They also had great ideas about the best way to use the space and made our wedding day an incredible, special, and curated experience. Thank you Dana and Peggy!! As far as the space goes... I mean, have you seen the photos?? It's even more gorgeous in person. For my wedding of 50 at the end of October, we had our ceremony in the great room of the Lang House, had cocktail hour on the garage roof, and had dinner and dancing in the tent. We also hosted close friends and family in the bedrooms of the Lang House/Emil Bach, and took our photos all over the grounds. The great room made an amazing ceremony space -- I was anxious about fitting 50 people seated in there, but it worked well! The fireplace was also a gorgeous backdrop to our vows, and looks incredible in our photos. We loved using the tent - with the bistro lights (provided by Emil Bach House) and some uplights from our DJ, the space was cozy, warm, and inviting. I have to say the most amazing part of having my wedding here was staying onsite. It was incredibly stress free to host our rehearsal dinner in the house on Friday, go to sleep, and wake up on Saturday at the wedding venue. Then have an amazing wedding, and trundle up to the bridal suite when it was bed time? The best. No messing around with transportation, stressing about forgetting things, worrying about packing up decor and other items at the end of the night, etc.

From support with the day-of, to helping us with the long journey of a celebration, we could not have asked for more... and they often exceeded our expectations with things we never though to ask about. We especially took note of the ongoing improvements to an already beautiful and historic space. Highly recommended for a special event or weekend retreat.

s one of the most thoughtful people we know and she walked through every single step with us to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. She worked tirelessly to make sure we had the caterer we wanted and was kind and patient throughout it all. Dana (also staff at Emil Bach) is also an incredible wedding planner and event coordinator. In the months leading up to our wedding and on the day of, she made sure every single detail was accounted for and made us feel like we were well taken care of. On top of the incredible staff, the venue is absolutely stunning. We booked Lang House and Emil Bach for the weekend and our family and friends were so comfortable, happy and loved everything about both houses. They are both historical homes with modern luxuries and every amenity you could want and imagine. We had our ceremony in the elegant AC tent, our cocktail hour on the rooftop, a mezcal tasting in the tea house and the rest of the evening in the garden. It felt like every space we utilized was tailor made for our gathering. Luckily for us, our August wedding meant we got to enjoy the flowers in full bloom which elevated the venue even more and made for great pictures. Our family even asked if we could renew our vows every year at Emil Bach just to have an excuse to come back again! If I could give any venue and staff 10 stars, this is the place. Peggy, Carmen and Dana will give you their full attention and this venue offers you everything you could want to celebrate your union.

ouse and the Lang house next door available to us for the entire weekend so we were able to have our rehearsal dinner, as well as our wedding and then a casual brunch the following morning. All of the guest rooms were beautiful and it was amazing to be able to have the chance to host our family and friends in both properties. Everyone commented on how special the houses were. Everything ran so smoothly, I really had nothing to stress over all weekend. I can’t recommend this place enough!

ce.  First, both the Emil Bach House and Lang House are breathtaking – they make for an iconic backdrop that's perfect for a more intimate celebration (we had about 65 guests). Our photographer found many cool ways to incorporate the gorgeous Frank Lloyd Wright lines into our shots.  Beyond that, we loved that we had both houses for the entire weekend. We used the rooftop patio for our rehearsal dinner and the dining room at the Lang House for a morning-after breakfast. Our family loved being able to stay together on site, and we loved that we didn’t have to coordinate the logistics of going from place to place. Finally, Toni and Peggy are awesome. The location is historic and in a residential neighborhood, so they’re understandably conservative about the property (no flames, no music past 10, etc.) – but they also worked with us when we had reasonable requests (like when our preferred caterer from their list was booked and they allowed us to consider more options). They were kind and accommodating hosts who went above and beyond to care for us and our guests.

perfect for guests of all ages, and fully equipped with any and all amenities you could ask for. The team with the venue was wonderful - we planned the wedding from New Orleans but knowing that we had their support made planning from afar much less stressful than you might imagine. All in all, a perfect weekend in a perfect location!

the big day making the daunting task of planning a wedding much more manageable. The venue itself was absolutely gorgeous from the historic architecture to the backyard space with the amazing large tent and it provided not only a perfect area for the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception, but also a location for the bridal party and us to stay during our wedding weekend. It was so convenient and so much fun to be at the same place all weekend. All our guests absolutely loved the space and commented on how fun and unique it was. Our wedding weekend was everything we could have asked for and more and we cannot recommend the Emil Bach House and Lang House enough!"
