Oz Farm was our dream wedding venue!! Jenny and the team are amazing and true professionals at what they do. Despite some curveballs and unpredictable weather (as there always are on your wedding day!), Jenny, Lindsay & Brandon were calm and cool throughout it all and kept the day running smoothly. They always have a plan A, B and C so you don’t have to stress. Bonus for keeping you fed, a drink in hand and scoping out the best photo ops :) we love you Jenny, thank you again!
Jenny and the entire team at Oz Farm are absolutely wonderful! The venue itself is amazing, and having so many wonderful professionals on the team made our special day our dream come true. We didn't even need to worry when there was rain in the forecast, as Jenny, Lindsey and the rest of the team seamlessly transitioned our ceremony to a beautiful indoor setup. Their in-house catering (Shale Hill Catering) is excellent - everyone raved about the food - and in-house floral design company (Poppy Field Designs) - exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff also were just a delight - everyone was so friendly and really cared about making sure our guests were taken care of for the entirety of the event. We are so grateful to Jenny and the ENTIRE team (which we know, is a LOT of people) for a truly unforgettable day.
First don’t hire stagecoach taxi. They are a recommended transportation vendor and i recommend Coxsackie instead! Stagecoach is beyond unprofessional but thats another review. Now to oz farm.!!!! The wedding was beyond beautiful and special shout out to Brandon and Lindsey for being amazing additions to making sure we, as the couple, are doing ok and they were VERY attentive and amazing at what they do. The venue is absolutely drop dead gorgeous and i am getting sooo many compliments with how gorgeous everything came out.
The wedding itself is 5 stars but the reason for the lower stars is because the bride should NEVER be aware of if theres drunk drama but I was made aware BY THE VENUE and my party was cut short (we lost money then) and it was not even a physical fight that was the drama. I am still getting texts with how rude the venue owner was to me. In my opinion If theres a problematic guest just kick them out. Simple. The venue shouldnt cut the music and storm to the bride and tell me to handle it when i did not even know there was an issue happening in the first place. And why the bride? The groom is a cop. Why not ask him for help before you go to the bride who cant do much to help anyway. The security team was amazing and did their job to try their best to diffuse the screaming match situation but a complete over reaction in my eyes from venue for leaving the yelling scene outside, to then shutting down the music inside ,which now causes a new scene where the after party was so now ALL the guests know that there is something happening so now they run out to check it out, AND telling the bride (of all people) to handle it (i was blissfully unaware of any problematic drunk yelling guest) but again My husband and I had the most Beautiful wedding and loved every minute of it. Just wish we didn’t waste money paying for after party food and dj and transportation and not getting the full time we paid for and not getting money back. Weddings are not cheap! Not fair in my eyes and not handled properly to get the bride involved. And on top of that i am getting texts till 2 am from the venue to keep intervening where i can not control a drunk guests actions. But i don’t want to end the review on bad note because all in all, aside from drunk guest drama, to which i wanted nothing to do with and is beyond my control how grown adults handle their liquor, the wedding was a success and i continue to get texts and calls about how it was the best wedding any of my guests have gone to and a lot of it had to do with the gorgeous venue and amazing party planners lindsey and brandon. Shale hill as catering is 5 out of 5 but again thats a separate review.
Words cannot even begin to describe the feelings we (STILL) have from having our wedding at Oz Farm.
As if the venue itself needed anything further to make it spectacular; Jenny & her team go above and beyond to assure you and your guests are taken care of AND having a blast!

We had our wedding at the OZ farm in Saugerties this weekend. I can not even express the gratitude I have for Jenny and Heather for pulling off the most amazing celebration of love I could have ever dreamed up. We began working with Heather almost 2 years ago - planning our wedding for May 2020. With COVID, we had to postpone our wedding - and the whole way, Heather was there to answer questions, help us, and listen to our concerns. The whole time she stayed calm, but was also transparent and honest with us, which we really appreciated. The end result was pure magic. We had a smaller wedding than originally planned, and things changed up until the last minute, but the whole way, Heather’s main concern was that we were happy. She advocated for us and knew exactly what our vision was - and it came out perfectly. The party was SO MUCH FUN! The whole crew working at Oz is warm, friendly and a lot of fun. We used their caterer kitchen at Shale Hill Farm - the food was unbelievable, and beautiful. We used their DJ- Theo Marshall and I could not have been happier. He just totally got our vibe and played all of the right music. Everyone loved it! The farm is so beautiful on its own, with flowers and decor is was a fairytale. I am so so so happy.

Hats off to our planner Heather , simply the best!!
Let me first say that I didn't have my wedding at this venue. This review is for the brides who are looking for a venue and want to start planning! If you are planning a wedding from out of the area, DO NOT go to this venue. There are A LOT of weekend horse shows in this area, and during these shows the hotels in the area will not give you a block and the rates are $400+ a night. Did Oz Farms tell me that? NO. Are they a horse farm and most likely knew about this? YES. How in the world am I going to have 200+ people from Long Island stay up in Saugerties for my wedding? Well according to Oz, "guests don't matter, they'll figure it out for your wedding". As a wedding venue I really don't understand how they could say guests don't matter. That is what a venue and wedding is for..... the guests.. to enjoy themselves....... They will promise you the world with planning and then ignore you once payments are made. Extremely unprofessional and disorganized - trust me it would be in your best interest to look elsewhere, there's much more beautiful and organized places around!!!!!
Oz Farm was the most amazing venue to get married at!! As one friend said our wedding was the most instagrammable wedding of all time. Jenny has baby goats, horses, a glamping tent, horse trailer bar and continues to put more and more into the property. It made the wedding so fun and unique and our guests had the best time. The barn is absolutely stunning and can fit many different sizes of parties from small to big. The venue is also incredibly weather ready for any surprising cold or rain that could happen. The Oz team had so many ideas and backup plans which thankfully we didn't need to use, but it was comforting to know the venue had so many options.
Jenny also just got our vision from day 1 and helped bring it to life and shared helpful advice along the way from all of her years of events and weddings. She helped us to create table settings and even floral arrangements that complimented the barn and it turned out beautiful and was everything we hoped and imagined for our wedding. She even thought of creative ways to re-use our ceremony flowers around the space. Also, not common in the business but we never felt like Jenny was nickel and diming us or trying to up sell us on unnecessary things for the wedding. She always kept everything very real with us and helped us find alternatives in our budget when needed. She knows all the things that will make the day special, and what is not needed.
Her partner Steven is also an amazing photographer and got some great shots of the wedding as well, I would definitely consider using him if you are getting married at the venue. He took incredibly thoughtful shots of all the details of the day we would want to remember.
Also the food!!! If you do the venue definitely use their caterers. The Oz Farm chef Dan listened to all of our specific needs and requests and we got rave reviews on the food for the wedding. People are still talking about how fresh and unique the dishes were Friends loved that we did a family style menu, and we loved how much say we had in every item served.
Oz is not your cookie cutter catering hall, it is so much better. If you are looking for something more unique you should absolutely consider Oz. It was a reasonable distance from NYC for guests to travel but far enough away to feel special and unique. We were also able to tailor the whole wedding from menu, wine, and decor to to be our dream wedding.
Thank you again to Jenny and the whole Oz staff! We were so happy with our wedding and will remember it forever!!
