The Ahavah Cottage is a luxurious wedding venue located in Elysian, MN, an hour's drive south of Minneapolis. This exclusive and high-class event space boasts a serene countryside setting with breathtaking views, charming decors, and ample photo opportunities. Couples can surround themselves in rustic elegance, making their vows in a wooded clearing before enjoying a night of dinner and dancing in the contemporary cottage.
The purpose-built cottage venue is beautifully designed with log-effect cladding and a striking white and black color scheme. The stark outline of the building contrasts with the rich, green verdure of the surrounding nature, creating an unforgettable impression on couples and their guests. Inside, a vaulted ceiling and an abundance of floor space create a bright and airy atmosphere for wedding receptions. Guests can take a stroll outside in the flower garden or catch their breath on the patio area between dance numbers.
Packages include linens, tables, chairs, and parking. Ahavah Cottage also operates a pet-friendly policy, allowing couples to include their nearest and dearest on their special day. We also offer elopement packages starting at $2200.

ive, helpful and answered all of our questions before and after our wedding. I would say that anyone looking for a wedding venue or a venue in general, to look at Ahavah!
They include tables, chairs and linens in the rental price, which was a great saved expense. They also have different decor that you can rent from them. They supply the alcohol for the evening, if you want that, and you can completely customize all of it! They also offer different food & drink packages for the morning of as you’re getting ready. Their offerings are plenty and I would say very affordable! And their bar tenders are so fun & sweet!
They keep the grounds very clean and presentable. The patio was a hit for us. Everyone was hanging outside by the fire pits and standing heaters. And these items were no additional cost to us. They are very upfront with pricing and have no hidden fees! There is so much more included with the venue that I didn’t get to, but I recommend Ahavah to everyone!
The only 2 down sides are their bathrooms are pretty small, so the bathroom lines can become very long throughout the night. And you don’t have access to the venue until 10am unless you pay a decent amount of money to get in earlier.

The addition of having an indoor ceremony space is such a great bonus for peace of mind in case of bad weather! Working with Leslie, Jacob, and Jordan was awesome. They were so quick and responsive with any questions that we had and willing to work with us on everything that we needed! We couldn’t have been happier with the space and will continue to recommend the Ahavah Cottage to our family and friends!

The very special part of Ahavah is the singleness of the venue. Everything that had been planned made my bride and our covenant the true center of attention.
I can not overemphasize how this venue's tasteful details such as the ceremony space, cocktail hour with canoe full of iced drinks, spread out visiting areas and charming patio that doubled as a dance floor made the day so special and memorable to everyone.
