. The outdoor patio was fantastic. The views were great and the setup was perfect for our party. The weather ended up being over 90 degrees that day and the shade the patio provided was super. We were able to have the outdoors feel with out the sun beating down on us. The ball room was fantastic. We loved the great architectual details like the huge wood ceiling beams and old school chandeliers. We also really appreciated the dressing rooms and the free use of some golf cart to let us take photos out on the course. One thing to remember is that you have to have a military sponsor here. Not a problem for us as we had a lot of veterans in the family, including myself. Great value, Excellent food, No hassles.

I loved that Admiral Baker was private, that our wedding was the only thing going on at the golf course after the golfers left when the sun went down. Admiral Baker, a military venue, is located near Mission Valley, a high traffic area, plus it's near Qualcomm Stadium, where the SD Chargers play, but the venue was away from the city, and it seemed like we were not in San Diego -- it was nice. The outdoor ceremony area was perfect and the grass around the venue is beautiful. The ballroom is great for less than 200 guests. The room was intimate. The food was delicious! I appreciate that they offer their own private tastings, as opposed to attending the 'mass tasting' at Admiral Kidd Club for all military venues.;Watch for double booking of the patio area (ceremony area) during your rehearsal. Since there isn't a charge for the rehearsal (at least not for us), they booked a dinner that same evening in the patio. It was understandable, since that's a way for them to generate revenue. We were lucky that it did not interfere with our rehearsal. Guests were coming in for the dinner just right when we finished up.

You get a lot for your money- a great central location, a beautiful hall with a nice outdoor space, delicious food, wonderful service, lots of (free!) parking. The catering managers are very knowledgeable and easy to work with.;The venue's chairs are a little outdated, so be sure to order chair covers!
