Former 'Real Housewives of New York City' Star Bethenny Frankel is Engaged to Paul Bernon
Wedding bells are in Bethenny Frankel's future. The former Real Housewives of New York City star is engaged to longtime boyfriend Paul Bernon, as confirmed by People. News of the engagement comes just hours after multiple publications confirmed Frankel and her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy, finalized their contentious divorce in January 2021, eight years after their split.
Frankel sparked rumors of an engagement over the weekend, when she was seen wearing a large diamond ring while on vacation in Florida.
The entrepreneur began dating Bernon, a film producer and real estate developer, in 2018. She opened up about their "wonderful" relationship to People in 2019. "He's a good person who I love," she said. "I don't know if it's a yin to my yang, but he's really relaxed, he's mellow and he's very, very funny."
During an appearance on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live in 2019, she shared more about Bernon's relationship with her 10-year-old daughter, Bryn, who she shares with Hoppy. "Bryn knows him and loves him," she told host Andy Cohen. "They're very, very similar people."
It'll be the third marriage for Frankel, whose personal relationships were chronicled extensively during her eight-season run on RHONY. Before she wed Hoppy in 2010, she was previously married to executive producer Peter Sussman from 1996 to 1997.
Frankel is the latest "Bravolebrity" to celebrate an exciting life milestone. Fellow Bravo star Hannah Berner, who appears on Summer House, recently announced her engagement to comedian Des Bishop, while Vanderpump Rules personality Lala Kent welcomed a baby girl as she plans her wedding to fiancé Randall Emmett.
