Born on September 17, 1992, in Fresno, California, she is an American entrepreneur, philanthropist and former volleyball player. According to her LinkedIn profile, she attended Rice University in Houston, Texas, where she earned a degree in sports management and sociology in 2014.

After graduation, she interned with the NBA Summer League and later worked in the basketball operations department for the Philadelphia 76ers. In 2021, Riddlesprigger launched her own apparel brand, Sincerely, Mariah, featuring loungewear with messages intended to promote positivity and self-empowerment. She also spearheaded a diaper drive for the Milwaukee Diaper Mission in 2021 and is involved in the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation.

Antetokounmpo shared a photo on Instagram of Riddlesprigger kissing him on the cheek, captioned "Happy New Years from us!" publicly acknowledging their relationship. This is the earliest photo of the pair on social media.

February 2020: The couple welcomes their first child

The couple welcomed their first son, Liam Charles Antetokounmpo, on February 11, 2020.

May 2021: Mariah Riddlesprigger launches her clothing brand

In May 2021, Riddlesprigger launched Sincerely, Mariah. It's an apparel brand featuring loungewear with messages intended to promote positivity and self-empowerment.

"It's stuff you can wear around the house, you can wear just running to the store," she shared with the Wisconsin Rapids Tribune. "I'm big on comfort. If you see me around Milwaukee, I'm most likely in yoga pants or sweats and a sweatshirt. That's my go-to, so I don't want to stray too far from who I am."

"It just really came from me being down and wanting to spread more positivity because I know more people are going through similar situations," she said, reflecting on feeling isolated as a new mom during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I felt like, especially with everything going on in the world today and lately, more people need more positive messages and less negativity," she recalled. "I just thought it was a good time to go ahead and embrace that."

July 2021: The Milwaukee Bucks win the NBA Championship

Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks to their first NBA Championship in 50 years and was named the Finals MVP. In the decisive Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Phoenix Suns, Antetokounmpo delivered a historic performance, scoring 50 points, securing 14 rebounds and recording five blocks, propelling the Bucks to a 105-98 victory.

August 2021: Birth of Second Child

Their second son, Maverick Shai Antetokounmpo, was born on August 18, 2021. This sparked the couple's diaper mission journey with the Milwaukee Diaper Mission. They raised a grand total of $126,000, along with 270,000 diapers.

"Everybody wanted us to do a baby shower for Mav, but we didn't need anything, and it was so close to Liam being born," she said in an interview with People. "But we wanted to do something special for Mav's birth, so we started the diaper drive."

2022: The Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation is founded

In 2022, the Antetokounmpo family launched their own charity, the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation (CAFF), in honor of Antetokounmpo's late father.

"The Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation is inspired by the example of our father Charles," the foundation website states. "He taught us that the opportunities we receive are not just for enriching ourselves. Each of us has a responsibility to help others achieve their dreams."

In an interview with People, Riddlesprigger opened up about the experience: "I'm so much more than just his partner or his fiancée, and I wanted to find what I'm passionate about," she said. "It's taken a while, but now that I've figured it out. It's exciting, and I have so much drive to figure out how I can help other people with our family's platform."

September 2023: They announce their engagement and the birth of their daughter

In September 2023, during a press conference, Antetokounmpo referred to Riddlesprigger as his fiancée, confirming their engagement: "Soon [I'm going] to be married to this beautiful woman next to me."

While many celebrity proposals come with a grand story and plenty of publicity, it seems that Antetokounmpo and Riddlesprigger kept their special moment private, just for themselves. In the same month, the couple also welcomed their daughter, Eva Brooke Antetokounmpo.

July 2024: Antetokounmpo is Greece's Olympic flag bearer

Antetokounmpo was selected as the male flag bearer for Greece at the Paris 2024 Olympics, with Antigoni Drisbioti as their female flag bearer.

September 2024: The couple confirms their wedding in Greece

Like other famous couples in the NBA (including Jason Preston) Antetokounmpo and Riddlesprigger had a destination wedding. While the exact date of their wedding hasn't been shared, Antetokounmpo confirmed that they were wed during a celebration in Greece.

"Most of my teammates, Bucks teammates, ex-teammates... they were there," Antetokounmpo said in an interview with People in September 2024. His friends and business partners were also in attendance, as were his three children. "It was a celebration of our love. Now we've become one. And I'm happy that we did it," he shared.
