We rented the Ballroom within the Gadsby's Tavern Museum for our reception dinner, and contracted Gadsby's Tavern the restaurant for food and beverages services. The room was beautiful, and the location is great, but the acoustic was terrible. ...We had music on a speaker but it was too echo-y inside the room. No one was able to hear anything at all. The food was good but the staff was clueless about the drinks. They couldn't even make simple drinks like Screwdriver (a mix of vodka and orange juice). My guests liked the food but had a lot of complaints about the beverage service and the servers. They clearly aren't really well-equipped to service ạ big party, let alone a wedding reception. They should have given us a real bartender instead of just having untrained staff man the bar. Overall, I wouldn't recommend them as the food and beverage vendor for weddings.
