Roshel and her team at AddyRose Design were absolutely amazing and made our dream wedding a reality even when hurtles popped up. My now husband and I were planning to have our destination wedding in Yosemite National Park. Six months out from our wedding date with the advice from Roshel, we needed to reconsider our options due to Covid-19 and event sizes within the park. I appreciated the transparency and advice Roshel gave us. She did not sugar coat anything, she was upfront and honest which is something I am very grateful for. With a heavy heart we decided we would need to change our plans. We did not want to change our wedding date so we started looking at other venues. When first picking Yosemite Chapel as our venue, it was tied with another option. We went with Yosemite since it was considered more of a destination wedding, with us being residents of GA. That second option was The Biltmore Estates in Asheville, NC. So six months out from our date, I reach out to the Biltmore and thought to myself.. if it’s meant to be the venue will be available on our original wedding date. And to our surprise it was! I went into the conversation with Roshel feeling down as I knew I would have to start from scratch and I had really been enjoying working with her on the wedding plans for Yosemite. Since our wedding was not going to be in CA anymore I assumed that is where our relationship would end. To my surprise, again… Roshel responded to the news well and even offered to continue to plan our wedding from her home in CA and be there to plan and manage on our wedding day. She even sent me other weddings she planned in different states trying to show me she was capable of doing it. Little did she know she didn’t even need to show me she was capable because I already believed from the first 6 months of working with her that she was and is beyond capable of planning a dream wedding from afar. Plus I couldn’t imagine executing this day with anyone else. Roshel was on top of everything. Each time my nervous self would reach out to her about missing something her response would always be I’m already on it or I got this covered you don’t need to worry. She was not only on top of every fine detail but was also there for myself and Justin during the emotional roller coaster of planning a wedding. She always listened to what Justin and I wanted first and was honest and upfront with us with anything that popped up. She was always available when I needed her and handled work with the vendors and our family and friends perfectly. She checked on myself and Justin throughout the day making sure we were okay and things were going well. Our wedding would not have been as special and run so smoothly if it wasn’t for Roshel and her team. Great experience working with Roshel to plan an intimate ceremony in Yosemite! She helped me plan my timeline around the crowds (which was my biggest concern) and she personally crafted my bouquet which was beautiful! I was so nervous knowing that I wouldn't have a chance to meet the officiant or the hair/make-up professional prior to the day of the wedding, but they were both absolutely perfect! Roshel clearly knows the best vendors in the area and will ensure your day is perfect!

We loved working with Roshel and her team on the day of our wedding. We hired her as a day of planner, but she did so much more. She helped us find a new makeup artist at the last minute, worked with all of our vendors, helped me make last-minute adjustments and made everything go smoothly. She was easy to talk to and always available if I needed something. The day of the event, I wasn't stressed at all because she was around to make things go smoothly. She was wonderful!
