In 1996, Monique Lhuillier established her eponymous wedding dress collection, today affectionately known as Monique Lhuillier Bridal. The previous year, the burgeoning household name had married her husband and found herself frustrated with the lack of options, personalized to her taste, while wedding planning herself.

The following year, Lhuillier's response to the void in the market was simple: she launched her inaugural collection of wedding dresses at a trade show. Since then, so much has clearly occurred for the designer, including designing wedding dresses for celebrities and dressing VIPs on red carpets. She has also since expanded her namesake and romantic features across partnerships, encompassing engagement rings with KAY Jewelers and a home collection with Pottery Barn. Today, Lhuillier is one of the top wedding dress designers in the business, known for her romantic and whimsical designs for a couple's most important day. Monique Lhuillier Spring 2027 Wedding Dresses

For Spring 2027, Monique Lhuillier Bridal continued to embrace the brand's beloved take between the diaphanous and the fanciful bride with playful twists on the seasonality of spring.

To start, Monique continues to dominate the aesthetic of romantic wedding dresses through features like puff sleeves, Duchess satin and sculptural corsetry. This season, though, Lhuillier showcased a fresh look into bridal separates (including a three-piece number that evoked buzz). Color was also a central force at Monique Lhuillier this season with a standout red gown on her traditional lace, along with a black Spanish lace number named the Raven including a detachable bib. Veilettes (the newish birdcage veil) added a tonal, face-framing accent to the gowns.
