r dream wedding on the water. Not only did we get an amazing wedding with unsurpassed service but we were able to provide our guests with a wonderful experience - a night on the water! People still tell us that we had the most unique and fun wedding. I also have to commend Amanda Greco who was our wedding coordinator. She was the very best in terms of making sure we had everything we needed before and during our event. She thought of everything and was always available when we needed her. So not only is it an impressive venue but the customer service aspect is out of this world! I would highly recommend the Freedom Elite for anyone looking to have a wedding in the Philadelphia area!

We were married in August, and for the last 2 months we have heard from every guest that it was the best wedding they went to , which to me makes it worth every penny ! I love looking at the pictures and remember what a great time we had, we plan to go back every year for a dinner cruise !

coordinator. Any questions I had, I felt 100% comfortable sending a quick email to ask. As our wedding day approached, there was more constant contact with our coordinator - she even gave me her cell # so I could call/text after hours if needed. The day of, we were able to have everything dropped off to the location and she and the remainder of the staff took care of everything so that we and our bridal party could focus on getting ready and taking photos. The ceremony was beautiful on the observation deck with the Captain as our officiant - talk about original! During our reception; the entire staff went out of their way to make sure that not only my new husband and I were taken care of, but that our guests were as well. The food was amazing. It was prepared well and served hot and there was plenty of it for our guests! The venue included dinner, optional bar packages, optional h'orderves, an optional wedding cake package (with an external vendor), and a DJ who we were able to meet before the wedding and allowed us to provide as much or as little song guidelines as we wanted. So much was included that we had very little to worry about outside of the venue! We enjoyed our reception and the service that we were provided so much that after the ship docked, we invited both our event coordinator and our server for the night to come back and continue to celebrate with us and our family and friends at a local bar now that they were off the clock. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a more unique venue. You can do as much or as little additional as you would like since there is already a ton of ambiance, class, and natural beauty that comes with the location. Our service was amazing and now more than a month after the wedding, our family and friends still keep telling us what a great time they had and that it was the best wedding that they had ever gone to. I give most of the credit to the staff that worked that night. Without them and the service they provided so much could have been less than I imagined it would be. Instead, it was everything and more! It really was the perfect day and my husband and I thank the team of people that we worked with to make our day special, from the bottom of our hearts!

, she was right there. Everyone talked about how different it wsa to be at a wedding on the ship, which made my wedding stick out. No one complained about motion sickness, which we were a little worries about. The weather turned out to be the best day in Oct., 85 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. My wedding photos came out GREAT, with the view of the Ben Franklin Bridge as well as shots of Penns Landing and the City. The food was great we did an upgrade package which included a carving station. Everyone that I i have spoken to really enjoyed it. The DJ was included in our package. Matt was great, we had a meeting with him before, I told him what I wanted and of course what I didn't want and their was never a problem. He had get energy and had the group moving! I truly loved my wedding here, I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with. I know that everyone who attened my wedding will never forget it.

was our destination wedding that didn't go anywhere (so to speak). All of our guests were able to be on the boat, enjoy a carefree afternoon, and be back in time to tuck their kids in. It was perfect. The crew and planners did everything necessary to customize it exactly how we wanted and on the day of the event they made sure me and my family were catered to. I even heard from my other vendors (flowers, cake etc) that they were a delight to work with for deliveries. If I dared to plan another wedding I would do the Spirit of Philadelphia all over again!!!

s perfect, food was great, music was everything we asked for and all of our guests enjoyed the experience. I would definitely recommend having a wedding on here...it was the perfect venue for our wedding. I would do it all over again without changing a thing.
